  1. OOC: As I said, Alisha has trouble seeing through stereotypes to what a person truly does. She saw Leo trying to make advances on her in the Hall, and that led to their duel. She sees Pretzel as someone who hates her, and thus she saw him glare at her. He didn't necessarily actually do anything other than look at her, but nonetheless that's what she saw him do. As long as he looks at her, none of my writing will be ruined. EDIT: Post in question edited. Palathadric, react to the punch as you will.
  2. No spoilers from me... to the general public, that is. If you really, really want to know, throw a PM my way. As long as you don't blab ( ), I'll gladly tell you. No offence, but telling everyone in a public thread like this would kind of ruin a bit of the reveal(s) for Alisha's character.
  3. OOC: Sorry about that, but Alisha had to hit Pretzel for any of my further plans to work (Oh yes, there's much, much more to Alisha ), and just hitting him out of the blue wouldn't make much sense now would it? Plus, this is how Alisha imagines Pretzel. She probably imagined most of the stuff he "did", so to the rest of the party it would appear she hit him out of the blue. Explain it any way you want, that's just how she sees him; a conniving jerk who won't pass up the chance to throw an insult into every conversation. That's not how I see him, but in the interest of role-playing, she doesn't share my views.
  4. Those weren't Northerners Vikings, they were Gnorfs. Entirely different things.
  5. "Yeah.... Thanks. And I think Daxus wants the Smoke Bomb, not the Broadsword." Alisha's eyes are a little glazed, and she takes the Broadsword from Benji as it is offered. She sits heavily onto the ground. Hitting Pretzel didn't make her feel better, suprisingly. Maybe she needed to hit Daxus as well...... No, said her consience. Hitting people isn't always the answer. Neither is killing them. You had to learn that the hard way, didn't you? Don't ruin it now. Just try to be content with your lot in life.
  6. Alisha steps back, a bit stunned at her own ferocity. Pretzel, most likely seeing a weakness in her, steps forwards, but she reacts first, her fist slamming into his jaw. She thinks she sees his last tooth fly out of his mouth, but she can't be sure. The rest of the party stares at her, or at least she imagines they do, as she runs out of their sight and pukes in a small ditch in the field. She'd never killed another Northerner before..... She heard the party coming up behind her, and quickly stands up, wiping her mouth, and turns on her heel, striding as quickly and proudly as she can in her current state. "I...I would like the Broadsword, please, if Leo doesn't want it that is."
  7. Tarzan guy's hair is Reddish Brown. Compare to the Reddish Brown of the Viking Woman's torso and the Dark Brown of the Hippie's hair and you'll see what I mean.
  8. Sorry to hear that. No one can blame you for this, given the circumstances.
  9. OOC: Won't tell y'all where I've been, but rest assured I'm back now. IC: Alisha throws a punch somewhere in the direction of the archer, but then sees Northern Raider B and redirects, slamming Draken's Ice into him, from the Front Row.
  10. Alisha thinks about teaching Pretzel and Daxus a lesson on the spot, but decides against it. She had bigger problems at the moment. Alisha repeats her previous attack.
  11. "Pretzel, Daxus, shut up. You don't need to quip in the middle of battle. Keep the one-liners out of the fighting, we need to concentrate on these enemies. I will repeat my attack on the Archer."
  12. I tend to make up my own creatures as I go, generally referring to drawings and/or renderings for inspiration. For example, I was inspired by drawings and renderings of Velociraptors to create one of the recurring creatures in my book. Dinosaurs can be extremely useful for inspiration, as they are monsterous in many drawings and can be great as templates for hostile beasts. The work of H.P. Lovecraft can be extremely inspiring as well (The Cthulhu & Shoggoth stand out amongst these), as can many Si-Fi shows & movies, especially for futureistic character designs.
  13. Something a little new for y'all: NOTE1: The person speaking in the first lines is the person Cody was talking about at the end of the last posted segment. NOTE2: Mrs. Jones + Ms. Smith are extremely random names until I can come up with real ones. Feel free to correct my writing as needed, and also note that this is where the rising action of the story begins.
  14. At least it isn't "The Lion King".
  15. "Damn you, Pretzel, and your utterly conflicting words and personality!" says a voice in the sky, presumably a god, but maybe probably Alisha doing sound effects.
  16. No Sting above the fireplace. Other than that, beautiful work. I especially love the fireplace techniques.
  17. "I do take offense at that, Leo." Hearing Monk Pretzel's snarky comment, Alisha yells back, "As if! Pretzel, you better hope you get killed by these Vikings, 'cause if you don't, I'm gonna kill you for them! "
  18. Working title of novel I'm writing: The Beginning of the End. Cliched, I know, but still sounds good and fits with the story. I've got a topic here in Culture & Multimedia for it as well, so if you want to read some parts of it, be sure to head there.
  19. OOC: Holy sh*t, hectic day yesterday. Still can't figure out how I ended up at my mother's. If you haven't noticed, I was drunk. Or at least I think I was, I'm still not thinking straight this morning. IC: Alisha promptly smacks Monk Pretzel on the back of the head, she just knew he was thinking about something dirty, and then raises Draken's Ice once again, charging at the Archer from the front row.
  20. Be warned: I'm excellent at logic puzzles.
  21. I do take offense at that. (See my sig)
  22. Extremely so. IE 9 can barely play it. For some reason, my character will freeze in one place on the board and not take any damage, but deal it, and then when I defeat all the enemies it says "MISSION FAILED".
  23. Alisha begins heading back to town, not waiting for the party to discuss everything over when it didn't really matter. She did want some of those cheap potions, though.
  24. "Gold Grave is the soldier Draugr with the shield." EDIT: "Cross is the grey skeleton, Towering Tomb is the one with the big head, and Small Crypt is the skeleton with only the helmet."
  25. " Draugrs aren't people, skaavda*. Draugrs are the risen spirits of ancestors or loved ones who still have something to do in this world, usually revenge on their killers. Not something people are born as." OOC: *Skaavda = idiot in Alisha's native language. Checked on the translator, as far as I can see, doesn't mean anything.
