  1. It doesnt matter when you post, i just wanted people to know because last time, people were upset because i didnt start it until i got home from school. so impatient... (kidding).
  2. They sound like great ideas, and i bet TLG could incorporate those into the City theme. But i fear they will be just statues and sculptures, with no relation to minifigs. Although I'm sure people would still buy them that way, but i would like them to be minifig scale. Heroscape is exactly what i thought of when i read this. Not a bad game, ive played it at a friends house, but i dont own it. I think a lego version would be great, but it might need some lisenceing. And it doesnt have to be limited to medieval, like Heroscape. It has heroes brought from all times, the past, the future, the present. An all out game like that with different existing themes like Star Wars, Castle, Agents, etc., or an all new theme (more likely). Great ideas!
  3. Oh, yes thank you. I sometimes get characters confused, that was my fault. Dont get me wrong, it is a great story, keep it up, and I look foward to the last chapter. And your welcome for the feedback, it was my pleasure (to make you happy, not to nit-pick).
  4. Hello, these are a bunch of figs I made to represent part of a world I created out of LEGO. This is in response to Fantasy Worlds, Places, Themes, and Ideas started by TheBrickster. These are my characters so far, representing the elements. From left to right: Wind (green) Light (white) Time (grey) Dark (black) Fire (red) and in the back, we have Earth (brown) Any comments you would like to add? I know this was brief, but more info can be foundhere
  5. hmm, i dont have that one, is it okay if i keep using the Mutt torso? sorry for the lack of parts, really. And this is for everyone: please do not change your character's appearance frequently. Every once in a while is okay, but not like every chapter. Oh yeah, is every one ready? the chapter starts tommorow, around 10:00 AM central time.
  6. I have a question for TLG: Why are so many LEGO bricks dicolored? I have seen this very frequently latelt, especially with the brown pieces. When I'm trying to build woodwork (out of LEGO bricks), there are always light, milky looking pieces here, and dark, solid brown pieces there. I am not talking about the different shades of LEGO bricks, like Dark Brown, Brown, and Tan, I am talking about one color, but some pieces' colors are different. Could you please explain if this problem is from a molding issue, or the plastic was running out when the different poeces were made, or something else? Thanks in advance. 7. Alright, here is my first suggestion to TLG: I would very much like a new Sudios theme with many well-know movies, old and new, such as... The Mummy Jurrasic Park Pirates of the Carribean Lord of the Rings Harry Potter (scrap the old theme, which is dying, and start a new, smaller theme in Studios) The Matrix (maybe a little violent for the younger audiences...) ...and many more. I have seen plenty of great MOCs of these movies, and they could be made into real sets. Many people would buy these sets because they are based off of favorite moves; any movie-goer would want a set from the movie they just saw. Also, people wouldnt feel the need to collect all of the sets, just their favorite movie sets. Another plus is that TLG wouldnt have to go crazy and create every little thing seen in the movie, unlike Star Wars (sets like the Republic Cruiser) and Indiana Jones (sets like Peril in Peru or Jungle Cutter), although I enjoy these themes very much. So, TLG could create little scenes, and not huge sets of the movie, like The Mummy, when the mummy is hunting down his organs, TLG could make a small set of the mummy, an American, a jar with the organ, and some furniture. This is the theme that I want most, and I hope you take it into consideration.
  8. great work, although i dont know half of these famous people in history. nice use of a tire for a russian hat!
  9. hey, pretty cool, i like the first one the best: simple, and easy to remember (by that i mean simple but effective) could use blonde hair though. but what did you do to the hair in the Pirate King one?!? you chopped it off... oh well, still great work, and i have to say, come check out my POTC figs. please?
  10. haha, very funny. as many others have said, you must have gotten the idea from Disney's animated Robin Hood. Either that or you two are going crazy . i can see why people skipped over this, they probably didnt know what it was. i didnt until you told me it was robin hood. or maybe it looked bad in comparison to the two SW dioramas. (not that this looks bad at all...!) hmmm... can fabuland legs move separatley from each other? otherwise its godly powers.
  11. well, the proffesor pulling the gun on Mrs. Rommel and the doctor (or the dr. pulling the gun out on the proffessor and Mrs. rommel?) happened very suddenly, and there was no evidence of the proffeseor showing any signs of rebellion to the crystals or the journey. and when it happened so suddenly, I as the reader couldnt follow why he was doing that (i know it explains why, but its so confusing what his choice was) and... well, you get my point. The thing is, it was kind of thrown together, making it confusing. (remember, im not sayong this to be mean, just positive nit-picking). same thing with the monster popping out. But i suppose the main reason for this confusion is that its in writing, and is describing a LEGO creation, versus it being written in a book or seen in a movie. So it may just be the form of telling the story. And there wasnt really any suspense because it happened so quickly. Just my thoughts, please dont take this the wrong way.
  12. hmm, yes, the DGS is now on my list, it looks like a great set, especially with the extra ground troopers. two thumbs up. this set has gone from the bottom to the top with just one pic. excellent work, lego!
  13. I agree with Belloq, its unlikely the Trade Feds would make such advanced structures just for one battle droid. They wouldnt care if any droids die in battle, just as long as they get the job done in numbers, let alone matinence for a few dents and scratches. ...Nonetheless, its a great creation, keep it up.
  14. im very sad to say that SOMETIMES it does. but thats only if you hold it from the top and bottom with your fingers and thumb respectivly. But if you hold it in your palm or from the sides, it wont break. Emphasis on sometimes. But dont try to mess around with it by removing its pieces or adding new one, or modding it in any way, because the sliding mechanism wont agree with the mods and break. But this hardly takes away from anyone liking this set because, IMO, its perfect just how it is.
  15. that would be a Megablok fig... *pukes*
  16. i havent seen the movie yet, but great figs. If you were wondering where this goes, i would say the MF customization workshop, although im not positive. I hope you'll do more Pixar or Wall-E figs in the future!
  17. My least favorite of the seiries so far. No offense intended at all, but it just seems like a half-hearted addition. The MOC is okay, good SNOT techniques, maybe a little confusing. And the story was a little hard to follow, i thought the professor was with Mrs. Rommel. And it was really confusing when the monster popped out and grabbed the prof., i was like, "whats got him, where is it?" Still, a great creation.
  18. i like the new ones best, although they remind me of the Megabloks Dragons. They are junoirised, but still the best of the three types. And i didnt even know TLG made a Harry Potter dragon, ill have to google that.
  19. very cool, Duke. This kind of reminds me of the game "Shadow of the Collosus" for PS2. It looks really... umm... ruin-y... the tree looks really cool, as well as the campfire.
  20. Truly great work, lego ryan. my only critisism is evees legs, it kind of looks like shes not wearing any pants. i love your Rick, by the way.
  21. wow, their all very amazing works, BatBrick!! My favorites are the Robin Snowmobile and the Harley Quinn Truck. I also liked the mini Bat Chopper, and good idea taking a pic with the propellers in motion, it gives it a more realistic feel, IMO. Great job, keep up the good work!
  22. Hey, great MOC, its just how i imagened it to be. i really like all of the treasure and valuebles. But wasnt the a dragon in this part? If you put in a dragon from the Castle theme, it would be so awesome.
  23. I like your MOC, Matn, but the story was a little hard to follow and short. How does it end? What are the other two tasks? otherwise, great idea.
  24. Thanks again for the pics! So now we know that the pilot can fit in the ship, and it can drop bombs/ missiles. Whats the gear on the bottom of the ship for? Is it part of the mechanism for the bombs? ...and can we please stop making so many pointless comments like "me likey"? some members on this board are doing that a lot, and im sorry, but its really getting annoying, so please stop.
  25. so, in NZ and Europe, its 300 dollars/euros? lucky you guys, finnaly you get it cheaper than us. TLG cares! good thing i wont get the DS.
