Fantastic work. I love the cheery color scheme and the smooth design and curves. How did you transition from the sideways bricks to the studs-up bricks under the hotel, and how did you attach the little "islands" where the cars drive by? Again, great job, I really like this.

Good point with better/larger MOCs taking a longer period of time to complete. I have experienced this myself; I have been working on a train station for about a year now, and sometimes it is just difficult to get yourself to finish. In a way, I agree that making a WIP topic wouldn't be a bad idea sometimes, as long as members try their best to see the projects through to the end. This is a good discussion.

For me, I generally don't make SW MOCs because I prefer using my imagination to create new things, rather than trying to replicate something that has already been made in one way or another. Why is that? I think we would enjoy seeing them.

Well, so far this is an isolated incident, so I would wait to see if anything like this actually happens again before worrying too much. I still think it looks more like TLG worded its decision in a way that appeased the accusers while still keeping its original plans. As the article said, originally they wanted production halted immediately, but TLG didn't give in to that. This leads me to believe that if this happens again in the future, TLG isn't going to be in as bad of shape as you think.

I would suggest calming down a bit. This really isn't as big of a deal as you are making it out to be, especially seeing as we don't know the whole story and how much is true (I only read through the article briefly for what it's worth). The article is written is a strange way to me, and frankly doesn't make a whole lot of sense. LEGO is certainly not the first toy to depict this particular part of Star Wars, so I find it hard to believe that TLG would feel forced to comply. Plus, the set would probably be discontinued in 2014 anyway as others have said, and that coupled with the fact that there is no statement from TLG itself in the article makes me feel that this is not the whole story. Anyway, while I completely agree with you that complaints about the set are unfounded and silly, you've made your point, and I don't want this thread to get out of hand with advertisements for protest groups. I realize that in the past just text was accepted, but I think everyone will enjoy it more with pictures. I'm sure there are quite a few. I haven't gotten mine yet either, but I live in the U.S., so things from Europe typically take at least a week to arrive and it's only been about 6 days. I don't know where you live, but I wouldn't worry yet.

Sure! You should have it now. As for your question, you can only have 4 tags at once, and to put in more I would have to splice a few tags together in Photoshop, so I don't want to go through the hassle of that again. Plus, I don't like having too many tags, since I prefer a "streamlined" look.
