Well, you can always look here if you want to now more. Thanks for all the nice replies, guys!!! I also found a French Hotchkiss machinegun on my room, so I made some pics too. I might redo this one as I am not completely happy with it. Excuse me for the blurry pics, I'll try to remake them tommorow. 2.2) Hotchkiss Mle 1914 8mm Heavy Machine Gun The Hotchkiss (as it is most often called) was the basic French heavy machine gun during the Great War. (It was also used by them during World War 2.) It was also the standard tank machine gun of the French armoured vehicles during WWI, at the same time it was also used in a number of British Tanks.

I hope my entry is still within the prolonged time. Here's Caenlin, he doesn't look really knightish, I hope he's still allowed.

Actually, I did try to make a Mk IV tank, but I didn't have the threads for the wheels and since threads are rather expensive to buy, I took the tank apart for pieces.

I've got these things standing in my room for quite sometime now, but I couldn't take pics because I didn't have a digicam. But yesterday my parents bought and so, without further ado, here are my MOCs. (Some things are difficult to see as they are made in black bricks) 1) German weaponry 1.1) 7.7cm Feldkanone 96 n.A. The by far most numerous gun in the arsenal of the German Imperial Army in 1914 was the 7.7cm Feldkanone 96 n.A.. Germany entered the war with 5.086 of these Field Gun. Throughout the whole Great War, it stayed the workhorse of the German Artillery, and though as such not as well-known as many other, large-calibre pieces, it was of course very important, being used on all fronts and in all battles. 1.2) 7.7cm Feld-kanone 16 Pretty soon after the start of the war, the Germans realized that their standard field artillery piece, the FK 96 n.A. had some serious drawbacks, and that it was often only because of the numerical superiority of their field guns that they could hold their own against the field artillery of their opponents, which often had both a greater range and a greater effect. Therefore, development work was soon started on a new Field Gun. 1.3) German 10.5cm leichtes Feldhaubitze 16 The German lFH 16 was designed during the war by Rheinmetall as a replacement for the old, standard light howitzer, the lFH 98/09. It had a longer barrel than the older gun, and also a new type of breech, needing one less movement in order to be opened. It fired the same ammo as the old gun, with one addition: the so called C-Geschoss, i.e. Gas shell. They were manufactured by a number of different manufacturers, and they began to be issued to the troops from the beginning of 1917. When the war ended 3.044 lFH16:s were in service. 1.4) German Maxim7.92mm machinengewehr The German 08 model of the popular Maxim system machine gun, was the basic German machine gun of the World War I, and also the most widespread model of Maxim MG in the world. (Picture shown above is taken during usage in East Africa, thus explaining the askari) 2) French weaponry 2.1) Canon de 75mm mle1897 ("75") The French "75" - or to be more precise: Canon de 75, mod

I like this set! The dragon looks way larger than I imagined. The catapult looks really cool with the skull and all. Did anyone see these Viking sets in regular stores?

Then you'll enjoy the wonders of the Ninja theme ;-) Wow those are amazing sets ! where they ever on sale in Belgium?? On one hand I only ever see crummy stars wars and harry potter lego (decent sets but I don't like the themes). And on the other hand Those big ugly knights and bionicle. Yeah, they were available in Belgium. I got the minifig pack, but alas, my parents didn't give me any of the other sets.

Nope, I've never heard of anyone calling a microwave oven a magnetron. [...] I looked it up on Wikipedia and a magnetron is a piece that is used in a microwave oven.
-
I know it's photoshopped. I should've mentioned it in my first post. But it's a bloody good photoshopped picture.

Magnetron? Sorry man i think magnetron doesn't exist in Lego space...can you explain what is magnetron? ah, thanks to all to your replies, is nice to see people posting about the space theme Magnetron is M-tron's full name. I saw a scan of a page from an old LEGO catalog on Brickshelf. It said Magnetron on it. this is interesting! where exactly did you see this? I am aware that several countries used to refer to blacktron 1 as "Black Star" and the Canadians refered to Futuron as "Futureworld", so it's not impossible to have one country talking about Magnetron... Well, I found the image, but I apparantly mis-read it because it doesn't say Magnetron, although several of the other M-tron related galleries called them Magnetron. Sorry for the long quote, but isn't magnetron another name for a microwave oven? If so, wouldn't it be kind of rediculous to call a Space faction like that?

I don't know if this plane is the minifig version of a real WW2 plane or just a plane based on WW2 aircrafts. I think it looks quite good, it really gives me the feeling of a real WW2 plane. I like the solution the builder found for creating the Allied Airforce logo, without using stickers. Anyway, here's the gallery.

Like I've already said: you could use deeplinks to show us some pics of the moc. Just go to your B-SHelf directory and keep clicking on the desired image until it's URL ends in .jpg, .gif, .bmp or whatever. Then you copy/paste the URL between the Image (img) tags. For example: (without quotes) ["img"] link goes here ["/img"]. Hope that helped. :-)

:-P Hey >:-( Mudhole ? Slimmy ? My home this is !! :-D *yoda* :-P Hehe, number three of Yoda's most favourite quotes. I think it's really weird that Yoda lives in a small hut like the one from the movies. I know he's old and old that, but he still has the force to pull of something better than a 'hut' made out of mud in the middle of a swamp.

If that was Grendel, shouldn't he've a bit smaller, more like Hagrid's size?

Uhm..... I actually WOULD prefer a new X-Wing over a Gunship or AT-AT. Maybe I'm in the minority. [...]I guess that all those PT sets are way less iconic that the MOST iconic ship ever: the X-Wing *sweet* That little buggar destroyed the DS, found the Yoda swamp, escorted the rebel transports during the Hoth escape, and contributed to the destruction of the DSII !! What other ship can claim that ?? (ok maybe the MF :-D ) !![...] *yoda* Oh yeah, finding Yoda in his swamp, that's the most memorable part of the entire trilogy; going to a little green midget who lives in the middle of his own crap really assured victory for the rebels :-P .

Could you please post deeplinks? You can post deepilinks by clicking ona a pic until it's URL ends in .jpg, .gif, and so on...

My grandfather fought in the 2nd World War too, in Russia. It's actually a miracle he survived WW2. My grandmother died 5 years ago. And during the time she died, all the movies they showed on tv were really sad and all. It was quite weird.

Thanks for the pic ;-) . That's a cool head he has, it looks a bit like Viktor Krum (the dude from HP4).

Your review really surprised me. I didn't know that there could be advanced techniques in this building, it looks so basic. COuld you please post a pic of Sir Adric without his helmet?

[...] As for the crew being too few for a ship of this size: If it be just a bulk freighter, and not a warship, I'd say it'd be mostly befitting to sport a small crew of five, since what do you need? Captain/engineer, one in charge of navigation and computers, some cargo-experst/engineers, one chief-engineer. Just look at the "Nostromo" freighter from the first "Alien"-movie, very much the same thing. That's all. So I think it fits very well. I don't think it's a freighter, but a warship. Big_X's post on CS states that it supposed to be a frigate. But still, I ain't complaining, it looks amazing.
