  1. What was the quality like on the other pieces? Hair/Swords e.t.c?
  2. Well, I'm back, and I have a lot of catching up to do! I think I will have to pass on round 3. I would certainly not want to enter something that I wasn't satisfied with. Perhaps I can build something as a free build later.
  3. Hey everyone, sorry for the inactivity, I have been away visiting my Grandmother. On that note, I don't think I will get an entry up for Round 3. I'm back at home until Sunday, before I head back up to my Grandmothers. She is really sick right now, so me and my family are staying with her to look after her. I'll see what I can do about an entry, but it probably won't be up to the standard that I like, in which case I won't post it. I still haven't ordered all the parts I want for the various charterers in the build, so that doesn't help particularly either.
  4. I would like to claim plot 70 for a house.
  5. Dark Green, although I probably won't use him with a cape very much.
  6. Please excuse the corner. I'll take a better picture tomorrow. Anyway, allow me to re-introduce Zach Sapphire, now sporting a healthy yellow tan that he got while sunbathing down in Kaliphlin. He is surrounded by other Avalonians.
  7. I feel really disconnected from the group, no thanks to the fact that it's assessment week at school. Quick question guys. I noticed in the Albion thread that next to no one has Reserved land for houses. Have I missed something? If not, is it okay if I take lot 70 for a house?
  8. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten about Kaliphlin! I had pretty distinct ideas about how I wanted to make everyone, but that kind of inspiration never hit me for Kaliphlin, so I left them out at this stage. I do have an idea now, however.
  9. Just because he can cut down an Orc, doesn't mean he can take out a target under the noses of the guards.
  10. Heheh, that dwarf is no dwarf, just a Mitgardian who is partial to beards!
  11. I take my pictures in sunlight, with macro. 'Tis a dark art I picked up from the deepest depths of the Flickr dimension. Thanks man, I look forward to your entry!
  12. Quick warm up for round 3, built on a lazy Saturday, photographed on a gray Sunday, and posted on an unproductive Thursday. The three characters are all from different guilds. I liked how Derfel had a team of 4 in his initial moc, so I have decided to use a team of adventures, one from each guild, in my challenge moc. The three here are my SigFig, and 'prototypes' of the Mitgardian, and the Nocturnian.
  13. I really like this building! I can see a bit of a lip just above the door. I think it would look quite cool if you continued that all the way around, and then swapped out the majority of the gray above it for black. Do you by chance have a Flickr account? I would love to favorite this picture, for future reference.
  14. As much as I like it, no. It works well with the combo I have now, but it looks terrible with a yellow head on it. I'm going to use the castle torso that is a sand green vest over a gray body. Where in Wellington are you?
  15. Wellington. How about you? I have everything coming in a BL order soon. I intend to update my character, and make him yellow.
  16. Something just came to mind. Does the guild have an official uniform standard? Most people seem to be using a kingdoms torso with one dark green arm and one light green arm, with a standard tall helmet, but should I consider this official?
  17. This is really awesome, it's great to more moc's that don't have anything to do with the war. I really love all the little details, and the positioning of the minifigures, it absolutely make the scene come to life. Why are you going to take it down?
  18. That works. Alternatively, we could make the ancient part a small section on my side, with the rest of the forest being pine.
  19. Getting a good design design down for trees is going to be hard, but I'll give it a go. if your updating the map, do you think you could extend the forest above Albion so that it meets the water at the water at the peninsula, and then as far down as where the lake comes closest to the forest, and then fill in the area up to the river? If that doesn't make sense, I could do a quick photoshop. I would really appreciate the edit.
  20. Admittedly, I have not, would you explain them? I didn't find much on Google. Anyway, with that, I imagine we will be great neighbors! Actually, between the 2 of us, we make up the forest, so I feel confident that we can decide the content in it. I'm thinking the outer layer could be pine trees, and then towards the center, everything gets more ancient, with Alchemy ingredients becoming more common, something like this. And more towards my side I guess, we could include ruins? And with ruins of course, comes the sweet scent of treasure.
  21. It will be interesting. On the north of the road, there will live a wizard who believes the forest is a source of great magic, and on the south, a village who earn their living by cutting it down. I guess we will see how things go!
  22. I have claimed the area where the water comes close to the forest. How big/where exactly are you going to build your village? I sort of have plans for the forest myself, so if it's possible, could you use the area below the road?
  23. Heheh, I noticed that Quinn had popped up in a few of your builds, and assumed that you would reveal her as your characters love interest. I was quite wrong!
  24. That works. I guess I should get to work. I feel like I need to do a bit of catching up anyway, not having any solid builds to show for myself thus far. I got started with what seemed like a reasonable place to start, and built part of an Avalonian house. Once my box of light gray studs gets here from Germany, I should be able to post it.
