The funeral is tomorrow in the morning, and I will be driving the long 300 miles back to my apartment after that, so don't expect me to be on, if I am at all, until late afternoon. If need be, Flare can control Alisha until I get back. Sorry to do this to you guys at this point, but my great-uncle was an amazing man, and I can't miss this funeral.

Alisha, absentmindedly, trips the Special of the Raider, then comes to her senses just in time. An evil grin comes across her face, and she two-handedly shoves Pretzel and Daxus as human shields, standing behind them and then innocently shoving both out of her way, each off one side of the bridge. "What? Less wait on the bridge, less chance that it'll fall," she grumbles in the general direction of Benji and Leo. She then marches forward and slams her fist into the Man-at-arms's jaw, following up from the Front Row, with her Broadsword.

One of my favorite characters portrayed extremely well here. Still can't get his song out of my head from when I played Arkham City........ Still trying, though.

"Cleric Wulf? And gods, you people don't think about anyone else, do you? Benji, yes, Alisha is taken, but not by you, nor anyone else in the present company. So stop talking while you're ahead."

Not going to abandon one of her kin again, Alisha hoists the Raider up onto his feet, supporting the man. As Leo gave him the potion, Alisha asks, "What happened? Who did this to you?"

"Yeah. Doesn't matter to me......." Alisha seems to be deep in thought, absentminded. She absently pulls a small, silver talisman in the shape of a dragon from beneath her robes. As she stares at it, polishing it with the edge of her cloak, her eyes glaze over, and her face falls. Without any provocation, she begins speaking. "By the time I got back home, they were already gone. My family...... my friends. Dead, all of them. The Trin were the ones that did it. Their marks were all over the bodies, written in blood on the walls. Blood is thicker than water......"

"Puking my guts out, and your guts might be coming out a slightly different way if you don't shut up. Same goes for Daxus. One more quip from either of you and you might find yourselves losing your stomachs for adventure."

As my thread is mostly for feedback, I'll post the main plot of my story here. ------ Cody Brackenheim and Eric Aotheran are two normal fourteen-year-olds, living in a small town in the U.S, until a creature from another dimension kidnaps them, considering them to be two out of the prophesied three "Controllers"; ones who can each master a different aspect of the universe. Thrown into prison on a moon brimming with creatures out of nightmares, Cody and Eric meet a young man, Aaron, who helps them escape to the nearby planet, a twisted version of Earth that serves as a battlefield for warring species of the two moons. While on the planet, Rean, Cody and Eric encounter the third and fourth prophesied humans, Arriana and Lily, and are suprised to find that one of them is from their very own hometown, brought to the planet by the Resistance, a group of humans fighting a hopeless battle against a new power rising amongst the legions of the black empire Car'Chaka. This dictator leads armies of thousands, while the Resistance is spread thin and losing badly on all fronts. Taken to the Resistance base of operations, Cody and Eric learn that Aaron was a part of the former Resistance who was thought to be dead for many years. Trouble seems to follow the two, as when they are dropped in a canyon for training, Car'Chaka forces attack, kidnapping their fellow trainees and injuring both badly. Separated, they wander throughout the canyon, searching for any life, and finding it. Eric fights wild animals and a war beast of the Car'Chaka, then is captured for a gladiatorial arena. He participates in, and wins, the blood sport, and escapes, to be found by Aaron hours later. Cody, however, finds a passageway through the canyon wall, and follows it, finding himself at a vast lake. He encounters a Leviathan, a gigantic beast that lives in the water. He attempts to kill it, but is captured by the Car'Chaka and thought dead. After a series of misadventures, he escapes and reunites with Eric, Aaron, Arriana, and Lily, only to have to fend off a gigantic attack by the Car'Chaka forces, and all five find their true powers in the process. ---- That, I'm thinking, will be the end of Book 1.

OOC: Yes, that's how Sandy and other QMs do it, at least. Also, it does appear I was wrong, Pretzel should have 10 HP now, because Clerics do start with 9 HP, not 5 as I thought. I just looked it up in the rules. Okay then, I got this. IC: "So, since we've been to the Heavenly Meadow already, why don't we go to the Staugh Bridge? It's on the way to the largest area of sightings, so I think it's a pretty safe thing to do, considering where we are."

OOC: Pretzel should have 6/6 HP, because 1 HP is gained per level, and all Clerics start with 5/5 HP. Also, because of Natural Respite, Alisha should have 11/11 HP. IC: Alisha appears to be recovering, but a small quaver is still remaining in her usually strong, angry tones. "Okay, we need to go to the Heavenly Meadow, right? Or maybe we've already been there......" OOC: We were heading to the Heavenly Meadow when the Raiders attacked, so shouldn't we be there now?

Hi all, I'm a dedicated EXO-FORCE fan, and I sometimes wonder what it would look like done in the modern LEGO style. So, here's how I imagine it would be! She could have simply tapped him lightly, and since he is an old man, he is KO'd on the spot, or she could have actually hit him hard enough to kill him, if he had been a bit more frail. I, personally, think that she was just throwing it in out of anger and frustration, as you said, and, since she's a Barbarian, it would have been a pretty heavy punch. As I said, though, that's mostly up to you, play it out any way you like.

I'm actually happy you brought it up palathadric, I'm always trying to improve the ways that I play this game.

Okay just to add to this discussion, let me write up a timeline: -Rise of the Rookies-Has to take place quite a while after the Factory is built, because the Alpha Team (Presumably the first Heroes built) already has a huge reputation as the best. -Ordeal of Fire-Here we see Furno and Breez/to a lesser extent Surge acting more mature and experienced, I assume around 3 months or so after RotR. -Timespan in which Rocka is built, Aldous deserts, upgrade is spread to all Heroes -Savage Planet-Here we see Furno acting as more of a leader, so I'm beginning to think a few (2-5) months after OoF. -Breakout-Upgraded again, I think 4-5 months after SP. All in all, HF covers a span of 1 year or so, maybe more.
