  1. Wait, so I wasn't hallucinating? Doctor Shadows, did you lie to me? EXACTLY!
  2. I actually like this list! The Battle Packs I am pretty much obligated to buy, they're bound to be awesome. I would much prefer a Tri-Droid rather than a Tri-Fighter, but I'll pobably buy this either way. A TIE defender would be pure win. I missed the first incarnation of the ARC-170, so a new one with three CW Clone Pilots would be very cool. I don't think TLC would release a System-scale Landspeeder, as we already have two. So, I'm hoping this is a smaller UCS set, with about 500-700 pieces, give or take. I would absolutely love that.
  3. I don't know what to say. I was manipulated by Jerry, as others were. He told me he knew an investigator on the town side who had taken a look at Shawn and found him to be scum. I believed him, was manipulated by him. Foolishly, I never doubted him. It seems to me, however, that the father's meatshield theory may be correct. Shawn claimed he is the investigator, and found the money and letter in Jerry's trash. However, we have received confirmation by the runner of this game...of life that Sanders is the investigator. Don't forget that the letter said "I suppose I have no choice but to accept your offer. I'll meet you tonight at the Aventine." And isn't it a coincidence that Shawn, who was in possession of the letter, shows up at the Aventine with Chief Stevens. I believe that Stevens is loyal, and is being blackmailed somehow by Shawn. It all fits. Shawn claims he investigated Jerry, found a letter and some cash, then gets him convicted, diverting suspicion off himself by letting a fellow scum die. But Sanders is the investigator, Sanders has the money and the letter. Shawn blackmails Stevens, gets a letter from him accepting his "offer" of some sort, and says he will meet him at the Aventine. Shawn makes up some cock and bull story about the FBI and how he is our investigator and savior. Jerry gets convicted, Shawn is off scot-free. Did I mention that the mystery man with Shawn and Stevens was most likely a protector on the scum side, who prevented the town vigilante (hatchet-man) from killing him? In case I didn't make it clear I believe Sanders investigated Shawn last night. Which makes sense when compared to what the god of this game...of life said today: There, I've done all I can to help you see the truth. You can vote for me if you wish, but it will be a grave mistake on your part. I am a loyal townie with no night action who was manipulated by scum and is now trying to make up for that slip. Vote: Shawn Imperante/ImperialShadows
  4. That say's a lot about the type of person Zepher is.
  5. I worded that wrong: Why am I a woman?
  6. Yeah, they almost always do tie-ins like that. I don't know why mine had to be a woman's name, but whatever.
  7. This is the first of what will hopefully become a series of vignettes. In this first one, two Padawan learners are sparring with training lightsabers, while a jedi master looks on and corrects mistakes in form, stance, and fighting technique. On to the pictures: Overview: Without Figures: Side View: Eww...SNOT! The Minifigures: A Master and two Padawans Let me know what you think! C&C welcome.
  8. Great idea for a topic. I'll be off to Toronto the weekend of the 7th, 8th, and 9th, with no internet as far as I know.
  9. I'm in Southern Ontario, near Ottawa. Which of those sets were you looking for?
  10. I remember this thread! I might buy an impulse or two and see how well I fare!
  11. I got 7195 Ambush in Cairo, as well as the 7778 Midi-Scale Falcon. Both very cool. I might have a review of the Falcon up in a day or two.
  12. I've just been to my local Wal-mart, and they had some of the new SW and Indy Jones sets, as well as Space Police 3. For Indy, they had the Venice Canal Chase and Ambush in Cairo (got it), for SW they had the Separatist Shuttle, the Midi-scale Falcon (got it) and the Corporate Alliance Tank droid. I should have a review of one of the sets I got up within a day or two.
  13. I agree Jim and Striker, that was an awesome day. When you get right down to it, the best part of a mafia game is when a few people just start arguing and never seem to stop. I'm glad I was one of those people, even though I was wrong. EDIT: Oh yeah, did you guys notice that TinyPiesRus said Jim was killed with a revolver in the end? Wanna take a guess who it was? EDIT 2: I also found it funny that almost all the people near the top of yesterday's "top 20 posters" list got on there from posting so much in the day 3 game thread.
  14. That could become as popular as the red Vader helmet! Where are these prototypes?
  15. Very good day three. I was convinced that Jerry was loyal, but I was made certain of otherwise by pming a few people. However, it was too late to change my tune in the game thread.
  16. It was Siegfried.
  17. Seriously? You post a new thread when there is a pinned one directly above it?
  18. Vote for Shawn, then, and find out where his loyalties lie.
  19. You would condemn an innocent man to death so you could go to sleep earlier?
  20. Robert, don't go down the same road as all the others. Is it better to side with an honest towns person, or someone who has tricked us before?
  21. Donald, it may seem as though me, Artie, and Zita are simply scum supporting a soon-to-die townie to divert suspicion, that is flat-out not true. I realize that if Jerry is killed and turns out as scum, there will be somewhat of a target on my back, but I can guarantee you I am a loyal town-member.
  22. I'm pretty sure there's only one investigator. The scum have no use for one, and the town having two would make the game pretty easy.
