  1. I play for Necrons from time to time. Howver I don't really like the new revamp of them, so can't really make myself start painting them. I used to play for Tomb Kings and Dwarves a bit in FB, but never really did it properly. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  2. Funny? You, my good sir, and I have a very different idea about Joker being funny. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  3. Well, I see your point, Oky. That depends, I guess, on how you see Batman's rule of not using the gun. I always though that he couldn't kill with it, like it's been shown in Under the Red Hood ( arguably the best Bats film so far, closely followed by Mask of Phantasm and Mystery of Batwoman). But I thought that he could use it to shoot some object. And the fact that he couldn't shoot it several times was not because the gun was "clumsy', but he said it to himself for not being able to shoot it, due to obvious lack of practice. On a separate note i'd like to note how wonderfully Superman's role has been rendered. His actions are questionable from the very beginning, he appears to be almost the second biggest baddie in the film. (Love it how he de facto serves the American government to solve their problems for them. Something they avoided in following years, by making Sups reject his american citizenship.) And is it me, or Joker's homo-bi-sexuality has bin somewhat toned down in the film? From comic book I got a very clear message that he had some strong obsession towards Bats, and claimed that Bats also had some secrets to hide..... Here he says about "psychotic obsession", but that changes the things a bit. And who wouldn't love Selina Kyle? I mean seriously, she's let a minor, but one of the most sympathetic character in the film. Especially when she starts hitting Superman after Bruce's funeral. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  4. Well, indeed, both films had a lot of violenc, which i didn't expect to happen. I was pretty sure the style of the comic would've been toned down, but it seems they decided to push it to the top. As for Batman using guns or willingly injuring Joker..... Well, I personally liked it a lot. Batman in the film is an old grumpy man. Still able to kick the heck out of ordinary punks, put at the same time tired to death of the city of crime, where people are too afraid to stand for themselves (like Gordon puts it). In the Carnival scene it looked to me like he's both tired and irritated at the same time: tired that he has to do it again, to chase Joker and throw him back to Arkham, and irritated, because Joker just wouldn't stop and after those many years he still is present in Batman's life. it seems Bats was ready to end it once and for all from the very beginning. Perhaps, not kill, but injure joker so much that he wouldn't be able to crawl out of Arkham ever again. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  5. The news about the upcoming Constitution train also contains something for us, it seems. Metropolis showdown. Edit: Seems like old news. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  6. Love it, Captain Nemo! Ingenious, in my opinion, and wonderfully executed! I really like how you gave the very different tone to the pics. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  7. Now that is something extraordinary! Who would've thought that using to colours and rather basic parts could give such a brilliant result? I'm positively amazed at how you managed to make the industrial surrounding look so cute! I especially like those "claws" on the walker! Looks astounding as usual! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  8. Well, it's my favourite type of a contest, so I couldn't miss it, could I? ) Meet Pengy the penguin! Little is known about the faraway country he came from. Some say it's always snowing there and animals never see summer or warm sunny days. But during long polar nights they see wonderful things in the dark sky - Nothern Lighs . He came to Fabuland on a big floating ice rock, which he called "the iceberg". He saw that local animals never tasted ice-cream, or cool drinks before, so he opened a reataurant and called it.... yes, "The Iceberg", where they could taste 130 different flavours of ice-cream! He is generally liked by the residents of Fabuland, since he's well-read and well-spoken gentleman. He is a good friend too. If someone nedds, say, money he will always lend some. However several animals, who couldn't pay back never returned from "The Iceberg" ever again..... And the avatar: Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  9. Welcome, comrade! Which indicates that you're 15 (16 at best). EB is very much unlike Doublebrick (with no disrespect for the latter), so you might wish to be familiar with AFOL community etiquette. Enjoy your stay! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  10. Great one, LuxorV! Fabuland is definitely the peak of evolution here!Look at the size of his head! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  11. Time to leave some of the titles for history: "Green Well-Respected EB Flilantropist and Now a RA Teacher" - this long titles summarazes in a way my achievements during the previous year. "Vodka, Caviar, and Bears on Unicycles!" - well, that's what makes a well-respected Russian! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  12. Oky, you're wonderful! What else can I say? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  13. You mean you generally dislike the character, or my custom? Thank you! ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  14. Great ones, Oky! As usual! You're a true master of LEGO-funnies! Always looking forward to seeing more..... In order to celebrate my new batch of Batman minifigures ( ), here're some from me: Good day, ladies and getlemen! )
  15. Time for a new batch, ladies and gentlemen! ) Any comments, please? ) Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  16. is talking to his minifigures again! Check out my new figures in MCW forum! :)

  17. Today, after New Year celebration, i had a most interesting talk with one of my minifigures...... Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  18. Actually, this image raises a question. If I buy two AA sets and build both of them exactly the way it's shown on the pic, then put them together, am I right in thinking that I'll get a "fully closed" building? As far as I can see technically it's possible, no? If so, it is amazing! What still remains uncler is the Penguin's panel on the cage? Generally he's considered to be one of the few actually sane Batman villains. You don't really consider a man wearing a monocle and carrying cool umbrellas with him insane, do you? Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  19. Outstanding review, as usual! The set is indeed smaller, it seems, than it looks at first glance, and when you compare it with the size of the box. The pic where you compare the box with the size of the minifig is most impressive. Despite all the good things about it, I can't help noticing that the number of variants you can combine parts of the set is somewhat limited. I mean if I buy, say, 2 AA sets there will be not many variants I can combine them with each other. Which is a shame! You don't like The penguin fig?! Aw-w-w-w-w! I thought he was awesome. Thanks again for bringing us that most impressive review! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  20. Aren't you a talented person?! I just love all of your artwork that I've seen and suppose that your contribution to the forum will be much praised from fans like me, if you keep the thread running! I'm looking forward to seeing more, and more! Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  21. is having another martini.

  22. And so, here comes my entry! Pic=link. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  23. Well, I find the very idea of recreating the comic cover in LEGO ingenious, so I couldn't resist participating! I hope you'll like it! And the pic itself. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  24. Oh, very good! Thank you very much. Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
  25. One question: If I take a comic cover, which is black and white, can I take a black and white pic? I guess every other camera can take such pics and it's hardly "mad photoediting". Good day, ladies and gentlemen! )
