  1. You could try bricks and pieces service (?) ie https://service.lego.com/en-us/replacementparts#WhatIndividualBrickBuy/87079 Looking at those prices though you would be better off with http://www.bricklink.com/store.asp?sID=159216&itemID=32887834
  2. I believe the KMart sale/clearance price on the HH is $188. It was last time I saw one a couple of weeks ago.
  3. Where abouts is the 'clearance' area? Near the LEGO stuff?
  4. It has been six months since the last confession made here... perhaps not posting on the internet makes it 'super secret'. I spent a long period last year gathering, sorting, sorting, counting, and gathering parts. So far this we have made from parts Cafe Corner, some Batman Tumblers, an AT-AT Walker, the Green Grocer (1x4s not 1x8s), and the Grand Carousel.... I think my better-half has suspicions that these parts were not all just lying around This year I am thinking Market Street, perhaps a Monorail, and the Winchester...
  5. Just got back from same (GeppsX TRU)... a handful of these left ..
  6. Is this part of sale coming up? I see it on their website @ $114 currently?
  7. Beach House at K-Mart for $35 looks the best deal currently? Does Myer price match on sale items etc? ( oh for Adelaide people the AdeLUG meeting is tonight at Laygo 7pm -- see https://www.facebook.com/pages/AdeLUGs/100775856660696 )
  8. Last of the Hillside just got snapped up, lots of the trucks left.
  9. At Myer Marion saw about 6 Helm's Deep sets...
  10. http://brickbadger.com/themes/afol?lan=es&c=1 Amazon looks pretty good even with the ~77 euros they will charge to ship it, take off 19% VAT -- mine took about 5 days tracked via UPS well packed (its like 8 or 9kg..) -- use the Chrome Browser to 'auto-translate' the language..
  11. 1600 bricks -- this looks like a semi-reasonable buy from S@H even with shipping ? http://shop.lego.com/en-AU/LEGO-XXL-Box-5512 My maths says ~30 shipping (perhaps $35) ~ 6.9 - 7.1 cents/brick ... doesn't look bad against other sets/amazon's etc... on bang-per-brick? Am i reading this wrong?
  12. It is hard to understand. Chromebricks.com has worldwide for 25 Euro up to 30kg max size 1.2m x 0.6 x 0.6 ... I nearly fell off my chair when a box of this dimensions turned up today (FireStation/TownHall/X-Wing and a few bits -- about a quarter of the box was padded with air)
  13. My wife is going to kill me -- nice spot though.
  14. Target 20% off http://target.dynamiccatalogue.com.au/portal/dynamiccatalogue?CatalogueID=13360946126815&pageview=thumbnail&selectedCategoryId=691&selectedCategoryName=Toys+%26+Games Note that BigW has Wolverine's Chopper Showdown ( http://www.brickset.com/detail/?set=6866-1) for $38.93 vs Target $39. http://www.bigw.com.au/toys/construction/lego/super-heroes/bpnBIGW_0000000304842/?utm_medium=WeeklyNewsletter&utm_source=edm&utm_campaign=20120517_LegoSuperHeroes&SI_LINK=B15
  15. I'm looking for Diagon Alley... Any tips from players? (ie should I wait and hope amazon.fr does a special at some time?)
  16. Dropped past BigW in Marion (SA) and last one on the shelf was $75 (but not marked as clearance, or even with a price-tag)... Hmm... now I have two sets I wonder if I could make something that goes nicely with Modular Buildings. Thanks for the spotting DrWeevil
  17. http://www.bigw.com.au/toys/construction/lego/city/bpnBIGW_0000000257730/lego-city-of-atlantis-7985 $75 it is. I checked out BigW before Target so no idea how I missed it ... oh well, such is life ;)
  18. Mill Village Raid http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=7189-1 and City of Atlantis http://brickset.com/detail/?Set=7985-1 were at Marion (SA) Target marked clearance at $85. Looked pretty good to me vs RRP.
  19. Hmm.... Now that I know it exists +1 for me...
  20. Any suggestions? Amazon.fr doesn't seem to have them yet, and I have looked at a few US bricklink stores, but the shipping is pretty extreme...
