That is superb, the bus is spot on, and the pillarbox is brilliant. Great job.

Have searched through this forum but cannot see a definite mention of this, but according to the official LEGO Book just released it states that LEGO will be releasing Disney Cars sets in 2010. I hope so. And sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere.

I am interested, but I am not willing to pay bricklink or ebay prices for what is really only a head, as the other parts of the figure are cheap as chips. Kill Will still has not given me a price for the figure. Any other people willing to sell or trade?

Hi Ryan, nope just after Mr Freeze to complete my batman minifigures collection. Been looking for a while now.

I have been looking for a Mr Freeze minifig for some while now, I was hoping that someone on here has one, or even just the head? I am willing to pay for it or trade. I do not want to pay silly money for one. I have lots of Ninja's, Indiana Jones, Paradisa, wild west, adventurers and city figures to trade. Please reply to this thread, or PM me. Thanks.

Sound's like fun, I'm in it, to win it!

Don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere, i could not see it, but http://www.play.com now do LEGO, and its cheaper and FREE delivery, lots of sets to choose from, mainly Star Wars and Indy, but I am sure more and more sets will be available soon.

Batman figures are so expensive. I am glad I have the complete set now, well minus Bane, who shall be purchased in the next month. I think anyone would be silly to sell them, as they are only gonna go up in value. Sorry Brad.

Not being Sarcastic, but it's StationEry. I'm glad more stores in the uk are doing LEGO, Early Learning Centre also now stock it.

LegoLyons replied to Inconspicuous's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thanks for the review, i did not even know this set existed, I have also been to the museum, and its an amazing building. The set looks good, and the review is great, will have to look out for this on ebay. -
Another Willy Wonka Moc, please go to my flickr page (Lego Lyons ) to view more & bigger images (better). I am still working on my big Wonka factory moc, its taking some time, and still awaiting some bricklink orders. Please leave comments here or add notes on Flickr. Thanks for looking.

Hmmm Well i spent £52 in the bluewater store last week, and did not see any sign of the offer, and I had 2 pick-a-brick cups in that purchase too. Although the guy behind the till did give me an extra loyalty stamp.!

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory MOC
LegoLyons replied to LegoLyons's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I have added some pictures of the cast, including the oompa loompa's. Tell me what you think please. Golden ticket winners & parents. -
I'm just hoping for some new fleshie faces and cool torso's. Other than that, not really interested in this theme as a collector.

Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory MOC
LegoLyons replied to LegoLyons's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Correct. And thanks for sticking up for me. I took references from both the films, and the book too. Um, so does that make the basic lego head > <with the smile a boy or a girl? I look at all heads as uni-sex, I thought it fitted him perfectly, but good observations, so what do you think of the moc, other than not liking the head? Thanks. Wonka was angry as Gloop contaminated his chocolate river. . I am working on the creation as we speak, awaiting some further parts, but have most of the characters done. I'm looking forward to it too. -
Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory MOC
LegoLyons replied to LegoLyons's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Well thanks. The vines are the plastic that comes around these pieces bricklink. As for the head, I have a couple more options, but like this one as its close to the Jonny Depp character. -
I am currently working on a much bigger scene based upon the book Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, but its some way off, some I decided to do a smallish vig/moc. Please let me know what you think. There are more pics and bigger images at my flickr page flickr

Thats pretty neat, looks very playable too. I want one!!
-
Nice. Love the horse part of the statue. Good stuff.
-
Thats so nice. Lime green is such a great colour, at first I also thought it a little small, but hell, not everyone lives in massive houses. Love the roof and the way the porch is incorporated. Great stuff.

Wowsa, that looks epic. I'm so jealous. I agree, the first thing I noticed was how poor the minifigures are, I mean if LEGO can come up with great figures for a £31 set (like Agents Robo Attack), why is a £166 set full of crappy mini figs? How long did it take to build? I would love one of these sets. Great review, pictures and videos. T hanks.

Thats one cool creation. looks like fun, and expertly built. I have to get some agents sets!!

Its simple. If you do not like the price . . . . do not buy it. Or get it when it first comes out then brag when it goes up in price.
