Tarfful

My name was supposed to be General Tarfful but I forgot to put space inbetween and I left out an F. *wacko* Sigh, I'm thinking about asking a Mod to change it but can't decide.... Oh, and Tarfful is the well known and respected 7 foot tall Wookie leader in the Battle of the Wookie City of Kachiro, the city you see in the backround of the battle on Kashyyyk in ROTS. He's the Wookie who stands up on the beach-head and yells his guttaral warcry and leads his fellow Wookie warriors to battle in the scene on Kashyyyk in ROTS. He's not really officially a General, officialy, just a 'leader'. For Delta Squad fans out there, he's also the Wookie you rescue in Republic Commando. Jim, it's the lighting. The new mold Phase 1 trooper is probably under generic yellow Florescent lights and the original mold Phase 1 is under White lights. To see that they really are pure White click here. General Tarful

Great idea Palin Jax! For Example for Hoth they could make it like a diorama with the Rebels in snow trenches on one side an the the Imperials trugding over the snow to get to them, and in the backround have the Giant Echo Base doors and Turrets and on the Empires side have AT-AT legs to signify them approaching and maybe some Taun-Tauns and an improved more intricate Probe Droid. Exactly Big Pete, We/I want tons of new minifigs and I like Chess too. X-D ;-) And to answer your other question I bought the current Castle Chess set strictl because of the fig to price ratio, and the fact that it was %20 off. General Tarful

First reaction- OMG Elves!! Second reaction- The helmet the elf is wearing is very unelfish, it looks too crude to me. Oh, and please, pleases TLG don't let them have the same color scheme as the humans, we already know the dwarves are allied to the humans but do they really need to have the same color scheme in their heraldry? Conclusion- TLG needs to do some research on Elven arms and armor and now we need a new faction to battle the Elves. Preferably Drow Elves with Ebony skin, Red and Purple eyes, and hand held crossbows and slim Schimitars. General Tarful

Wow great tank! Very menacing but at the same time cartoonish, why cartoonish you say, well because of the seemingly random colors, the huge vents on the side, and the boards, extra treads, and chain on the back. This all together gives it a decidedly Loony-Toonish feel, to me at least. This is in no way a bad thing either because it gives the tank it's own personality and adds to the uniqeness of the tank overall. I for one like all the random colors it gives the tank it's own flavor. That being said excellent job at creating a decidedly creative and unique tank. *y* General Tarful

Wow, it's instantly recognizeable as the scene it depicts. You managed to put a lot of detail into a small space, I especially like Jones Sr.'s umbrella. One of my favorite scenes from the Indiana Jones movies and you pulled it off with flying colors. Kudos! *y* General Tarful

The roof pack is the I'll probably get since I'm in drastic need of roof pieces. I just hope they release more color options like Black, and Dark Bley ect. General Tarful

I was referring to a previously discussed idea of mine from somwhere in the beginning of this topic. :-P ;-) The idea was History starting with Anchient Times and moving up a century or so every couple of years and going till right before the first World War as to not get too contriversal. Very nice original design and color scheme. Black, Red and White give it a fierce apperance. Although the Green seems a bit out of place , but I guess you can't help that with the Green beeing on a printed part and all. Overall a very well designed custom Delta-7 Aethersprite, excellent work! *y* General Tarful

You forgot the Porax 38 Utapaun Fighter, Sith Infiltrator, Low Altitude Assault Transport/cargo, and The Trade Federation. ;-) Acronyms as follows: P-38 or UF, SI, LAAT/c, and TTF General Tarful EDIT: I forgot the TX-130S Fighter Tank or Saber Class Tank (SCT), the name was changed to IFT-X Fighter Tank after The Clone Wars. EDIT #2: I also forgot the Droid Gunship (DGS), Venator Class Star Destoyer (VCSD) or its common name Republic Atttack Cruiser (RAC), and the Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport (UT-AT) it's also called the Trident because of its 3 forward weapons. Oops, I misunderstood, my bad. :-$ But perhaps a more fitting name would be the Order 66 Chess set... That way the title is very clear as to what the subject matter is. On another note I like your idea of Rooks being big vehicles while Knights could be smaller and swifter vehicles like Speeder Bikes and Hoth rebels on Taun Tauns. I too would like TLG to make Star Wars Chess sets. If anybody has any ideas for different sets you could post them here. Jim Butcher and I have had many ideas for diff. sets, and more ideas and critiques of previous ideas are always welcome. :-) Even though it looks like TLG can't do much about making actual SWCS's at the moment it never hurts to think ahead. If this idea gets enough momentum I'm sure we could even open an entire thread devoted to Star Wars Chess set ideas. Star Wars Chess sets in the near future ON!!! General Tarful

Thanks Jim Butcher. :-$ In my opinion though your Ep.3 Chess Set idea is a little jumbled, no offense. :-) Now for some positive Criticism... -All the jedi you listed were all dead at the time of the fall of theJedi Temple except for Obi Wan and Yoda who were there afterwards. -Bail Organa though not a Jedi was there for a couple minutes and did not do any fighting. -Count Dooku and General Grievous were already dead at the time. That could be true except for the fact that the 2 sets have completley different set numbers. The Twilight's is 7680 which is a normal system set nuber while the Death Star's is 10188 which is a UCS set number. ;-) General Tarful

To me comparing the 2 is almost pointless because 1 is based off the actual Phase 1 Clone from the movie and the other is based off an animated version of the Phase 1 Clone. I am currently playing Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms. In my opinion the it's the ULTIMATE RTS (Real Time Strategy) game. I can't wait for Empire: Total War, that's going to be so sweet! *sweet* General Tarful
