I've added a poll for you. In response to the question: I will NEVER favor POTC sets over Classic Pirates. If we get Pirates back again soon, I will be very angry if TLG decides to do yet another licensed theme to replace our beloved sets. True, I would prefer having POTC rather than no Pirates, but I'm always partial to the good old yellow minifigs. Plus, if we do get POTC, we'll have a big fight with Svelty and Shadows over who gets to have the theme in their forum.

I think you guys will have fun with this. I'm looking forward to seeing some great entries, let's show TLG how great the Pirates theme is!

What disturbs me is that just last year when Pirates were announced to return, as I recall, someone from LEGO said that it was an obvious thing to bring back, "as it is one of our evergreen themes" (as far as I remember). Now they scrap it, and say Space, City and Castle are the main themes... Very frustrating indeed. But, let's keep CP alive and well while our favorite theme "takes a break".

Dear TLG, We need Pirates back. It's a great theme that seemingly has sold well, and we don't need POTC fleshies contaminating our favorite theme.

I still think we'll get a sort of "final sha-bang" in January.

I firmly believe that we will get sets in the Summer of 2010. TLG is most likely just holding them off until then as there are so many other themes coming out in January. Hopefully this means that we will get a big wave next Summer. I kind of have a gut feeling that we'll get something cool in January though...

I really would like to know what TLG's reasoning behind this is... It just doesn't make any sense to do this 2 years in a row. The Castle one was obviously well-received, so why would they not want to fix their mistake from last year? Any chance of finding out O' Great Ambassador?

You're just loading our index up aren't you? This is a lovely review of a very nice set. Sure, it has more colors than a rainbow in an arcade, but it has some nice features and great minifigs. I love the sails and the nice Armada emblem on it especially. Thanks for the review! I'll index it.

Tough choice... I definitely love bagels, but unfortunately there aren't any really good bagels places where I live. But toast is also very good. I love with a little butter and some tomato slices on top. Eggo Waffles are one other thing that I like once in a while.

It definitely seems that TLG is doing a much better job this year of keeping sets secret, in all themes. We haven't seen any leaked pictures yet, which I think is fine. It adds to the suspense and excitement a bit.

Hmm... In general I like a bit of a lighter texture. Too much richness is not good for people like WhiteFang, as he gets a bit hyper. I do like to add a touch of vanilla sugar, as it gives the ice cream an interesting flavor. I REALLY like to add Raspel Schokolade, or Schoko Streusel on top for added fun. Whipped cream is fantastic as well. Make sure to put it in a festive bowl for Hinck, we all know how he needs extra fun in his meals. Are you going to make Stracciatella Eis as well? I feel that that goes very well with Erdbeer. Make sure to be generous with the chocolate in it, because I've had many Stracciatellas with not enough Schokolade. Let me know if you need any more advice. Just make a new thread in the cooking forum. Wait, I wasn't supposed to give away that new forum was I?!
