Big update! I've improved Spider-Man's head and back decals and added some variants plus Gwen Stacy, Dr Connors and the Lizard decals! *Apologies if I'm not allowed to double post like this...

I love this project! I was disappointed by Spider-Man 3 but just as much so by the fact Lego lost the rights so I never got to recreate the film to my own liking So it's great to see you're making sets for that film as part of these awesome recreations

Well, what started as a small bit of fun to put together a decal of the new Spider-Man movie costume has become a massive project to visualise The Amazing Spider-Man in Lego! Hmm, I do think viewing in a 3D program would probably be more beneficial to me The whole all in one installer doesn't work... It starts to install then says it can't create the uninstall file so crashes

BMP2DAT doesn't run on Windows 7 so I shall try to find an LDRAW all in one installer (I don't seem to be having much luck here ) EDIT: Yeah, I'm really not having much luck. The installer includes Sticker Generator but won't work on my computer either. It goes through the options okay but as soon as it comes to starting the actual install it tells me it cannot create the uninstall file and closes. Think I'm just going to have to give up on this.

Well it seems as if that sticker generator would have done the trick, but unfortunately the guy seems to have removed his site I'm having a look round to see if I can find a mirror download link

Is there a program anywhere that allows you to import custom designs for minifigures? I design a lot of decals in my spare time and would like to have a program which allows me to see how they'd look on an actual minifigure so that I can see what needs tweaking before printing. Any help would be greatly appreciated

My Gandalf Arrives, Shelob Attacks and Uruk-Hai Army sets arrived from America today, and I can finally join in heaping on the praise for these sets! Of the three, build-wise my favourite is probably the Uruk-Hai Army set, but looks wise it's probably Shelob attacks, just because of the articulation of Shelob. She's currently positioned in my cabinet crawling down the wall with Sam and Frodo looking on in fear. I adore the new horses, too. I'm having to sit on my hands to stop myself ordering Weathertop and the Orc Forge now...

I picked 'em up from Bricklink, cost me £71 incl. P&P which is pretty darn good considering that's probably only about £9 more than I'd pay at RRP to get them a month or two earlier. I'm not a huge LOTR fan actually, but the sets look to be such high quality that my inner LEGO fan seems to be uncontrollably magnetised to them

Finally caved and ordered Gandalf Arrives, Shelob Attacks and Uruk-Hai Army from the States tonight when the news hit Brickset that the line isn't being released in the UK until August... I can't be expected to wait that long for such awesome looking LEGO!

I've just tweeted the LEGO Group to see if they can give me a rough date for this line in the UK. They said mid-to-late June for Australia so I'm wondering whether it'll be the same here. I hope it's fairly soon though as I don't know how much longer I can keep waiting with all the reviews floating about showing how awesome these are

This looks a lot better... The red looks like it matches the head and hands a lot more, and I think that was all it really needed. I look forward to the release of this set!

So is it just me that actually quite likes it then? Sure, the red should be stronger, but otherwise I'd say it's more accurate than the old blue-on-red torso, which always looked awkward to me because his sides were very obviously red. I don't have a problem with the wholly blue legs, either, as it allows them to capture the midsection stripe better by having it on the torso. As I say though, I do think having a stronger red printing would be better, but overall the design choices they've gone for here I feel make for a more accurate Spider-Man.

Hello all! I've been working on some decals recently for a Spider-Man Lego series I hope to make on YouTube. I was inspired by ED-209's excellent decals (Some of which can be seen here) and how he has managed to emulate the style of Lego really well. Due to the fact these are based on my own concepts for characters there will be a mix, with some decals based on original versions, some based upon the Ultimate comics, some on films and some just my own designs. Some of my designs also use existing Lego faces as a base while I get to grips with the style of the current Lego minifig designs. I haven't had an opportunity to try these out yet so if somebody uses them it'd be great to see the results . Anyway, enough chat, here's my first three decals (spoilered for size): Venom (Based upon the classic design) Green Goblin (Based upon the Ultimate design): Daredevil (Somewhat based upon the movie design): Hope these come in handy!

I love these! I may have to get myself the stuff to print and prepare decals now, I'd love to add your designs to my Marvel Superheroes lineup! They inspired me to have a go at some of my own stuff...
