  1. I´ve always thought that this looked like one of the most impressive Ice Planet sets, despite it´s small size. This review pretty much confirms it. Good parts, solid and swooshable look and a great colorscheme.
  2. Sure, the lion head is blocky, but at least it looks more LEGO than the akward head sculpts of the other lions. As a matter of fact, it actually does remind me of the Portal of Atlantis shark head. If only it included a pool of Chi. Sadly, that would probably accelerate it way beyond the price point.
  3. Just. Ridiculously. Awesome. I think the two highlights of this build are the "command tower" and the little conveyor belt beside it.
  4. Nice! I love the rocky setup.
  5. Yeah, I checked. The dutch catalog doesn't even mention the Galaxy Squad sets as a preview. I'm guessing this might be a side-effect of Chima. Oh well, just means I've got an excuse to go crazy and spend all of my money in one go. The facehuggers have me wondering too. And I feel so stupid for not guessing that was a millipede. If this becomes a two-year theme, I could imagine the 2014 winter wave featuring a Red Squad flagship and the 2014 summer wave featuring a green squad flagship.
  6. I've translated the prices using a program on my computer. And since the SH ultrabuilds and the medium-sized HF sets cost about that much, I think that's a pretty probable price. Here's hoping the TV show features these as more than just one-second Chi-induced ghosts in later episodes.
  7. That's the typical LEGO fan reaction in a nutshell.
  8. Only a true genius could make such a horrible pun.
  9. I think it's safe to say there won't be anymore Ninjago sets. I just wish LEGO would realize that you should make the big release at the END of a theme, so that the popularity of the theme affects the maximum amount of sets.
  10. Seems Chima is here in the Netherlands too now. And now I feel stupid for not realizing the speedorz sets already reintroduced the comet piece. Anyway, excited about the news of the Fox tribe. Also, I don't believe we've seen pics of the Ice tower or the Nest Dive before. If we haven't, I'll post pics from the catalog.
  11. Wow! I think this is probably one of the only Lion sets that actually looks good. Nice rockery, LEGO-looking Lion head, beautiful Chi streams and overall great architecture. Not just that, this means a re-release of the old space comet piece!
  12. I wish they'd make a revival of Futuron. Or perhaps a Rock Raiders revival with a more sci-fi-ish tone than Power Miners. EDIT: Just noticed. At first I thought some of the strange trans pieces in the summer sets were the old comet part from old space sets, before I thought, nah, that part´s been out of production for over a decade. Then I saw that a summer Chima set (the Lion CHI Temple) uses it. So I guessing that´s what at least some of the strange unidentified trans parts were on those prelim pictures.
  13. Me too.
  14. I highly doubt they'd actually reboot the entire classic space range. I would love it if they rebooted Rock Raiders as a more sci-fy than they did with Power Miners though.
  15. Thirteen euros seems reasonable enough to me, especially for a larger set like Gorzan.
  16. Wow. Cool drone. The figure steals the show though, with that awesome armor and what I would definitely not call a small gun.
  17. Does he have any extra info about the sets?
  18. I'm surprised that no-one else has decided to milk this gem of an idea.
  19. Wow. This looks vaguely Steampunk because of it's colorscheme, yet very "techno" as well. Brown isn't used enough in MOCs.
  20. Very nice rockscape. Great ship as well!
  21. Very nice red squad base Jargo. Ugh, the GS sets are still not out here.
  22. Beautiful, both the twisting body of the sand creature as well as the ships.
  23. Wow. This is some serious bovine firepower. Very creative "head" as well.
