  1. Know what? I don't remember asking any of you about it, just Darth Andrew. He said he would gladly take criticism, and I like that he can take it without getting upset! Don't you guys get tired of ganging up on people :-| Anway, a few things could improve this to take away the nice "giant battlepack" feel ;-) : 1. give it a, or somewhat of a, roof. 2. put some ice patches, maintnence ladders, recharge wires, and computer terminals to achieve the whole "base" feel. If you do happen to use my suggestions, I can't wait for V2! -Chuck
  2. It was a question! -Chuck
  3. Not to belittle your MOC or anything, but isn't this just hoth base on a baseplate with figs and small parts from other sets? -Chuck
  4. Seems like somone here bought the Initech Jump to Conclusions mat X-D -Chuck
  5. Hmmm, I can imagine a goblin with a little outpost with the banner and a few weapons, and a little mining set for the dwarf if they made impulse sets for them! -Chuck

  7. X38 Hummingbird civilian variant. More here. -Chuck

  12. Just wondering :-/ LOL! I thought you were implying that I was japanese! Kinky. -Chuck
  13. 14...and what? -Chuck
  14. What I don't understand is how you are implying that underaged, new members always have bad MOCs. -Chuck
  15. Not all illegal techniques are unsturdy. In fact, some are sturdier than legal techniques. The window has been fixed so that there are clear plates under it. -Chuck
  16. I've been in there...twice, so don't think this is news to me :-P My eyes have stopped bleeding, if that is what you are asking ;-) -Chuck
  17. Welcome Fartface! A few things: Try to pick out a few colors to give it a nice, fluid color scheme. Try not to pick out colors that clash, but if you do, make it look alien to detract from that. Baseplates should not be used on something this small, as it gives it a boxy appearance. I like what you have for wings and engines, but I sugges compressing everything together, as it looks like you laid a few pieces for a WIP onto a baseplate. If you want it bicycle powered, make it steampunk :-P -Chuck
  18. Make a little room (possibly with helmets and airtanks) in between the cockpit and airlock. Try to give it a more fluid design with slopes and SNOT. Try moving the guns in front of the turret bubble (which I like; gives it asymetry)and make it so they aren't fixed in place, i.e. the Millenium Falcon turrets Try to not use akward angles so as to decrease the amount of holes. As for the Flying Box Syndrome, all the things I mentioned above should take away that factor! Hope that helps, and happy building! -Chuck
  19. Fine, maybe I was a little harsh, but there is a fine line between being mean and constructive criticism. Listing what is wrong with it is helping, so that the MOCer may fix them. If you list the good things, then they will know what not to change. Like I've said before, its how I learned to build. Doug, your little car thing was nice, but sometimes bigger doesn't always mean better. Start small and work your way up. -Chuck
  20. Whats with people and so-called "illegal techniques" latley? -Chuck
  21. The Hummingbird is an experimental air and space light support unit meant to drop in supplies (hence the supply rack on back). It is a one man craft and also can be sold to civilians. Gallery here. -Chuck
  22. Why, *yoda* , do you always magically show up when I do something wrong? You seem pretty lenient with everyone but me. You just make it obvious that you don't like me, but that doesn't mean you have to patronize me for all the wrong things I do :-| -Chuck
  23. Constructive criticism can't always be candy-coated, Hink :-/ -Chuck
