Lego Technic Motor Fan
filefolders replied to Blitz's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Yes, it's pretty neat. Thanks to gears, every time the crank is spun 360* the fan blades spin 125 times, I beleive. -
Why are your police trying to stop the anti-clone protest? Do they support Megabloks?!?!?! The horror!

As soon as I get home I'll find it and take some pictures. Now where did I put that fan? *Edit, 4/16/08* Here is a video of it that I made with my crappy Web camera. -

Lego Technic Motor Fan
filefolders replied to Blitz's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I made a Technic and System hybrid fan once but it was not motorized, it had a lot of gears and spun fast enough to throw pieces off. -
I may try it, sounds kind of fun.

How did you become a Pirate LEGO Fanatic?
filefolders replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
Well I always had LEGO, and I got my first pirate set back 'round the turn of the century, maybe '98. It was the Armada Sentry. My LEGO purchases really increased around age 10 or 11 when I was very interested in space and started buying Star Wars LEGO. LEGO actually got me into Star Wars. A couple thousand plastic bricks later my sister's ex-boyfriend foolishly gave me his LEGO, including two small Pirates sets. I found this forum and saw what I missed out by being born a few years to late and fell in love with Pirates. Yesterday, I bought the Imperial Flagship form Medievalego's bricklink store and am eagerly awaiting it's arival. Hurry up stupid post office. -
What do you do with your ships after you build them?
filefolders replied to SkaForHire's topic in LEGO Pirates
I always play with my LEGO (sans Bionicle). LEGO is a toy and toys are meant to be played with. LEGO is not are hence the fact that it is not sold at art galleries. -
The bloody backs look more soldiery because they are intimidating. Lobsters ON!

EBRP General Information and Character thread.
filefolders replied to Khorne's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm guessing machine gun weilding time traveling future people are not allowed. Or aliens. Does my character have to be an adventurer or can it have a regular job? -
I used to play with them, my sisters would only play with the Throw-Bots and Bionicles with me, not system. It was probably for the best as my older sister still breaks any system creation she touches. They now sit in a box within a box in my room.

Or enough to fill up your car in three years! *tongue*

I find it interesting that LEGO will not say that the figures from the current sets are Nazis but they say that yes, these are Soviet soldiers. Didn't the Communist Russians kill off more people than than WWII Germany did? Oh well, I am frequently wrong. Do not hesitate to call me stupid if I am wrong again.

Thank the God(s) for Tuesday Morning. I got the Bat Copter and Tank not to mention that Avatar ship, looks pretty nice modded, for at most 90 American dollars. Cheap LEGO on!

Filefolders is a name I've had for at least four years. I was at my friend's house when he wanted me to sign up for a game called RuneScape. This friend had had a box of file folders under his family's computer desk for years and it caught my attention whenever I saw it so the name Filefolders can be see in various places across the Internet.

Mocpages user steals creations!
filefolders replied to Stealth Hunter's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I left a review on a jeep thing just so people would know that it was not his. He promptly deleted the review which only proves that I was correct. Losers. :-| -
Star Wars is my main forte but I like the Indy sets with the Not Nazis in them. I needed someone to oppose my army. I buy the military looking Batman sets on sale and I am trying to get into pirates. Castle and modular buildings are good too. So, in order it would be Star Wars, Indy, and Castle and Pirates, then the modular buildings.

Interactive Apocalypse Part 4: Where Loyalties Lie
filefolders replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
We have already betrayed Regenald. We need to decidide what kind of person we are now before it is too late. I am curious as to how you would make a leg wheel on a LEGO figure. -
I made one before the movie came out that looks a lot like this. It's the only Golden Compass creation on MOC Pages.

Which Pirate LEGO faction do you support?
filefolders replied to Col. Whipstick's topic in LEGO Pirates
Ah, so you are the reason that it costs a fortune to buy a handfull of soldiers. *sigh* :'-( I voted for the blues but the Islanders came in a close second. -
