  1. I hope this isn't replacing the exclusive set we usually get at Comic-Con.
  2. "I knew it! Toaster conspiracy!" That was worth it. Can I give you an I.O.U?
  3. Try using 2 or 3 layers of ordinary plates. it doesn't have to be perfect, just hold together and be 8x8.
  4. Sorry to revive a semi-dead thread but I just began playing the game on PC and so far I'm impressed. There are a few graphical glitches, and the VO isn't great, but the gameplay's solid, and I like the setting. Keep in mind these are first impressions, I just got the game today.
  5. Yeah, I kind of did a double-take when I saw his new title.
  6. Crazy Dutch.
  7. Just so you know, I already knew where it was, I just googled "World Map" and circled it on there.
  8. I read this the while ago, and was about to be the first one to comment, then I got side-tracked. Very good review, KimT. I, unlike a lot of people, wanted this set as soon as it was announced, and didn't stray away from it when we saw the first pictures. I also think the stickers would be really annoying, especially on that cone piece that supposed to be the cockpit. Again, great review!
  9. Well played, ETF. I took over Natman8000's role on day seven or eight, and was told I was a converter. I converted Alice, a vigilante. Next I was planning on converting Sir Dillon, but I was told I could no longer use my night action. I could have averted most of this and possibly even won if I had been able to turn Sir Dillon. Shortly afterward, I, along with the other Black Sun members: Alice, ETF, and Quarryman, were told that there was a traitor among us. Someone who was originally an imp/rebel, converted to Black Sun, turned triple agent for the imps/rebels. Me, Quarry, and Alice all thought it was ETF, and we tried to sway the vote that way. Alas, Alice was condemned, and I knew that Sir Dillon would probably watch me that night, and it was possible ETF would kill me. Sir Dillon did watch me, but ETF killed him. Who killed me?
  10. Ooh. Made by "IQ Hong Kong." I'm expecting fairly low quality here, and possibly some lead-based paint. No offense to Chinese people.
  11. Here you are sir. By the way, you'll want to upload them to Brickshelf, not Bricklink. The top three tutorials on that page will explain how. Don't worry, it's easy. I'm just concerned that the folder will not be public by the time the contest is over, and then your entry wouldn't qualify.
  12. Emperor claduis rome, you should deeplink a picture, that is the only way for us to see your entry untill the folder is public.
  13. I received confirmation of my order on May 3rd at 8:50 PM eastern standard time.
  14. Here you go: Hope I didn't disrupt any pie-eating. Oh, and it looks like I beat you Oky!
  15. Bump bumpitty bump bump, bump bump! I really like this, expecially the SNOT lava. You used pretty much just basic bricks, but it still looks great!
  16. Jeez Hinckley, after all that posting trying to get people to be mature. For the record, Darth Legolas said he likes outline mode, so I believe it was your "help" that sucked.
  17. This made me laugh: a yellow beaver with a gigantic dark bley tail! The construction is very good, and nice use of that printed slope. I actually found another use for it: separating bricks!
  18. As others have said, tower raid, drawbridge defense, medieval market village are the best parts packs. If you really need a lot of parts, I would buy multiples of each. But, I agree with everyone else in that PAB is your best bet for cheap, basic bricks in common colours like bley, dark bley, etc. If you have a lego store near you this is a great option. I particularly like the medieval market village as a parts pack, as it has lots of ordinary bricks in uncommon colours like tan and light blue. It also has plenty of window pieces and roof slopes. The actual colour of the buildings don't really lend themselves well to castles, but plenty of the black parts like the windows and slopes do. And, it comes with some great figures to populate a castle with. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing your MOCs.
  19. Awesome work Newright. I actually like the curves and blue accents of the tower, and the foliage is also great. I'm not too crazy about the colour of it though. I think you should have stuck with one colour of green for the leaves, rather than mix two. That's really my only complaint, and it is very minor. Excellent work!
  20. This is great. I especially like the slanted windows, and the brick-built bird on the roof, that was a nice touch. Even after you lowered the ceiling, can an ordinary minifigure still fit in the ground floor? Again, great work!
  21. InSeRT NaMe HeRe, please read these tutorials on resizing images.
  22. @ Pedro: That's an amazing brick-built grievous. But why does he have flowers?
  23. That's a very nice vignette, but please read these tutorials on how to resize images. The maximum size for images is 800 x 600. 640 x 480 is the preferred size.
  24. Mmmmmmmm Chrome Trooper: Lord Vader, may I ask what this is? Vader: It is my new chroming machine. It arrived from ACME corp. today.
  25. A couple of people have actually used chrome vaders in their entries, so if they're allowed, you should be.
