20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, by Jules Laverne (Maybe?) was a really good book. I don't typically read that much, and if I do it is usually History oriented, but this was an exception. I saw it on a shelf and thought to myself, "Hmmm, I wonder..." and then just picked it up and started reading, cutting off my train of thought. The Odyssey was also really good.

Yes, I'm sure we all go to prison on a daily basis. Serious question: Anyway, if you are arrested, spend the night in jail, and go to court the next day, how are you supposed to find time to tell everybody at EB where you're going? I kind of doubt there would be any time, unless you just commited a crime and was going to turn yourself in.

I don't have but a few pictures of myself, none of which are digital, so who am I to complain?

Movie you liked but most people hated...
The Who replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I agree. Jar Jar actually causes such neutral feelings with me, I even use him as an avatar. (Sorry to state the obvious )The Podrace is amazing, and I was very dissapointed at the few sets TLG made for Ep.I recently. I was hoping for another Podrace set, to place beside my old one to compare. And having met Ray, I must say that he is a pretty cool guy. -

Hopefully we will still be seeing WIP pictures soon, though. -

So you watch the History channel too, huh? Um, no. No offense, but your plot sucks. That's why there are experts like George and Steven who actually know what they are doing, and how to please the audience. And because that would make you happy does not mean that anybody else is happy. Because everybody is entitled to their own oipnion.Personally, I loved The Phantom Menace, but as of so far I have yet to hear of anybody else that likes it. -
I think the best solution, if you want them to stay built on display, is just don't play with them. Simple as that. I know Lego is made for the purpose of playing with, but it is the best way to go, I think. What I do is buy the set (with droids, of course), build it, put it on display, and leave it there. You can't constantly take the droids apart and put them back together. And if you do anyway, always 'slide' the regular droid arms on, don't snap them on.

Maybe for a Chrome Vader it would help if you held up a few pieces of black paper behind the camera, and take the picture at an angle in which the camera is facing a point on the fig with the least refelction, so the camera doesn't show?Hope that helps, if it is at all understandable.

Pink!? Don't you mean flesh?
-
Sheesh, that's a tad harsh. I know I'm not the brightest bulb in the box, but ouch... (Still made me laugh, though. )Anyway, yes I saw the Jedinews pictures, but I was saying that even though I knew from the video it was flesh, the J.N. pictures still look sort of yellow. I think it's just the lighting, or maybe the angle of my computer screen.
-
Okay, that's good. (Not rushing you, so don't feel obligated to get it done faster or anything, which I'm sure you aren't. )I guess that's all I have to say for now.

Wow, that's a really good picture of you, seeing as how there is no helmet in the way or anything.
-
You can still eat them, right? I probably would. (kidding)

Or go the the customer service section of www.lego.com, if you are positive they are the wrong pieces.
-
Okay. I was being lazy when I saw the link, and didn't feel like clicking it, but it deffinately shows the fleshieness of the torso. The picture from Jedinews still looks yellow, though.

I don't know about this....I'm not sure I really see the whole 'guitar' aspect of it. Personally, I would much rather have a one piece guitar mold, of something like a 1961 Gibson SG Standard.

It does look yellow, but I really hope the final production version is not.

Gee, wonder who that would be. *cough*Jammie*cough* The Pilot is all I could really think of, unless there was an enemy ship, which I really doubt.

KimT, are you still working on the minifig index, or is that going to be a permanent WIP? (Sorry, best way I could put it. )

My MOC LEGO Operation Valkyrie Theme Sneak Preview!
The Who replied to Imperial Governer's topic in Special LEGO Themes
This sounds very interesting, so I have two questions: 1--What are you doing with the MOCs when you are done with them? Just keep them on display...? 2--If you are making a Hitler minifig, are you using decals? -
After years of display, mine are all fine. I only ever broke one SBD, and it was brand new, and very brittle.

I have always called her by her name, so it's kind of confusing to call her by anything else. And I call my father's mother my grandmother, if that makes sense.
-
Not unless you built a MOC of one. I think so...
