  1. So, General, any news or updates? When you get things built, or are being built, will you show us the (WIP) pictures? I am looking forward to seeing some progress, personally.
  2. I'll see if I can try to take a picture maybe sometime tomorrow. We just got a new camera for Christmas, so I need to try to figure out how to use this one anyway. Those trade pictures came from another camera somebody was allowing me to use.
  3. The helmet basicly looks like that, but there is only the front bolt there, no second one. It was originaly a green helmet, but was repainted black. That is the 'decal' in the top left. I know what the decals are, but this is my question:My helmet does not have a decal, it has an individual '3D' metal piece connected the the helmet exactly where the decal would be. So where did it come from? Are they rare or something, because I have never seen them before?
  4. I usually don't bump threads, but I have been wondering about something. I collect War things mainly from WWII and Vietnam, so, as you would expect, I have a German helmet. I don't remember exactly what type it is, I think it was something like M40 or M44, and I know for sure it is not a Combat helmet. Anyway, where there is normaly the decal on the side of the Eagle(?) holding the swastika with it's talons/feet, mine is not a decal. It is an individual steel piece with the design 'stamped' into it, with three prongs on the back that go into the helmet and fold inward. The other one that is supposed to be on the other side is missing, unfortunately, but the holes are there. Does anybody know where this came from? Have any info about these at all? I'm trying to figure out where it came from, because I can't find any sort of pictures or photos of them, not even replicas.
  5. This has been going on for a few years, I think. I am pretty sure it is just an alternate mold, so they can make more torso's at the same time.Every set I have bought for a while has varied, so it is not a change, nothing new.
  6. A while ago I had the idea to do this, but I still don't have the Army Men Battlepack. Even if you did use shortcuts, this is still a nice little MOC. I'm actually pretty sure it's Rotta.
  7. Well, these fit perfect. Brickarms fans love them. Good point.
  8. Well, way back when I first got a PS1, I knew the graphics were lacking, but I loved it anyway. When I got a PS2, I loved it even more, and the graphics on some games I thought to be amazing, but once in a while were still lacking something. Now I just got my PS3 for Christmas, and you could probably guess that I think it is absolutely amazing. The graphics are excellent, and there are many more things to do other than playing games. (I know, that didn't sound smart. ) I just don't know how they could make a PS4 better.
  9. That sounds good, looking forward to seeing some more of those. I take it the mohawk in the first post is the long one...
  10. Gotta love the classic Mr. T. Any word on what those other two are?
  11. I really love these three, Penguin. I had to think about Superman's torso for a minute to figure out what it was, then I saw it was the hammer and scythe. (Is that what it's called?) Is that a grenade on Batman's leg? If he was running, and his belt snagged the pen...Well, that's not the best place for a grenade. He looks good, but his hat might could use some texture. I can't think of much to say about the Penguin, other than that his hat is absolutely perfect.
  12. Thanks! I don't know how I've missed that review, but it does help. Before I buy anything, I think I will examine the pictures some more. I might buy something, but his stuff is expensive and would need a little bit of modding.
  13. With those chrome pants, he was just asking for it. Pretty funny Moc/Followup, although not exactly a great way to start off the year by getting some random girl pregnant...
  14. Neither of those was a licensed theme, unlike Indy. The license is not free either, so why would Lego waste valuable (literally) time when they could be using it to put out new products? As much as I hate it, I am pretty sure the 'Adventure Continues' game marks the unofficial end of Indy.
  15. That kind of stinks. Color does not really concern me, I can live with that or paint it. Helmets not sitting straight is what would bother me. Do you know if they have a really tight fit on heads, are loose, or a good fit?
  16. That sounds pretty interesting.I 'collect' pretty much anything I like, especially vintage stuff. For example, I love music, so I have four or five guitars. When I was under ten years old, I stockpiled up several hundred Hotwheels cars, for who knows what reason. Now I only buy vintage Redline Hotwheels cars, with some exceptions including VW Vans and Drag Trucks, like the 2002 Pink VW Beach Bomb I went out of state to buy today. I also collect military issue things from German and American wars. German stuff from both World Wars, and American stuff from WWII up to the Vietnam era, with very few modern exceptions for either (Ammo Cans). I would love a good collection of guns, but I unfortunately have better places for my money to go at the time. Getting a WWII Luger would make me very happy.
  17. I was wondering, has anybody here ordered from the Bricklink Amazing Armory Customs store before? I would like to know how good of a quality their plastics/products are. Some things look a little questionable, but it can be hard to tell from one picture. Also, if you have some of their headgear or helmets, could somebody take a picture of the underside of them please?
  18. I was actually wondering about his quality stuff. I know he has a lot of great looking desings and many nice products, but the quality does look a little iffy on the edges. You may have to trim the excess plastic off of the back of them as well. Be sure to tell us when they come in the mail, please. It looks like you will have plenty of supplies for this. Just a simple statement here, but every time I look at a big MOC I always think about how the size really doesn't matter, it's all of the small details that make the Moc worth looking at. Sorry if you said this somewhere else, but are you planning on including any tanks, half-tracks, or anything else of the sort? If so, Brickmania and Mechanized Brick have some pretty good designs that you could modify a little to add some originality. The Mechanized Brick has an instruction CD for US $40 I think, with some pretty good stuff on it, be it Artillery vehicles or Planes. The actual products from either place can get a little expensive, though.
  19. I only keep the boxes for Star Wars and Indiana Jones stuff. They are packed inside of each other, and put in a neat pile in my attic. Unfortunately I threw away all of my Batman boxes before I decided to start keeping them.
  20. I know I'm a little late to update here, but my PS3 is way more fun and time consuming than I expected it to be.
  21. Look at post #20 on This Page.
  22. I got: --Clothes --PS3 ---Indy 2 ----Guitar Hero: 5, Smash Hits, Metallica, World Tour dual guitar set, and a promotional Van Halen -----Rock Band: 1, and Beatles --$Money$ --Star Wars Coffee mugs --Led Zeppelin, Beatles, and Metallica posters --Military Uniforms (yes, I actually wear parts of them) --War documentary --Lego Home One and Endor Bunker --Food --Household essentials
  23. Yep, got that. I did, and it does say it's IE8.Big Cam, I might try that in a minute, and see what it does.
  24. Sorry. I was wondering if you would be awake or not...I guess it's Windows, if that's a browser. I'm not exactly an expert, and I don't really know what a lot of these things are. This problem seems kind of random. It will show my name as the last poster for some, but not all of the threads I post in.
  25. Well, I have thought of a few more things.-I usually try to be a simple person, but the perfectonist in me doesn't always allow that. -If you ever see me in public, it may be obvious who I am because I like to wear U.S. Army uniforms, both modern and vintage. -I have a red 1988 GMC Truck, and am looking for a classic Muscle car. -Car Shows and Gun Shows always find their place on my calendars. -I actually listen to vinyl records, the only one I have that is for display is a 1969 Led Zeppelin II that is framed and on my wall. -Even though my name is Damian, I am called by so many different nicknames that very few people actually call me Damian. -I am basically the opposite of a vegetarian. Almost all of my favorite foods are meat. Good luck! If you have been together this long, she will more than likely say yes. Would you ever actually wear that helmet?
