  1. Les Mis would run a close first/second; haven't seen The Prestige yet so I dunno how to rank that.
  2. I thought the movie was definitely a little cheesy and bad in some aspects, but in my opinion it's Hugh Jackman's best film.

  9. So uh, apparently Stephen Colbert made a camoe as that spy in Lake-town who flips his eye patch down. Source: http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/12/31/stephen-colbert-reveals-his-cameo-in-the-hobbit-the-desolation-of-smaug?utm_campaign=ign+main+twitter&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

  11. Then do us the courtesy of linking a 'suitable' Minas Tirith that's also economically viable for Lego LOTR fans to buy. Please.
  12. This; BrickG is right about the interchange of the books, but PJ seems to create a distinction between those (i.e. Misty Mountain goblins in AUJ; the 'goblins' that Saruman employs when he's industrializing Isengard as opposed to Sauron's armies).

  16. 1 TB hard drive from my parents. Like 5 Starbucks gift cards. About $120 in cash, bought myself a Raptors hat on Boxing Day for $30. Probably gonna use some of that money to buy some new Hobbit sets this week if they're on sale.

  22. Extremely satisfying Week 17; hopefully Cincinnati wins next week and can move on for once. The game's at home so they should have that advantage.
  23. Yeah, if I had to rank his movies (which are all great, don't get me wrong), it'd go: 1. Silver Linings Playbook 2. The Fighter 3. American Hustle I guess the flatness you're referring to could be the difference in genre compared to O'Russell's last 2 movies, where the main characters faced personal demons and adversity while in American Hustle
  24. Saw American Hustle today; a little bit confusing towards the end, but another great film by David O'Russell who's like my new favourite director now. This guy makes amazing movies.
  25. In my 3 leagues this year I went 2nd, 3rd, and 5th with the 5th place one me somehow losing 5 in a row to go 6-7 and get stuck in consolation. My biggest flaws were probably: 1. Drafting too many offensive weapons on a single team (in this case, the Falcons), only to find out that when Julio went down Ryan, Gonzalez, Steven Jackson, and Roddy White all became pretty much unreliable. 2. I drafted and held onto Tavon and Lamar Miller too long in my Yahoo league; eventually dumped them for better vets, but there was a point where I would've been able to maybe grab Alshon Jeffrey had I had extra space. And out of curiosity, do any Patriots fans here know what happened to their defense after their bye week? I know prior to Week 10/11 they were suffering from losing Talib, Mayo, and Wilfork but I thought the cracks really started showing the past few weeks.
