    Could you replace the axle joiner under the diving ring with a smooth joiner? Also the smooth joiner has two flat sides and two round sides.

    Is there a fix for the unimog tilting slightly to the left due to the weight of the battery box. I don't see where else I could put the BB. Is it possible to move it towards the centre a bit or maybe add some weight to the other side.

    I don't think 9398 has much to offer. 8110 and 8043 had many functions and were a technical advance from past models, with 9398 it's like they've gone backwards. It doesn't have other functions other than driving (which it does very well). Where as past models that aren't even flagships have had gearboxes 9398 doesn't have one that we know of. 9398 falls short of what Lego technic has been known to produce.

    $289.99 is cheap compared to other flagships in Australia which cost over $300. Seeing as our dollar is almost the same as the US one it is not really fair.

    I think Unimog is better than the crawler as it has more functions and crawler uses basically the same chassis as Unimog. I hate the gap too.

    I wasn't intending to use it for anything just that it might be more realistic.

    Would it be possible to run pneumatic pumps and cylinders with water instead of air. I think it would work and might even be less bouncy.

    Very nice. How did you do the fire engine, was that done with a pneumatic pump.

    Sometimes it can be more convenient to run a hose than a driveshaft to the location of the linear actuator or pneumatic cylinder that controls the function.

    I thought they were hard springs but it seems to ride and drive very well. It also looks great, are they the panels from the Unimog?

    I like the windscreen angle now. I have. No idea how you can replicate those curves.

    Has anyone moved the crane to behind the cab so then you could have something else on the rear. I don't have the parts but it would require a pto, ppto on the top.

    I think you should move the bottom of the windscreen forward a stud or two.
