is belville minifig sized, yoda? Well Sne, the parts are regular System parts (with some "<insert that tiresome argument>" parts). Only the Belville MF are not system scaled more or less !!! These sets do have awsome parts ;) !!!!!!

just a quick thought here guys: I think that a LOT of usefull parts especially food, accessories will be left over by the production team !!! which is stupid because they already have the appropriate molds !!! However, since the Belville sells well, TLC might still produce those cool parts !!!!!

One quick thought: maybe the word is effectively KALI. In that case, we would need to find a book about KALI in the library to find another clue !!!! Afterall, Mister Crowley was a great art collector, there might be some hindu art somewhere !!! (we already found US art, Egyptian art and viking art).

I see now why the blue has been used, it was to cover the 33rd star on the Oregon seal !!!! Concerning the hieroglyphs found on the chairs, someone suggested the letters KALI. I have to disagree on this. The quail does not represent an A: it represents a W but can be read as W or U. Also the reed represents an I but can read as I or A. So the letters we have so far are W (U), L, K, I (A). KIL U !!! that is optimistic !!!! I think that we need more symbols/letters to unreaveal the word !!! Mister Brickster, could we examine more closely the book by Arlington. This book does not make sense with the other books !!! It is just poetry, and has nothing to do with macabre, horror... Maybe a new clue lies in that old book !!!!

Ahhhh, another Phes investigation :D I voted no, never ;) The majority of the sets I buy is for collecting (SW,vikings,designers). I also buy other sets, but I act on impulse. The sets I tend to buy for parts, I buy them on sales and I only need the pics on the box to make my decision !!! The thought of checking inventories before buying sets would not have occured to me. I rely a lot more on instinct and impulse ("seize the day"). For specific parts, I use Bricklink ;)

Loooool, FBTB just posted the winner today !!!! Aren't they on top of things :D ;)

I've been comparing my Jango's and this new Bobba's Slave1. TLC fixed a lot of imprerfections in the construction (I am not talking color scheme here). First the wing themeselves, they got rid of this horrendous Bionicle part, did a great job on details, and the wing attachments to the main body are really nice and much more complex !!! Also the "tail" from the main body looks way better: its not wider but looks a lot more detailed, especially the part just after the cokpit !!! Finnally the rear looks rounder and wider!! However, it suffers from the same defaults as Jango's. The front should have been modified: where the cokpit attaches, the plates should have been curved, like the curved bricks underneath. I hope that where the wings attach to the main body there will not be a huge "hole". The rear looks as plain: there is that big hole enabling the rear to open up, and I hope there is a real closing on the rear !!! Can't wait to have more detailed pics !!!!

For the time being, I think we should not attempt any combination on the safe !!!!!! Could we have a more closer look on that red button underneath it ???? One other question Mister Brickster, have the oil paints and brushes been used ??? If yes, there is probably another hidden message to find. OK, what do we need to open the safe - find the 3 digit combination !!! yeahhhhhh. One thought: the State of Oregon was admitted in the Union in 1859, this date might represent a clue !! I also would like to remind you that we have still to open the gate near the place where we found poor old Mister Crowley and the bedroom - 2 keys to find !!! If we look on the inscription of the blackboard carefully, that RC character have hidden clues to something of importance !!!! Now all we need to do (yeahhh sounds so easy saying it like that) is putt all the pieces of the puzzle together !!! Books, hieroglyphs, ring... Those clues were left to unreveal more clues !!! The dark secret of this mansion lies in those clues !!! We have to find the common thread to them in order to move on, or we will be stuck here a very long time !!!!

Amen brother :D ;) Sne, I don't think pieces will be <insert that tiresome argument> as the new city sets, especially if TLC is cutting down on pieces !!! This 4+ was a weird line taking parts from all over, there were some small parts in 4+ !!!! So the gap is not that wide with system anyway !!! And I totally agree on Paradisa !!!! That is a great way to appeal to building girls !!! (clickitts is fun 5 minutes, but that is not really a construction toy per se). Paradisa had great parts !!!!!

I agree Kim that they did an acceptable job on the RE series ;) The screenplay is well written concerning the story of the Umbrella corporation, and I really liked the fact that our female hero doesn't know who she is at first !!!!! One amazing thing for the first installment was the score written by Marylyn Manson !!!! He did an amazing job sticking to the atmosphere of the movie !!! Its just I wanted something a lot more graphic and violent... Oh well... Take the dog scene for instance, as soon as they jump, we hear gun shots and thats it, as if they just edited the whole scene !!! And Kim, when you say that the female hero is "quite yummy", that is an understatement my friend *satis* ;) One other reason why its hard to adapt such games is that the hero in the games are usually alone, lost somwhere and having to kill a lot of monsters to survive. You cannot do that in a movie, you have to have a group of individuals, which is not really proper to the situation of the game. Yes, a game is intended to be played generally alone, whereas a movie is destined to be viewed by groups, hence the discrepency !!!! Indeed, a movie having a lone hero would not work well...

Well Kim, I don't really agree with you !!! Concerning Doom, the storyline is crap all the way, thats for sure !!!!!! However, all the First Person view make those scenes really close to the game !!!! RE 1 and 2 are dull !!!, really dull. The game can be freaky (the movie is definitly not), it has a kind of sticky, heavy atmosphere (was there one at all in the movies ??) and its extremelly violent !!!! The movie offers nothing close to the game !!!! The real problem with adapting hardcore videogames is the MPAA rating !!! Really, to have an acceptable adaptation, it needs to be NC-17 (which only porn movies have). Please stop the massacre of adapting something that cannot be well adapted !!!!
