Lego does not have the right to sell Star Wars figures individually. Hasbro alone has that right. That's why TLC does not sell individual SW minifigs. Bricklink has no such limitations, though.

I realize you're new but try not to revive a thread that's well over a month old. Especially if it's not actually a comment on the MOC.

I have some older chrome parts (7-8 years), and they were just in a parts bin for most of that time, which resulted in most of the chrome being flaked off. However, I also have some chrome silver swords, that were not in a parts bin, or even gripped by a minifigure, and they are in great condition. Basically, if you want to keep the chrome from flaking off, you need to refrain from using the piece.

That should be in "Star Wars Sets Anyone?" Oh, and are they selling that book at the SDCC, or do we have to wait till October 10th? Someone said they were selling them early to just the event-goers.

What are they on strike for? Wages? Pensions? Magic beans?

Svelte, I think those are the two funniest consecutive titles I've seen. BTW, Stauder, I noticed your title. I think I may have helped contribute to it.

I'm not currently reading anything. I did, however, just read Guns, Germs, and Steel by Jared Diamond. It was a very long, word-heavy book, but it certainly had very good views on the reasons why societies evolved the way they did, and why Eurasians tend to dominate on a sloped playing field. After that, I read Twilight by Stephanie Mayer. (Opposite ends of the spectrum, I know). This one was a quick, easy read, and, although I liked the story, I found some obvious typos and grammatical errors, and the plot was pretty simplistic. I'll probably start reading the second book, New Moon.

I really think there is no chance of this. TLC is dead set against a military theme. In the beginning, they did not even produce bricks in green because the owner didn't want children to make tanks out of them. Although this could have been because World War 2 had only ended 10-15 years before. You'll notice that lately almost all of themes have conflict, but that conflict is generally a "good side" (human) vs. a "bad side" (some other species). So, TLC will not promote violence between people and they will also not create a theme that depicts something terrible that so many people in the world were, and still are, affected by.
