Guilds of Historica New Member Guide
Stormblessed replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
The one thing I remember from before my dark age was an elemental attack of some kind. My problem is I have so many minifigs (though probably a lot less than some), but they are in so many flavors throughout all of Lego history that it makes it hard to choose which type to focus on first. Right now I'm just tinkering on building a small piece focusing on an orc peasant. So I guess I should join nocturnus if I do go with orcish peasant route? -

As someone returning to Legos and not having posted here in 5 years (with only 34 posts does this make me a new member or a returning member :P) I would still like to finally participate in these fun story teller building exercises. But I would like to actually contribute to the story being told rather than just randomly building if possible. I am wondering where I can find a niche that I can fit in. Of course I can just build no matter what, but if someone either has a recommendation or just provide a brief summary of the current plot line so I can try to find a thread to work off of that'd be great. -
Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Conclusion
Stormblessed replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well, that was interesting to read. In hindsight, as it always is, Adam wasn't the right choice. But I was right in thinking that scum were there. Out of the 4(5?), 2 were scum. I guess I didn't just use good enough logic there, but I knew(felt) we had to have a lynch, and I felt like I needed to move quickly with however much time was left. -

I don't know what else to add at this point. Its not like it was a controversial game, and no one brought up anything during the day but me. We can't really accuse people for not playing well. Though I can ask the four of you that remained on the last day, how come you never brought up anything I the game thread. Always bring things up, especially since it was the last day. Not talking at all (dOnt know how many of you talked I private) was very stupid. -

Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Conclusion

I was actually suspicious of Jerrad, Phyllis, and Samantha before I died. I hope I passed, but nO matter what, I feel I played well(ish). At least well enough to be targeted by the scum on night four. To be vanilla and to live is not influence the day without being too outspoken. On day three, I led the conversation and loved, on day four, I led the conversation and died. On day four I was most outspoken. Maybe I am wrong in my asseement. I'm sorry to Adam that I got you lynched. You were most suspicious at the time and my conclusion was that all the scum voted for Isaac on day two, which they did. -

Phyllis also voted for Adam. -

Read what? All you did to accuse me was saying that I was scum for saying I would die. My thought there was that active people get taken out by the scum so there are only people like Christine left (no offense but you haven't put forward any conclusive thoughts) that they believe it will be easier to corral into a corner. -

And what have you contributed yourself in the past. You, who didn't accuse anyone, until I accused you. You didn't respond to my second question. Why me and Isaac? Why not Samantha. Isaac didn't do anything with me. And as to Phyllis's question of me. I said I hopped there was a town block because I hope that PR aren't acting idependantly. That was it. If there is a town block, make sure it hasn't been infiltrated by a scum. -

Adam, at this stage, you defense should be better than a lie. You didn't even read my post. We didn't vote for Ian on day two, we voted for Isaac. And the people to vote for him were the two scum. I think at this point, they saw that he had a reasonable chance of being killed, so had to move to lynch Isaac. But, there were three suspects who could be lynched based on this. DarthPotato (sorry, on my phone again), Adam, and me. I defended myself on day three part one, and if you didnt read it, it was up for many hours before the crash. The reason I accused you instead of Darth is because Darth has talked more than you, and has at least sort of accused people. But he also brought up Ian accused you. And that makes me pretty sure you're the correct lynch for today. Ian, a townie, never voted for a townie and was the only person to vote for Amelia on day one, which seems pretty incredible. He voted for Zachary on day two, then accused you on day three. And then he died. All these things, plus the fact that you never say anything or help out when you do. And then you attack the people who just accused you of being scum. Me and Isaac. Why Isaac? I can understand me, having accused you, but Isaac was the third to vote for you. His thoughts on it were about the same as Darth Potato. Your defesne is weak, and parts I it are just not true. -

I have to believe that at least two more people will come on in a few hours. Unless everyone is sleeping, but not checking te thread every couple of hours? Seems unlikely. Oh, and of Adam arrives, I shall anticipate his argument. "what was I to say, what was I to do?" What I did and find evidence and a case to build off of. I do fear that no matter if he is lynched or not, that I shall die tonight. If I do die and Adam isn't lynched or killed by tomorrow, do lynch him or at least bring up this points I made today. Now, if you don't mind, it's time for me to take a nap. I shall see this tomorrow, and hope enough people come through to lynch him. G'night all. -

Well, I just hope enough people arrive to vote or to not vote, but to at least give a reason for the fact that they aren't voting. With twelve hours left, people should be realizing this on come on sooner rather than when time is up. -

Here is the voting information from day one and two that matter. I shall put in red the people who are scum and dead. And in green the people who are townies and dead. Ok, but here is another point I would like to raise about Christine. She has been unhelpful, hasn't contributed anything and I don't trust her. However she voted for Zachary on day one. Do you want to know who else voted for Zachary on day one? Amelia [the boy wonder], the other scum we caught. Unless the scum can change the identities of the deceased (I sure hope not), that means that one scum voted for another on day one. Jean [endgame] was the other person to vote for Zachary. So, Christine could very well be scum. The Jean information is just there, but I do think it is interesting that none of the scum we know about voted for Jean. But there probably were scum that voted for Jean. I have been focusing on Isaac for the last few days, missing much else. But here we have me, badboy, and Darthpotato voting for Isaac who as still alive. The dead were two scum and a townie. This does make me think that Isaac is a townie, but as we can see from day one, scum have voted for townies before. And Zachary did kill himself more that people wanted him dead. However, as you can see here, Amelia [the boy wonder] stops voting for Zachary so perhaps Christine is actually town, as without her, Zachary probably wouldn't have been lynched. Even though a scum did vote on the first day for Zachary, on the second day, he was barely lynched. However, we don't have information on many of the people's identities here so its pretty inconclusive. But that's my gut feeling. Putting off my confusion on where Christine is (still just think she is just an unhelpful townie), I think Adam should be lynched. As DarthPotato pointed out earlier, Ian had been accusing you before he died and you also voted for Isaac (so did I, but I explained myself during day three before memory wipe). You voted for Isaac on day two, Jean on day one, and haven't been helpful in anyway or contributed anything. Therefore, I: Vote: Adam (badboytje88) and urge everyone else to vote Adam as well. -
Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Day Four
Stormblessed replied to Pandora's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I will admit I haven't been playing a very good game, not having taken detailed notes or suff, but my theory for Christine being a townie is simple. She voted for Zachary of day one. Why would a scum vote for their teammate on day one when they aren t in danger of being lynched. Unless it was some sort of complicated plan to make it seem like she was town, but that doesn't appear likely. Although, Zachary did pretty much kill himself on day two with penalties. Anyways I would like to hear more from Christine about who she thinks is scum because an unhelpful townie is almost as bad as a scum. Because when there are so few townies left, everyone needs to talk or the scum will take over the conversation. I sure hope that some PR created a block, but I'd wouldnt bet on it. -
Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Day Three

I wasn't starting a bandwagon. I was setting something up. And my thoughts on Christine are this: 1. Voting for Zachary on day one makes me trust her the most, seeing as how no one was accusing him yet so it doesn't seem like a scum thing to do. 2. Unless it was a really, really clever or stupid scum who could see Zachary getting lynched even on day one and wanted to get ahead of the curve. I lean toward #1 though. However, Christine isn't talking and that means she is an unhelpful townie, which is bad. I do appreciate Isaac responding because he is talking more than most. -
Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Day Three
Stormblessed replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Let me explain, since my last post was a little confusing. 1. I accused both Christine and you (Isaac) in one of the last posts before the memory wipe. 2. I set a little bait to see who would just bandwagon on to an accusation on Christine because if one looks at her voting record, its obvious she is a townie. Voting for Zachary on day one, when he obviously wasn't going to be lynched isn't something a scum would do. (or a really really clever scum) 3. You continued my accusation toward Christine, providing more proof you are ether an unhelpful townie, or scum (like Christine). 4. You were the first one to accuse Jean, not just one of the people to vote for him. That's what makes it so meaningful. You started the attack on Jean. 5. You spoke a lot on day one. Much more than me. On day two, you spoke the same amount as me. I think that you spoke a lot on day one, so you could speak less on all the other days to sail under our scumdars. If this is still confusing, then I shall explain further. A point I'd also like to add is that I want to see everybody talking, accusing, etc. It only can help scum when we don't talk. Talking can help scum, but not talking only helps scum. Jared, because you're last I'll use you as an example. Your post was meaningless. You said that we should vote, but only if there was a reason. Which is how one should always vote. Your post was just there to be a post, without any accusations, defenses, or salient points brought forward. -
Mafia School: Police Infiltration - Day Three
Stormblessed replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I am suspicious of Isaac. During Day 3 (before the lost data), I pointed out that I was suspicious of Christine and Isaac. Christine hadn't talked much, but was very obviously a townie if you looked at her voting record. Or a really clever/foolish scum. Voting for Zachary on day one is the most logical reason Christine is town. When I brought that up, Isaac jumped on the bandwagon, attacking Chrsitine. But didn't even address the fact I thought he was also suspicious. Isaac spoke a lot on day one, and said just about the same amount as me on day two. I think he is scum who spoke a lot on day one, knew he could accuse someone safely, and then stop talking as much, knowing that people would remember that he had said a lot. Jumping on a bandwagon without doing any looking into Christine voting record means that at the very best, he is an unhelpful townie. He also got Jean lynched. -

This feels so familiar. As if we are repeating something, or maybe a couple of hours. I can't put my finger on it. Anyways, I'd still like to hear Isaac talk. He never responded to my last post, even though he was online. -

I would like to address he concerns a couple people have for me, even of it isn't a majority opinion. I posted about three(?) times during day one, but is contributing more during day two. After one day of slight inactivity, I get accused. But not everyone plays a major role. I am basing my vote on Isaac based off of the fact that he was the first to accuse Jean, right after just contributing nonsense. And he made up a nonsense accusation that led to more people accusing with other strange accusation. I said that Isaac seemed suspicious on the first day, but all he's done is confirm my suspicions and hasn't even Respounded to accusations others made. I am not a fallower, as I keep stating. I was the second one to vote for Isaac. (writer from my phone) Excuse me for a moment, I need to sneeze. -

You may not believe me, Isaac, but I was going to post anyways, not just because you had accused me. I had been in the process of reading thought the threACHOOad and had gotten to page three and just noticed a page four. As I stated in my last post, my vote did not come from retaliation. And that I had not been a part of the bandwagon. I voted second for you and then all the people fallowed. I voted for you because you were one of those who lead the charge (especially early) against the convicted townie of yesterday. You say that it was the best bet, but I didn't think so and stated once in the thread. (would have been more, but my Internet isn't working great) I also mentioned it in private to someone I didn't like they lynch. If you are town, I am sorry, but you actions have been scummy.
