  1. You know what, just sure. Sure. You think what you want, but whatever. I don't feel like argueing over something with pointless/useless results right now. So.....On topic... Yeah, I have to agree with you there. A circus train would indeed be very impressive, even though TLC probably wouldn't make it with all of the cars. Two main details I would look forward to from it are all of the animals, new and old, and some dark green fedoras.
  2. Wow, that is a pretty good find.
  3. Like their own little 'Grand Finale' for the theme.
  4. The one with cloth looks better.
  5. Oh, I didn't know Australia had 'states.' I thought they were just regions or something. And is the Yoda magnet fig any different at all from the other one in the AAT? EDIT: I wonder if they gave the Henry Jones keychain fig a different hat on purpose?...
  6. That's just it, they watched The Last Crusade! All TLC showed was a clip of Indy when he was young, not part of the series entitled Young Indy. That's 'why wrong.'
  7. That is actually one of the first things I looked for/found on the sticker sheet, just to make sure it was there. And it is not trans-gray, it's White. The paper is an Off-White. And yes, it would have been much smarter to put a black border around it.
  8. Yeah, we do need a Lego store in every state in the USA, but how does that affect Australia?
  9. Wrong Young Indy, that is The Last Crusade, whereas Young Indy was actually a short TV series. I think George Lucas just filmed the series to practice for Star Wars Episode I, I am pretty sure I read that in a book somewhere. So, no, I don't really want Young Indy sets, though I could use the parts.
  10. Actually Legoking, I got the helmet off. WARNING: My technique is not a good one if you plan to reuse the torso. 1.-I used a pocketknife to pry the magnet off of his back. 2.-Pull the helmet right off. 3.-Pry the magnet off of whichever it is still stuck to. 4.-Attemped to get glue off, was FAILED attempt. 5.-Pull the head out. (It was not glued in)
  11. I have not tried any of those yet, though I have used Brasso to remove torso printing, and it worked really good. As far as not damaging the plastic or the print though, it is easy. Just take a can of AXE Bodyspray, squirt a few drops on the part, 'roll' it around, and wipe it all off. It works, and leaves your Lego brick smelling fresh!
  12. That's why the cashier has really big eyes, and is chasing down the customer to give her her change of $98.50 I thought it fit.
  13. Yes, it is new. My stormie keychain is a really light gray there. I don't really know if it will be in future sets, but my guess is yes, because that would be a waste of a change otherwise. Either way, I don't like it.
  14. I was surfing Bricklink and realised that Bricklink actually had links.
  15. Oh, so what? We buy our Lego in the store parking lot now? And Wal*Mart has secret agents somehow listening to your bribes through cinderblock walls?
  16. Gee, I didn't think prices were very high in Strawberry Fields (Forever). Do you happen to have any long haired friends there, like these guys. (click)
  17. I just wish I could do it myself, but I don't know how or have all of the resources.
  18. Yeah, when I built it, I wondered for a long time. I considered many possiblities temporarily, like either TLC had gone crazy or I had missed a page in the instructions.
  19. If I could, I would suggest Chroming and Decaling a SW minifig like oh, say, Jar Jar ( ) for the next contest's prize/prizes. Yes, it would be kinda expensive, but seeing more good MOCs makes it worth it.
  20. I would be willing to accept those weird looks for a Vader or two. But anyways, I don't get it. It seems that everybody around me can get their hands on several chrome Vader's and 3-PO's. How is it that I can never find any of the special promotional things out there?
  21. It's not invisible when you can see it though. It is just a white sticker on white paper. It's camo, if you will.
  22. KimT, you put ''Imperial Scout Trooper'' above one of the magnets sets in the news topic. He's a stormie. He doesn't deserve that title, even if he is fighting for his...well....Space station.
  23. Oh, okay. It was just the way he put it that apparently didn't make much sense to me.
  24. Brickset has a post on it also.
