The floor seems to be lacking, almost all sets we've seen, some have been out for a month now. Hopefully some good announcements at the panels, can't wait for that Rancor!

Photos showed up from Comic-Con, it opens to reveal the Captain's chair and a monitor with a screencap from the movie!......It's also $70

Awesome! They put up a full map! Map The wait is killing me!

Anyone heading down to Comic-Con next week? What/who are you hoping to see? Pesonally, I'll be hanging in the Mariott next door hunting for Stars. Although, I'll be running like a madman at the first hint of Lego doing another fig giveaway. I hope they announce a Dark Knight Rises set,but that would be cutting it pretty close to the movie release. Of course, in the non-lego department, I'll be running between Video Game booths trying to find all the demos that get me free stuff! One year I won a demo and the worker said: "Thanks for playing! Here's a lighter!"....I was 10 And just last year I had the creator of the game come over and say that he had never seen anyone that good But enough about me, a discussion normally means more than one person ranting What are you all doing?

Astromech Workplace Contest: Motorized R2 Unit & Hangar
Percabeth replied to vmln8r's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Unless you're going for a certain look, the front needs to be covered up. I can't really tell what I'm looking at, much less R2-D2 -
Very nice addition! Blends tight into the set! I'm sure all 4 of your Batmen will love it

My Target has a small sale on Harry and Pirates. The big sets are about $10 off, and the $15 sets are down to $10. The Alien Conquest Mothership was a few bucks off too. Some better prices, but nothing worth picking up. Ill keep watching to see if Hogwarts falls another 10

Even better: the free-roam engine of the upcoming Lego City

Pretty nice set; I bet those Figs become pretty rare being released in only one expenisve set based on a video game

Nice! Never thought to use the grass piece upside-down!

LOTR Project Preview: The Orc Captain

Very nice! Did you have to glue the skull on, or does the hat have a stud? And nice use of Underwater Ron! -
Very nice! Sandman's arm is very clever!

Future of new LEGO minifigure arm mould
Percabeth replied to Weil's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Wings or not, its still a new mold! While this one might not be relevant to anything out of the Monsters line (I could see Gillman with them painted green for webbed arms), it shows that Lego is open to making new arm molds. The new Spiderman had curved arms in all the key-art, but strangely not in the sets. I hope we get to see some uses for this in the future -
They're not a clone of Legos, but they aren't entirely original. We've seen Galactic Heroes, Squinkies, Crazy Bones, Go-Go's Crazy bones, various 25 cent toys( which ware now like a dollar ), M.U.S.C.L.E.S,......the list goes on

Possible: Percy Jackson, Hunger Games, Brave, Legend of Korra Meh Possible: Mortal Instruments, some real Dark Knight Rises Never Possible: Watchmen, Kill Bill, Space Balls (<-- admit it, you want "Space Balls the Lego" )

REVIEW: 850423 Minifigure Presentation Boxes
Percabeth replied to SilentMode's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Looks like I'm going to pass on this one. I like the "glass" walls and the classic looking instructions and figure, but there's a reason they've made newer versions I fell like that at $10, you should have gotten 6 boxes, not 4 (with on of them being a "you better put the astronaut in or your set ist'y complete!!). -
Am I the only one to notice a distinct lack of Brave sets??? It would have been an easy theme, as its all the pieces can be reused from Fantasy and Action lines. They already have molds for bows, swords, and fantasy themed outfits. Heck, even a FRIENDS set would have been neat!

One does not simply read Heroes of Olympus, without reading Percy Jackson But no I haven't had a chance to read Kane, as I'm waiting for the announcement of the Cross-over series. And yes, Rick said there will be one, just not for quite a while. He's still finishing HoO, and then his new Norse mythology series

Am I the only one that liked that movie???? My username But anyways, I don't ever see Lego getting the liscense, as I've never seen them do a set based on a FOX movie. HOWEVER, Disney has the rights to the books, and we've seen plenty of Disney sets. If they really wanted to fight a legal battle, then they could have Book-Based sets. I can only hope

Nice review! The set looks great, but I fell like it needs some kind of atmosphere. I would pay $30 if it meant having some rubble or a destoyed building
