Hi! Enjoy! How long will you be staying? I get to travel to ISrael quite often because of work. In August , I will be traveling to Las Vegas because of a Star Trek convention.

Hi! Enjoy! I've been to Israel quite often already because of work. How long are you going to stay there? What are you planning to do? To remain on topic: Today I worked. In th evening I had supper (D'oh) and then I solved some riddles (sudoku & stuff) while watching TV. Currently I browse the web (and should go to bed ...).

Hi! Nice to see a rebel blockade runner with the stickers still intact. Mine looks rather patchy nowadays. Cool! What an opportunity. I pay a visit to Vienna once every year, btw. You don't have cuddly bear cubs, do you? I have managed to infiltrate the livingroom with some LEGO. But my wife has already infiltrated it with her stuff as well, so we are even.

Hi! Two thirds of the current entries so far subject a hapless Exoforce minifig to the chamber. Having some Space suppplement (aka Exoforce) sets in the pipeline, I wonder whether it may become canon to let Exoforce figs languish/suffer/roasted/get subjected to a sound slab with a 60 lb UNIX manual in this vig scenario. At any rate I think I will build a vig, fire up the digicam (uhm, where did I place it ...) and post an entry before that deadline.

Hi! IANAL, but since it was a stolen item, I don't think that insurance will cover it.

Hi! Depends. I don't think it is that much by the hour. The meticulous work must be quite time consuming. EDIT: See posting above mine. The price is quite reasonable IMO.

Hi! Nice one; it made me chuckle indeed.

Hi! A set of AFOLS A box of AFOLS A load of AFOLS A kindergarten of AFOLS ;-)

Hi! Now, that's a good idea (I should get that set now ;-) ).

Hi! It's LEGO's rendition of the Get Along Gang, see here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Get-Along_Gang. (However the Get Along Gang was only aired for one year, talking about popularity ...)

Hi! I've got a wife. I.e. in such a situation (which might come up soon because we might need to move), making the home comfy will be the chief priority. When I was single, I procrastinated stuff in favor of my hobbies, leaving me with some makeshift solutions turning into steady-state ...

Hi! See my sig. Actually, this name fits the nature of LEGO quite nicely. Initially I chose it because of computer graphics; I also react to being called "voxel" ;-) (from another forum with RL meetings).

Hi all! What other kinds of construction toys do you have besides LEGO? Or does it have to be LEGO, LEGO, and LEGO only? What did you have as a child? As a kid, I also enjoyed building with Fischer Technic. However, at the beginning of my Dark Ages, this and LEGO were shelved away (or, uhm, sold ...). I had to turn 30 to come back to LEGO (in the meantime several more years have passed), and along with it came an entire realm of stuff that did not exist during my childhood. The reason is that, aside from LEGO, I am a real sucker for geometric construction toys that allow for polyhedron resp. polytope construction. Thus I also have Geomag (not the girlie stuff currently featured on that web page), Supermag (similar to Geomag but with sheres & bars in different sizes resp. lengths), and Polydron (and some other stuff). Im am currently contemplating to get zometool for more refined polydron construction (and of coure, I have worked with cardboard and other crafts material, already during my Dark Ages).

Hi! Functionalitywise in this forum we are looking at true ranks: a property of ranks is that any arbitrary lower rank has a subset of rights of any arbitrary higher rank. Besides, in forums that is the common denomination. With user groups (e.g. computer users), it normally is different. The rights of two arbitrary groups may intersect, but one is not necessarily a subset of the other (in theory computer user groups may also comprise a rank system, but no one would call it by that name). Anyhow: after all the wording does not change the functionality, so whether someone talks about user groups or ranks in this forum, there will be no misunderstanding. P.S.: Good thing there is no rank of bondsmen ;-)

Hi! Nice job! The wheels are indeed realistic (the real thing in my living room has in fact brass wheels). The only thing that's missing are the pedals, but that's OK with respect to the scale. Well they would actually be in scale for a carillon ;)

Hi! When at the pc, I enjoy the stillness of the room (and the humming of the ventilation); for my taste there is already too much noise in my everyday life. Normally I leave the speakers switched off.

Hi! Because of the Oreos? Well, I know one or two places that have them on stock. But aside from that we have some equivalents, at least in terms of layers, to which this test is easily applicable.

Hi! Make that 2/10 (at 13.99 EURO) :-X

Hi! I've also used the pillowcase method in the washing machine. Rather than using an extra blanket, I fill the machine with normal laundry and use a normal washing program at 30 or 40 -
Hi! I do not have any so far. If I had any, depending on their amount I might use them as support structures (i.e. similar to overly used LEGO bricks). However, some posts show a rather fanatic point of view, which I do not share at all. I may not care for Megabloks, but my attitude towards the toy itself is indifferent. For young children it will probably not make any difference; the fun of playing with toys is all that matters (when I was a kid, I mixed Play Big with Playmobil figures and did not care either). We AFOLs can choose (and yes, we chose Lego!), but there is no need for me to be overly religious about my choice.

Hi! Try ePay. I found it there for 38 euro (and picked up two of them). Nice price for loads of nifty material. -
Hi! I voted that I like them both. However I do not like that LEGO replaced grey by bley, because both colors do not mix well.
-
Hi! Definitely. Get two sets in case you like the model as well as the parts of their own.
-
Hi! Indeed. Make that rabbit hair, though. Anyhow - storing stuff in glass cabinets helps alleviating two outta three (take a guess which ones ;-) ).

Hi! Among the first sets I had were: and
