I cut one of the blades as shown above, painted both silver, bent the staff slightly at the end and put the suggested blue missile piece in, looks pretty near perfect IMO

That's one of his earlier forms, now he looks like this: Which is pretty identical to his comic-book counterpart, so it's difficult to say, but I'd be inclined to think it's based off of the above

I get where they're coming from. I think the point is, if they were displaying sets from both 2012 and 2013 then why did the Star Wars only have the Rancor and not some of the 2012 figs? While Iron Man, Spider-Man and Thor are 2012 figs, they will all be appearing the same should they appear next year, and if they're not advertising 2013 sets then you'd think the trio would be something like Spider-Man, Iron Man and Wolverine to showcase all three Marvel subthemes of 2012.

Thank you, I'm very pleased with how the Peter Parker decals came out myself Me too, but here's hoping maybe for the next film Lego will get the construction rights back

The Amazing Spider-Man is Sony, so unfortunately the construction toy rights are with Mega Bloks

Oh my word, these are awesome! 2013 can't come quick enough, the Venom fig is PERFECT IMO. And it's nice to see a Beetle, he's always been a favourite of mine but I never actually thought I would see a minifig of him, especially not so soon!

That's a great idea for us Brits actually as a way of trading exclusives for exclusives. If my friend can't get me one himself I might go down this route if someone's willing.

Phew, after all that it's just black-suited Spider-Man. Still, I hope my friend is successful in getting me one, but I'm a bit happier knowing that they're not not going to be producing a wide-release Venom.

Out of curiousity, how much were the Captain America and Iron Man exclusives at first? Were they less expensive than they are now? I ask because Venom's my favourite villain ever and I'd be gutted to miss him. Plus I have a hunch based on the Cap exclusive that it might be the new Agent Venom design which would make it even more desirable for me

Thank you Thanks, Spider-Man is my favourite superhero and I'm very excited about seeing the new film tomorrow, as I didn't really enjoy the previous trilogy, so that's why I've put so much work into my decals here Thank you, when I have some spare money I'm going to invest in some stuff so I can apply these decals. I've never done it before so I'm rather apprehensive myself!
