Oh, I just read the OGD, and you're correct. Nope, it's another Rahi.

I don't mind the current size of the titans or canisters, but I'd like the small sets to shrink a little, maybe to the size of the Metrutoran (if the next small sets are Matoran which I doubt) and more complicated-ness. I loved the Mahritoran. The Kardatoran look nice, but they're pretty bland in terms of pieces. How do you know? As far as I remember, no Rahi like that has appeared in FoF.

It looks nice, better than I thought it would be. I would like to get it, but probably don't have the money to spare.

*points to Toa Mata* Anyway, I didn't like any of the Inika masks, except maybe the Iden. Kadin might've been nice without that grin, Suletu's nice for a frog, maybe I would've liked it if it was symmetrical and didn't have that scaly growth, Calix and Sanok look just weird to me and I hate them, and the Elda has a mustache. I liked Jaller Mahri's mask. It looks noble, but almost commanding too, which fits Jaller. Hahli's follows the same idea as the Kaukau Mata, a partially (or completely) transparent mask that sort of resembles a streamlined diving helm. The box pic of Kongu's mask reminded me of the Miru, but not really in real life. Too bulky for Kongu, maybe with a redesigned mouthpart. Matoro's looks weird in the box, less so in the set (but still a little strange to me, like bug-eyes), I just don't like Hewkii's, and Nuparu's reminded me of him in a strange way.

Yes, I don't think I've seen that solution for a backwards Piraka torso. But I'd wish that they'd kept one idea from the prototype: Make his torso armor silver. Or better yet, make the armor more Nuva-like. Are there any others? I know there's a white Vamprah, and a black Pohatu. Any others (with pics, please)?

I took three different Gali hooks from different years: the blue one from Gali, the silver one from Nivawk, and the silver one from Vamprah. Vamprah's seems lower-quality plastic, a tiny bit more rubbery. It's more transparent. And it's constantly falling out. So yes, the quality is falling.

Well, all of my long double-sockets in lime snapped when I took them off Hahli Mahri except one, and one of my short double-sockets on Ehlek in lime snapped. But in the new ones, it's a black short double-socket that snapped. But I've heard people saying that their orange-yellow sockets from Ignika snapped, dark bley from Solek, and a bunch of other '08 sets. So I would say it's safe to assume that in the old sockets, the problem was the new lime sockets (not the ones before like Keelerak and Nui-Rama), but in the new (and IMO inferior) sockets, it's more of a general problem that's happening to many of the new sets, regardless of color.

My Phantoka joints are weaker, causing Antroz and Chirox in particular to collapse on display. And one of my Vamprah joints just snapped :(. I think I'm anti-new-joint. What was wrong with the old ones? And the new ones remind me of the Bionicle bootlegs.

Great review, and it looks better to me. But how much was it? And the Space Justice?

I think the reason they weren't at ToyFair is because they're store exclusives, and TLC doesn't show exclusives at ToyFair (well, at least they do that for Bionicle...)

Hmm. Krika looks better than before, Bitil looks worse, but now I can see he has a double-jointed neck. Gorast looks retarded now, and Takanuva has empty shins! Why didn't they fill them?! And his mask now looks more like a Jutlin than the Avohkii. I wish they'd kept the earlier version. The Toa look better in those poses, but I still think they're utter crap, so I won't get them. Rockoh still looks the same, meaning a lunchbox, Jetrax looks less skeletal, and Axalara's top fin looks weird to me now. So I'm definitely getting Krika, probably Bitil, Takanuva, and Jetrax, maybe Gorast and Axalara, slim chance for Rockoh, and a definite no for the Toa.

Oops, I didn't notice his banner X-D :-P . But Greg said that '09 would have a '01 feel. Then again, with Greg, that could mean a lot of things.

Say, are you Wrinkledlion-X from BZP? Your avatar and the stuff you've posted, I've seen it before in the OGD. Anyway, Miserix's character and personality is already established, so I'm wondering why they would ask them to write an essay. Maybe they're going to use the idea for another character.

I hope it's not like this model. No offense to Jason Stroud if you're reading this, but I fail to see why that model was chosen. It's just a Toa Hagah with Nivawk's legs, a tail, weapons, and a messed-up color scheme. I'm hoping for a model that doesn't look quite as evil as the Phantoka and Mistika. I know he's still evil, but I've imagined him as less evil, a little more held-back. And no guns.

The only resemblance I can see is the three slashes in the cheek, like the Hau Mata. The Hau Mata and Hau Nuva (and Hau Metru, a little) look like they're fierce warriors, while the Hau Mistika looks like a quiet, sneaky type of guy. I personally think that with some mods, the Av-Matoran masks would've served as better masks for the Mistika. Oh yeah, I liked the new comic too. But the Templar animations were the greatest.

I saw those on eBay. The 501st pack went for over 90 USD worth in AUD. They're the best clones I've ever seen. If only TLC made them so well.

I don't think you understand, it's been confirmed by Greg, writer of Bionicle, that the only two summer Matoran are Mazeka and Vultraz, both of which come with vehicles. He's been wrong, but he's usually right about these kind of things. Besides, it's the same pose as Tanma, you can see lime, and if you zoom, he's holding air katanas, which are what Tanma has. see this huge pic.

I think storyline-wise, the Matoran don't go into the swamp. I think they're there just to show the connection points. Ikki: No one knows. Except Greg. Is it just me, or is there some silver spot on Takanuva's left foot (the one under the Midak arm).

I don't like "Teridax". I think I'll refer to MoMN as Makuta.

I'd like to see the prototype pics. I'm still wondering if the original prototypes had launchers. But this ninja-preference for focus groups is intriguing me. Maybe TLC will make the next canisters ninja-styled. I won't mind, as long as they don't label them as Toa and label them as spy-style good guys and they don't look too-ninja-like.
