  1. Congrats, you have beaten the universe for another year. Enjoy the day, and celebrate merrily into the night ! Akkh
  2. Thank you, thank you. A whirlwind day of celebration indeed, And i now have a little Fenris Wolf to attempt to Swallow the sun, as well as a Drakkar to finish building. Akh
  3. Admittedly, both companies have held licenses to the same copyrighted material before... http://www.figures.com/databases/action.cg...article=10&nl=1 But I'll be the first to say I would have preferred this license to either Spongebob or Batman. Ah well. Akkh
  4. Well, i decided to cast a vote. Yarr ! Akkh
  5. Hrm... Hard to vote. I loved the Castle line, especially the ninja line. But I've also become very enamoured of a few pirate sets. Hard decision. Akkh.
  6. Its an interesting looking ship. I'm considering picking one up while they are still sorta cheap. ITs a shame they thought that the collapsing mast was needed to enhance playability. Akkh
  7. I'm so on board with that idea. I'm a huge fan of the machuiltl (spelling on this is probably a touch off, but is close to approximately correct, its the wooden sword with obsidian chips set in it) and would love to have a bunch of little mini-fig Aztec with their eagle painted shields. And if we needed to have monsters, Quetzalcoatl and Hutizilopochtili whould be great... Hrm. I should get more pirate sets. Akkh
  8. Name: July (yes, like the 7th month) Dodson. Age: 27 State: Texas
  9. There are few things in this world that cannot somehow be improved upon by the addition of giant robots. Between another year of vikings, and that...its goping to be a good year. Akkh
  10. *Pulls the scorpion light back out from under his jingasa* Aight, where are we going ? Akkh PC: back home, all safe, only real damage was to the garage.
  11. As someone who recently left Houston... Its still a category four as per the latest news updates...there is hope it will weaken further before landfall. Edit: When I woke up, it had moved back down to a Cat 3. Yay ! And modern politics have little to nothing to do with the wrath of nature. Unless you are suggesting George Bush has finished learning the mystical powers required to harness the power of the elements and send/deflect storms at will... Which is an interesting theory... Akkh
  12. I voted yes, in that while i wasn't posting often, i was watching, and seeing where things were going. Akkh
  13. "Why are you wearing a dead cat on your face...and that axe isn't regulation, you know...are they intiationg n00bs again ?"
  14. Lord Thrawn...thank you...thats the funniest thing I've read all month.... |-D
  15. As the phrase goes...too late for that. Look on the brightside... ireally dig the pirate line. Akkh
  16. I was referring to you perhaps celebrating that someone else decided to pursue the Pirate Line as opposed to lamenting the loss of a MISB item. Akkh
  17. Heh heh...lucky number 33... Brickster, I'd like to get a closer look at the pieces of wood in the desk. Akkh
  18. See, you'd figure Mister Phes would be saying something like this, rather than chewing me out for buying a pirate set... Akkh
  19. Based on my initial examination of it, I don't think its an error, but how they are choosing to market this batch of Lego factory. In essence, they are selling you a pre-made assortment of parts, which you just had the luxury of building with befroe you purchased the kit. I'm messing around with it right now...I'll let you know what I come up with. I'm designing nothing special, just a piece of minifig scale wall to link to a piece of castle MOC I've been working on. Akkh
  20. Meh, I've ben called crazy before. :-D Besides, I couldn't just leave it in its pretty purple box for all eternity. It was begging to be freed. As for the cost, as I mentioned in the MISB-to open thread, a little extra expense to make sure all the pieces are there, unchewed on, and sails unyellowed...I'm willing to pay a litle extra for that. That and with the other stuff I purchased, it came out to something I didn't mind paying. Shipping on the other hand, was painful. In any event...its still a great set...possibly one of the best TLG has ever put out. I am suitably impressed. Akkh
  21. I've updated my list, which is also a way of saying that I got my first Pirate sets. Akkh
  22. *chuckles at the mention of 'The Raven'* Perhaps we might venture back downstairs. There was still the matter of the outside thast some wanted to examine. Akkh
  23. If you ever get a moment, I'd love some pics of that. I've been tooling around with something along those lines in my ever expanding fantasy setting. Akkh
  24. As far as adding the symbols, again you could get the notion of Kali, or if you turn it into the most basic of codes, where a=1, adding K+A+L+I= 33, though the significance of that is not yet known. It also could be neither of those, but I'd figure I'd stop lurking in the shadows and give you something to chew on. If nothing else, if is the old 'see through the keyhole' style of antique lock on that bedroom door, that can be easily picked with a credit card, if no one objects to me doing so. We had one of those in the second office I worked in. Akkh
  25. Happy Birthday, Sne ! May you enjoy the day in celebration. Akkh
