[ Invasion of the Micro Aliens! by Ultron32, on Flickr] I wanted to have an alien invasion. I wanted to have a ship flying. I saw the alien conquest minifig lying somewhere, and I thought "Hey! What if I used his face as the front of the mothership?" So I built a little, added a bunch of buildings and voila! I don't expect it to win or anything, but fun is the important part, and I had loads. The song was fun to make too. Having fun trying to figure out what the heck the tune is?     Last question: does the original have to be lego related? Or can you build lego sci-fi versions of non-lego things?

Cap just didn't look right, with the dark blue and the white arms. And Wonderpuddle, I love your figs, but I think your other cover is better. (the one you didn't enter in the contest)

    My last-minute entry: The Death of Captain Marvel by Ultron32, on Flickr Never heard of Captain Marvel? There's a reason for that: he's dead. Original: (Marvel Graphic Novel #1) The Death Of Captain Marvel by Ultron32, on Flickr So, a few days ago, I was looking skimming through the rules. I saw, "No custom decals allowed" and thought, 'argh! I just went to all the trouble of hand-making decals for captain marvel specifically for this contest!' (http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/) I figured I would just make it so you couldn't see his torso and head, as seen in the pic here. Now about 10 minutes ago I look through all of the rules in detail, and I see "custom decals are allowed." I apparently read it wrong. Just goes to show, you should always read all of the rules before you take your picture. Anyways, though there are obviously flaws in mine (such as all the wrong heroes) I think it came out pretty good. Plus I was forced to make a new hairpiece for thor, seeing as cap is using the original, and I ended up with this awesome one.

    My entry: "Ho Ho Noooo.." by Ultron32, on Flickr The Gammorean saw something flying through the sky. It looked magical, it's bright colors shining in the moonlight... He shot at it, of course. Upon further inspection he saw that it was Santa's Sleigh. Jabba was going to be angry that he had nothing in his stocking that morning. (You DO NOT want to know what one of Jabba's stockings looks like...) And of course, with a santa's sleigh there must come atleast one reindeer. I had a little difficulty finding some suitable horns, but I ended up with this. Thanks for the raffle!
