Hell, I happen to have a spare deoxys you could get if you wanted :-P There are some advantages to living in New York ya know, like all the giveaways ;-)
-
I bought some really nifty Arealight pieces (only three so I could see the quality for myself, but I already placed another order!) I got an obi-wan ish hairpiece, flamearmor, and white hair. If anyone wants I can take pictures and do a little review of them ;-) Fantastic parts though

:-/ I don't remember there being so many bionicle ball-joints before...and they look so fragile...and did they take the skeleton out of the set? :'-( I like the trans neon-green ball thing, so I might get that, but for the rest I'll just Bricklink the torsos :-/

Damn that looks fun...I want one and I'm not even a train fan :-D

From what I understand, you slip a third gen cart in the GBA slot, then you can "catch" the pokemon on that team in the pal park with masterball-ish park balls. They are exact copies of the ones in your GBA carts. This bypasses the problem of not being able to trade over pokemon that either didn't exist in third gen, or have new items attacked, or have different moves, or have a new ability

Actually I've occasionally seen Bloody Jay browsing the boards. Er, count me in as well X-D

Yeah, but that's not exactly air-tight, and I think he's asking for an exact fit...which sadly doesn't exist yet

Now that is a great extension! :-D

Halloween 06: What has scared you the most
Starwars4J replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's Astral Projection/Travel. My ex was quite good at it, I never really tried that though... -
Well naturally you'd need to use it on an angle (as most space-oriented MOCs do). Though I don't think that piece would work, as there's that little notch at the front, disallowing a total curve

Halloween 06: What should Halloween be?
Starwars4J replied to Zane's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Zane, I actually voted for a bit of both. I mean what isn't made better by a BIT of the second? Our fondest memories of Halloween are from when we were children, going trick-or-treating together, showing your costumes (which weren't always "scary") to your friends, and just breaking free and having fun! But of course Halloween needs a scary aspect, otherwise it's not Halloween *skull* -
Happy Birthday you two! Pirate sets and Star Wars sets all around :-D

Well, interestingly enough I have to say my favorite sword is your (by now famous) ski-mod sword. I think it's because it used modded official pieces that makes it look more official (something which I do like). Also, you find your spray at Walmart? Is that the best place to get it that you know? What brand do you use? Also, while I'm on a torrent of rapid questions, where do you buy your sculpy from? I've been meaning to give it a try, but I don't know where would be best (no hobby shops around here that I know of) Keep up the great work, and good luck with the auction! With quality pieces like this, I don't think anyone minds the threads one bit ;-)

That's called "Hero Luck" ;-)

Very nice, though the hair looks somewhat more malleable than the Goku hair, was it made differently? I didn't even notice the wristband until you mentioned it though, excellent detail! :-D And for some reason I like your old sword better, the handguards look a bit too long, and it just looks too thick in general as compared to the sword blade (which I would have thought would be thicker and sharper a bit at the blade edge). Nice handle though :-) The shoulder guard is perfect though @_@ Overall great fig that I'm sure will satisfy any FF7 fan. And I'd be jealous too if I were your Cloud :-P (it's really excellent work)

A 1000 piece Galidor MOC :-D
-
This will be fantastic, it'll be great to have a nice community here to battle and trade with :-D The EV spreads will be interesting with this new system of physical vs. special in place.
-
We just found out that the line will be produced! I don't think we'll be seeing set pics for awhile :-P And sne has a female side? Gasp :-P

Well, when I say "exo-force-like" I don't mean with mecha, I mean with those shooters, oversized guns, named "heroes" with a background, etc. And you have me wrong, I don't see where I said Exo-force was horrible, I mean it's a great parts pack at times, and the torsos are fantastic. What I'm trying to say is that I want SPACE to stay away from those gimicks. Exo-force is focused on playing. Space...isn't. If anything it's focused on swooshing :-D I just want it to be like the sets of the late 80's/early 90's as opposed to anything that's around today (which is all about gimicks and trying to grab kids' attention away from video games)

Halloween 06: Welcome to Halloween '06
Starwars4J replied to xwingyoda's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I don't believe there's a skin for the forum yet, but if and when it becomes available, it will be accessable via the drop-down box on the bottom left of the screen ;-) -
It was rumored, but remember that Life on Mars was around when the SW license started...and since they renewed the license, Lego might have added the stipulation that they can make more space lines. If they added that in, it would lead me to believe that Lego would give space a few tries, even if the first year was a flop

Halloween 06: MiniFig Contest: ENTRIES
Starwars4J replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'd love to, but indeed you are having trouble uploading it ;-) If you don't have a brickshelf account, register for one, and you can use the tutorial to help you upload images. Then click on the image twice (until the URL ends in ".jpg"). Copy that image location into the html here to post it :-)
