Euroricks Mafia day three: An end to Ricks
TrumpetKing replied to def's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Not once did I say that I thought Zepher wasn't scum. I said I thought that the points against Zepher were stronger. I could have been a little clearer. If you want me to take my vote back, then I will. I just don't think voting for one of the people that I think is scum will get us anywhere if nobody will talk about it. Especially if another one of my suspicions is up for lynch as well. -

Well, I did show my thoughts honestly, and while I would like to see badboy lynched, I'd rather see Big Cam or Zepher lynched. I think maybe Badboy can receive some deeper attention tomorrow, when we have more focus towards others. Today's focus is clearly towards either Cam or Zepher, and my vote against badboy would get us nowhere, and nobody seemed to want to talk about it. It was somewhat just shrugged off, so I decided that today wasn't badboy's day. Maybe tomorrow, but not today. Which I know makes me seem scummy because I was so sure badboy was scum earlier. I still am, but badboy is not a priority. Possibly tomorrow. I just don't see badboy as an ideal lynch target, especially if my accusation towards her will just be shrugged off and ignored. -

I guess so, but I explained it a little bit during that last paragraph. (He seems to be playing the same as the last times, he was townie then, etc.) I just don't think the badboy lynch will work out today, and Sorry, that posted early. I meant that I don't think badboy's lynch will work out today, but it should be something we look at. Do you think I should put my vote back on someone who obviously isn't part of today's agenda? -

Well, it looks like the Badboy lynch won't work out, so I will Unvote: Badboytje88 DarthPotato and I were talking (yes, I do currently have some trust in DarthPotato), and he mentioned that Darth is acting similarly to Police Infiltration and Heartlake, where he was town. I don't know, something seems off about him. I might just go back and look. Something seems different with him. There are accusations flying around everywhere, and I think the most helpful will be Big Cam or Zepher. I feel the exact same about lynching either of them, and quite frankly I feel that the points against Zepher are just a bit stronger, but I think it would be smart to keep an eye out for Cam tomorrow. And it looks like I forgot to Vote: Zepher -

Badboy, it's really scummy to use thinking the mayor won't die that night as an excuse. Why would you want to stay alive? Unless you're a PR, you're scum. It's not bad luck to be mayor. Our last mayor was lynched for scummy behavior. That's just bad luck for him. And for us considering he's town. But not for the mayor role. Even though you're superstitious, you're probably scum. There is no need for a mayor? Look at the tally! 1-1-1!!! I know, a lot of people still need to vote, but who says the votes won't still be tied??? Unless you're somehow paying attention (which it doesn't seem like), you're scum. And I hate to be a dick, but "one valid points" is grammatically incorrect. Did you mean "some valid points"? Or "one valid point"? -
General Discussion and Announcements
TrumpetKing replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
After playing in Heartlake Heartbreak, and while I'm still playing in EB Mafia, I have come to the conclusion that there needs to be a Heroes vs. Villains Mafia (And by Villains, I mean people that play like dicks). If someone were to make that, I can imagine a lot of confusion in the day threads. ("Do we trust the heroes? What if they're actually scum?") Or even better, a game featuring Mafia's most notorious players. The lurkers! -

Well, it isn't horrible for me, since I only buy a few at a time. It would be $20 more to buy a full set, though, which I wouldn't do. They also ordered the GB Minifigures during the summer, but I didn't buy any, they had them for $9 each! I eBay'd the GB figures for $50 USD. I actually plan on reviewing them sometime. -

They have a lot of older sets, Friends sets, and plenty of other themes. They also have a lot of minifigures, not just CMF's but some minifigures out of their original sets. I saw two or three large yetis there, but I didn't see the price. The CMF prices aren't horrible. They are $4 and have been $4 since Series 6, I believe. -

Exactly. It would be easier for a scum to volunteer for mayor and claim town if a townie had already been mayor and gotten killed, because then people might assume that it is a townie thing to volunteer for mayor, giving the scum a perfect opportunity. -
My younger brother bought The Golden Dragon a while ago, and I think I like it more than he does!! There is a lot of really cool articulation, and there are a lot of gold pieces (It is a Golden Dragon, after all). Gold 1x1 round tiles!

This game is frustrating to me right now. I feel all jumbled because there is so much to look out for right now. So far we have quite a huge amount of people accused. I do agree that Zepher is suspicious, but I don't want to quite for him yet. As I stated before, I'd like to get others talking, which is actually pretty hypocritical of me considering I do know I barely talked yesterday. Alopex has basically said NOTHING. At all. I am more than willing to vote for Alopex if it comes to it, because he hasn't been very helpful, IMHO, and he hasn't really said anything worth note. Or at least that is what I have noticed. Another thing that struck me odd was badboy wanting to volunteer for mayor yesterday. That wasn't a very townie thing to do. It would be pretty easy for a scum to volunteer because badboy did say that the mayor would probably attract less attention during the second night. Also, if he was mayor, and if he is scum, he could easily break a tie by getting rid of a townie if a fellow scum was up for lynch. Vote: badboytje88 -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I meant more of a Winter theme. Yeti strikes as a Winter-ish minifigure to me. I must have misremembered with the Mrs. Claus. I still think the list is more-so fake. Even if the series is being released in August and will last until December, I can't imagine TLG wanting to put more than one Winter themed figure in a series. Maybe two at the most. I can imagine maybe one of them coming in Series 11 because Series 11 will be released in September, so there isn't quite a Christmas-y feel to the series, and then maybe one or two in Series 12, since they should be released Post-Christmas, so the Winter-y feel stays. -

Bobakhan Toys and Collectibles in Everett, WA has them. I found out that they got them last night, and today I came in an hour after opening to find out that my brother and I were going to be the first ones to go through the box. Usually the packs are labeled but the guy who labels them was gone when they got here, so my brother and I felt through them. I picked out the Forest Maiden and the Fortune Teller, and my brother grabbed the Plumber and Chicken Suit Guy. The Fortune Teller has been and remains my favorite this series. I was a bit disappointed with the Forest Maiden. She wasn't as exciting as I had anticipated, as with the Plumber, and I was pleasantly surprised with the Chicken Suit Guy, who was my least favorite. He has definitely moved up on my favoritism scale. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
TrumpetKing replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I highly doubt there will be a Series 30, by then they would just be putting a whole bunch of random colored cheerleaders in one series if that were to happen. Why would they make a new Series 1 if they could just continue numerically??? As for this list, I think it is fake. There are waaay too many holiday themed figures for this to be official, IMHO. Why would they release a Gingerbread Man, Yeti, Elf, and Mrs. Claus all in one series, espescially if it is being released in August? -

Hawkman, which LEGO store? Bellevue or Alderwood? -
I believe they are, yes. I got a Kre-O set for Christmas, and the box says that it is compatible with the leading brands, but I haven't tried.

My S@H order came in today. I bought 3 figures, and it's a shame that they had to be random. I got a Cyclops, and 2 Mr. Good and Evils. I love, love, love the cyclops! I wasn't incredibly excited about Mr. Good and Evil when I first saw him, but now that I have him, I actually really like him. This series is looking pretty good! -

You have got to be kidding me! Why have we lost so many townies??? Hopefully Danny was scum, but I doubt it. At least Tammo's curse isn't horrible, we'll still be able to read and understand his posts. Now, when it comes to mayor, badboy, are you still interested in being the mayor? Do you still volunteer yourself. There is definitely a lot of suspicions around here, and I'm actually not sure which suspicions, if any, are correct. I'm a bit less suspicious of Pandora than I was yesterday, but I don't think our attention should be taken away from her. Another person that we should watch out for I think is actually DarthPotato. I feel kind of bad for him, I don't think it really helps that he has played as scum in all of his games so far, but he seems to be playing similarly to his previous games. If he was town, I would think that it would be a little bit more difficult for him, because of the fact that he has never played town before. As stated, Shadows and Zepher are also suspects, but I am also a bit curious of Alopex. He has been really quiet the past few days, and he hasn't really brought a whole lot here in my opinion. However, I feel like I could have added more yesterday as well, so that does contradict my statement. -
Is $25.00 too much for the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow?
TrumpetKing replied to 305Bats's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Well, I guess I would, because I do want the set, but since he doesn't I guess it is some-what worth it. I just don't think I personally would pay $25 for one minifigure. The most I have paid for a minifigure was I believe $12, which isn't horrible, but not great either. However, considering it was a S1 Robot, it was worth it. This is one of those questions where I feel everyone has a different opinion on, and I just don't see it as a fair price for one minifigure. If it were 2 or 3 minifigures, I would definitely jump for it. But definitely not just 1. That is my opinion though. -
Is $25.00 too much for the Arkham Asylum Scarecrow?
TrumpetKing replied to 305Bats's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Ummm.... IMHO, yes, it is way too expensive. I mean, it's a minifigure! Of course, it does come from an exclusive set, but it is still a minifigure! The only one worth buying at an enormous price are the ComicCon ones, such as "Bizarro" and "Shazam!". But that is just my opinion. If you desperately want the figures, then I guess you could go for it, but I would never pay $25.00 for a minifigure that you can get in a set, even if it is one set. -

As with others, Hinck is beginning to appear more townie to me. And I know that the lynch against him won't turn around in an hour, but I will unvote him snyways. If he turns up as scum, I don't care how bad that makes me look, I'm town. It's a risk I'm willing to take. Unvote: Hinckley Vote: Pandora I have been unsure about your affiliation for a while. It might be that I've never played a game with you, but something just doesn't seem right here. I'm not sure that I feel super confident lynching you, but I feel that you are appearing more scummy than Hinck. Oh, and sorry for not being as active today, I've been really busy. -

I'm beginning to think that this lynch might end up being last minute. Personally, I see Scouty's claim to be weird, but after some explanations, I do think that it makes some sense to me. We have had a stronger lead towards Hinckley, even yesterday we did, and I have a stronger feeling towards Hinckley being scum over Scouty. Vote: Hinckley -

Really, I'm not quite sure who's town and who isn't between the two of them. I've been a bit more wary of Hinck for a while, but Scouty's claim is strange. It makes sense, but as Tammo said, I don't think that is what the seer is. -

Poor Mr. Pharaoh..... I can't say that I'm interested in playing, because I''m not, but I do think he should try again with us sometime else. OK, so, since we have a volunteer for mayor, I don't see a huge problem with that, but I am going to hold my vote for a little. I don't want to use my vote so quickly, and though the odds are low, we may see another volunteer. And we are witnessing an argument between Shadows, Hinck, and Pandora now. I think I am much more willing to lynch Shadows or Hinck. Hinck just seems of this game. He isn't acting anything like he did in Heartlake. Oh, and he did say that the vig should kill him if the vig is smart. Were you hinting something there, Hinck? And Shadows is so sure that DD died from the SK, perhaps he knows more than we do? I, personally would probably lynch Hinckley in this situation, partly because I know that this is not how he played as a townie last time, so he is more likely to be a member of the scum than I think Shadows is. -

Evening out the vote can be seen as scummy, because it is just bandwagoning, really. Especially since evening out a vote typically states that you think that person is scummy, but vote for someone else to even things out. It can be found incredibly annoying and strange., since you aren't voting based on your opinion, but just to even things out. And not to mention that evening out the votes may cause a tie, which puts the final vote into the hands of the possibly scum mayor. It appears even more scummy though, because we aren't looking for a majority, but for whoever has the most votes.
