  1. Who are you calling weirdo newbie ? I really dislike (and thats a real understatment to stay polite) beeing called names !! I am so telling you that you are on real thin ice !! *yoda*
  2. ROFL X-D And don't forget all those "cheap" and crappy ripp-offs :-D :-P Indeed ! I remember seeing on BS (at least I think it was BS) someone who did resin casts of 2x4 bricks and MFs and used those to make chocolate !! That was really cool !! *yoda*
  3. Of Course Holly ;-) Why wouldn't you be allowed to say that ? And I'm glad that my old review still interests some SW fans out there :-D If I recall correctly, I paid 50
  4. I edited the title to add "USB" since someone revived this review :-D The old title was confusing ;-) Just a hint: if it was the new set I would have emphasized it a lot more :-| *yoda*
  5. The Vassal group can't create polls ;-) Therefore you need to wait a bit before beeing able to do so. Also, since its a general question irrelevent of the theater forum, I shall move this ;-) *yoda*
  6. Whats the point of reviving this topic for that ? Anyhow I will reply on that notion of Lego Shop. Paris has no Lego shop per se. The situation is this: Near Opera there is a huge toy Shop (village Jou
  7. "We brake for nobody" ROFL :-D Oh boy you know your classics :-P I want to see you side mods once finished !! I hesitated to do it on mine and dropped the idea (at least for now). I only got rid of trans crap parts, and closed the bridge as well ;-) !! Sweet mods Ras ;-) Keep them coming hehe !! *yoda*
  8. Her eyes suddenly focused on the source of the confusion, it was a rat, a bloody rat !! Mary was furious at herself to be scared to death by a vulgar rat. Then suddenly the door of the copy room slamed violently...
  9. G, not zan easy task to summarise all that :-P I will start with the Media Influence for the simple reason that it was SW that made me come out of that darn dark age :-D Also I am a real fan of the Indian Jones Trilogy and I thought that the adventurers was relaying that pretty well ;-) I need not forget Batman too 8-
  10. Excellent Steve ;-) Since apart you no one wants to play here are the two other actors: * 2: Max Shreck * 3: Klaus Kinski *yoda*
  11. Mary tried to persuade herself that this "creature" was the boss' idiotic cat.
  12. Jinzo, your cat is scary when its light is on :-D :-P Seriously I voted for a bit of both, even if the real goal for people my age is to PARTY like crazy in weird costumes !! looool *yoda*
  13. Personnally I love those very much ;-) I discovered NYC as a very young kid and ever since I am hooked on those, especially after seeing the Empire State, the Chrysler Tower and the "RIP" WTC And don't forget, I was raised in front of the Eiffel Tower which is not a tower per se but its still pretty high !! To come back to your question BM, I fully concur with Kiku !! I would add pricing as another determinent factor ;-) The only way this can be done is doing it as a kind of "UCS" set !! UCS in its size and price, but more or less MF size (doors and windows): I uggested this already: a UCS of the most famous monuments and that can be achieved in MF scale !! *yoda*
  14. Indeed !! And it will be funny in a couple of months, when the first pics emerge, to see how wrong we were :-D Regarding Life from Mars, why was this line not successfull ? Was it solely because of the fierce competition with SW ? or because of its crap (what a glorious understatment here) design ? I guess its because of a combination of those 2 factors (d'oh). I sincerely hope that this new line will depart as far as possible from Life from Mars or Space will have one of the shortest comeback in the history of TLC :-D This new line will suffer from the competition of 2 themes !! The world heavy weight champion SW and the pushy EF !! I know you will tell me that EF is mecha/story oriented and you are right of course !! However, kids and AFOLs will be faced with a monetary choice betwenn all that !! How many parents or AFOLs do buy the entire TLC catalog ? So space has to be BRILLIANT not to fall into a dark hole for another decade ;-) Speculate On !! *yoda*
  15. DONE & DONE !! I quoted Brickster's first sentence and added his great image ;-) I agree that we need a lot more voters for such a brilliant contest !! 13 voters do not render justice to Brickster's great organization and to the 12 participants ;-) So you know what to do... Vote ON !! *yoda*
  16. "On a dark and stormy night, within the creepy chambers of the Eurobricks Scary Laboratory, twelve individuals create ghoulish :-X and spooky *alien* minifigs for your Halloween delight." EB needs your help to determine the winners in the 3 categories: Most Original, Most Scariest, and Best Overall (scary fig including description). Enter into the Halloween spirit and vote here at once !!
  17. Interesting question Lord *vader* I wrote in a previous transmission that it was a bit like alligator meat, not as tender as Ewoks but more tasty, hence the name "Chewie" !! Also those creatures have a great furr !! Not as gentle as Ewoks but much more warm !! It will be great for our new Empire collection "Hoth '06" !! I will send you some samples my Lord !! I even tainted your furr coat in black !! Also, those Chewie Burgers are in special containers: just open heat and eat !! Enjoy !! GM *yoda* out !!
  18. You need not worry my Dark Lord. While on kashyyyk, I still maintained a heavy training for our elite squads of Bombers and Interceptors !! There is nothing to compare to human skills !! Those Tie/Ds will only serve for "stupid" & unexperienced rebel scums !! I don't want to jeopardise my elite forces for idiotic ennemies !! Long live the Empire !! GM *yoda* out.
  19. GM *yoda* to Lord *vader* My Lordship, you understand why I am not that fast to come hehe !! I hate loosing pilots to gungans and other idiotic rebels !! Their sporadic shooting is a nuisance and they shoot as many friends as Ties :-| Thats a reason why I ordered a huge fleet of totally robotised Ties !! This new breed of fighter will shortly come to eradicate loads of rebels !! We are making so much
  20. ROFL !!! Those poor Nesquick bunnies :-D I really love your great stories CM: great MOCs with really fun humour 8-
  21. Welcome to our friendly board Milady ;-) The History forum needed some Castle fans back in as its currently hijicked by westerners :-D :-P I am sure you will have fun with us so Sandra, sit back, relax and enjoy the EB experience to the fullest ;-) Cheers, *yoda*
  22. Really great and extensive review Dunamis ;-) Many tks for taking the time to do it (after your wife's bday :-P ) ;-) Its fun to see that mix of Technic/Racer set: it has that feel of Racer in Technic bricks ;-) I really like the overall design and "playability" features of the rear of the truck but like you I am really disappointed at the lack of a decent engine !! Also I am disappointed by the lack of specific Technic parts like suspension, engine pistons, treads (...) Its those parts that made me venture into the wonderfull world of Technic with the street bike ;-) I edited the pic for you Dunamis ;-) Cheers, *yoda*
  23. Tks for the info but it was already posted here ;-) Therefore I invite you to continue discussions there and I will lock this ;-) *yoda*
  24. I don't agree with you Sne on the interpretation of that ever so confusing quote: Since Life from Mars was a real crappy line (only the trike was pretty cool, the rest was just :-X ), I think we should add one word to that sentence (and I will add that word in bold): At least I sincerely hope ;-) *yoda*
