  7. Well in the Video Jamie says that the designer (Steen Anderson) wanted the set to look like it has just bean in a "Snow Storm" and that this was one of the challenges for the set. The side building is a tool shed and the igloo has a stove inside (as a joke) Also the plow of the truck can be removed and placed on the back! The lamp post is the same one used in the Modular Building series but now available in black.
  8. This is not about the catalogue! This is about the Catalogue as a .pdf file!
  9. The side building is for cutting firelogs which can be seen on the side of the building there is a small oilcan and hatchet inside the building. As for a train station would be nice but I dought we will see one any time soon..... a lot of people would complain that they don't have a train to go with it! and the Holiday train has gotten out of reach for most people with a price range from $300-$600.
  10. The German retail catalog (not S@H) is available as a 11MB .pdf file. I have not seen this available for other countries but maybe TLG is just testing this! Think its a great idea hope other countries are available soon! as well as being able to download the S@H version!
  11. OOOOOH! Nice really like your MOC! the details are amazing, would love to see this in person, but a great job on that station!
  12. GRogall's HR image set of the day! 10229 Winter Village Cottage all pics link to HR version 2400+ .pxl Enjoy! :caroler:
  13. I have my Studnet worm going through TLG database right now!
  14. Here the first HR official image of.... Build a LEGO brick model of this famous modernist-style country house residence! Situated on the outskirts of Paris, France, Villa Savoye was designed by Le Corbusier in the 1920s as the perfect embodiment of Le Corbusier's "Five Points" construction principles. This fusion of modern architecture and nature was intended to create harmony with Villa Savoye's woodland surroundings. Just like the real thing, this set features columns, functional roof space, open floor planning, long horizontal windows and a free facade. This LEGO Architecture series interpretation of Villa Savoye was designed by German architect Michael Hepp in collaboration with the LEGO design team. LEGO Architecture Villa Savoye •Interpretation of real-world architectural icon Villa Savoye •Booklet included with details on design and history •English language only; other languages available for download •Measures: 3.6"H (9.2cm) x 7.5"W (19.2cm) x 6.7"D (17.6cm) Picture links to HR version +2400.pxl 21014 Villa Savoye Enjoy! :classic:
  15. Please add +1 for WetWired. Thanks again for the trade!
  16. Agree, The Minifigures are not what make me buy these sets, although, the carolers in the Toy Shop where well done! I really like the colour combinations that TLG uses in these sets, and why the Winter Village Bakery is my favorite. I'm anxiously awaiting the Winter Village Cottage and have enough VIP points saved up to get one for free! This series is a nice way to end the year!...
  17. An excellent version of the STS launch platform! I really like the details in your MOC! great work
  18. Thanks for posting, strange that they would change the graphics on the box in the middle of a production run and then make a mistake!? maybe they where produced before the set went to market corrected the error, and stored the incorrectly printed boxes away. Than when they produced another run they accidentally grabbed some of these misprinted boxes.......
  19. Sorry; But the fairy will not be a part of the set! I was making a visual joke!
  20. A Winter Village fairy told me!
  21. And I wanted to give all my points to: Oky 3 points
  22. The set will have 1490 pieces and retal for $99.99, €89.99. If we look at the piece count...... 815 (10199) Winter Toy Shop 687 (10216) Winter Village Bakery x2 would be 1.374 822 (10122) Winter Village Post office 1490 (10229) Winter Village Cottage This set has more then double the number of pieces then the Bakery! Must be Huge!
  23. is it possible to show a picture of the box?
  24. Brickset user Sidersdd has posted the first picture of the package! Looks like a nice set!
