Thanks! Why don't you just try to scan it?

Thank you! Glad that you like it! Thanks! To be honest I have a couple of tan skeletons but can't remember where I've got them. May be you mean pelisse, a similar coat as dolman but with fur trimming, usually worn slung over the left shoulder. In the base I have used brackets like this.

Thank you Oliver! Glad that you like it. I wanted to build something simple and impresive in the spirit of surrealism, something like paintings by René Magritte . For the paving I've used this part Thanks kreimkoek, me too!

Soon I'll have to go to the past to find one petty hooligan - the danger of cats and pigeons, and send his wild energy into the right direction. I need to close this time loop, otherwise he will not become the builder vir-a-cocha, whom you know. Time loop by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr

Pleased to hear that from the person with such a nickname! Thanks guys! In my native town there is a monument the steam train Л-4305. I had a dream to build it for a long time and now all the puzzle pieces came together: I've got drawings and necessary parts and wonderful contest came in time. So it can be said that it is a model of steam train type "Л" in minifigure scale. Of course I had to sacrifice some technical details to save the functionality.

Thanks Capparezza! The point is that prototype tender is very flat so I couldn't add more details. The steamer is not motorized but it easily could be done. I am planning to do so and make videos. The problem is that the locomotive will not pass the regular LEGO turns as it very long. Carebear, glad that you noticed! The lack of women's hats made me to invent something new!

Xmas Steam Train by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr Metropolitan Street Journal Announcement The week before Christmas our correspondent Helena Kuznetsova has visited N town. According to the old tradition the best spruce is being chosen there and sent to the Metropoly to decorate the main square every year. Specially grown tree was carefully packed and loaded to the flatcar. The mayor Mr. Lebedyansky has personally observed the loading process. As the locomotive the L class 2-10-0 freight steam locomotive was selected. It is the best steam train using modern innovations as boxpok-type wheels and steam dryer pipe covered with casing. Very soon the valuable cargo will be on its way to the Metropoly with the highest speed of 53mph. Read more in the evening issue of Metropolitan Street Journal by Helena Kuznetsova. * * * Xmas Steam Train by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr Xmas Steam Train by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr Xmas Steam Train by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr

Perhaps everyone has a place in the world which he would like to visit ... There is such a place for me - it's Mexico! Even as a child I enthusiastically devoured stories about heroes who explore Mexican expanses in search of the mythical El Dorado. They were riding the mustangs wearing ponchos and drinking tequila. Later I came across a book about the ancient Maya, which described how a Russian scientist Yu.V.Knorozov decipher their writing. Since I was interested in ancient civilizations and learned to speak the words "Teotihuacan", "Quetzalcoatl", "Titicaca" and others without hesitation. At the same time the Viracocha nickname appeared. And the third time I met with Mexico while preparing the review of the literature for the PhD thesis. Accidentally I came across an article in IEEE Spectrum "Electric Rainmaking Technology Gets Mexico's Blessing", about the development of Russian scientists which promises to change Mexico's arid climate. And then I decided that I will definitely go there ... What it will be, my Mexico? Mexico by Dmitriy and Anna, on Flickr

LEGO Architecture Local Landmark Contest - Voting
viracocha replied to Peppermint_M's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Entry B - 1 Good fit to Architecture series. Complicated shapes of the prototype are well done. Entry D - 1 My favorite. From the first view it looks simple but the clever technique and engineering hides behind it. Entry H - 1 Something unexpected. Impressed. Sorry guys, there are no more points, good works all! -

Not bad for the first attempt. For the second one I would suggest to pay more attention to the proportions of the head and the whole body. You worked out the front good enough and now the back and buttocks should be pulled up.
