I agree with you completely. I've been trying to give up OT and focus on PT, but sets like The Battle of Endor are just too good to miss. I drew a line at the Death Star, though, as much as I'd like it. Sometimes this type of thing needs to be brought to their attention by people like me. Okay, fine, but "Still am a Kiwi." is certainly not on-topic. I think that belongs in the 'Future Star Wars Sets' topic.

That too. I'm sure they'll upload them when the sets become available to buy. It's not like they're secret sets that we've not seen before, anyway, so we don't need pics yet.

But do we all want huge ships like those that are really expensive and take up lots of space? I know I don't. I prefer what TLG has done by picking out the main play features of Home One and putting them in a smaller cheaper playset. As for your petty squabbles about OT vs PT, they belong here. About the availability of sets on Shop@Home, they belong here, but I've already posted it's current status. Sorry to act like a mod, but I'm getting a bit tired of all these off-topic conversations.

More fantastic work, Penguin! You know how much I love all of your MOCs. They're all so creative. Alfred's car looks really sleek and posh, the Joker's henchman's bike looks really good, as do the Joker's hair and hat. Do you paint them or are they from other sets? Mr. Freeze looks tough and Shreck looks like a perfect match too! Well done! I can't wait for more!

Now you say it, another Slave I does seem pointless. Maybe a UCS or Midi-sclae one with Boba would be better. Are you referring to a Kamino-based set? I don't think there's all that much to do with a Kamino set. You could make Jango's apartment, but I doubt it would sell all that well. Maybe putting a Kaminoan or two in would help it. This seems to be straying more towards the 'Future Star Wars sets' topic so I'll stop talking about that now.

Thanks. It makes sense for TLG to use all designs they think, rather than just cast them aside because one won. I don't see why LEGO would create such an accurate Z-6 for jet troopers if they weren't going to release a new Fett. They could easily have gotten away with creating a cheaper, plain jetpack that's just a couple of air tanks or something if they weren't.

I have been given the title of 'Star Wars Specialist'. I think Ras gave it to me, and I have an idea it's a combination of the way I like to talk in detail when discussing Star Wars, my Star Wars-related signature game, my Clone Trooper MS Paint characters! I think they are probably also the reasons why I was given my Star Wars badge as well.

I've just finished watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I've seen them all several times before, but just felt like re-watching them. Lord of the Rings, as I'm sure many will agree, is one of the best sets of films released. The story is great, the effects are spectacular and the battles are superb! For anybody who has been living under a rock for the past 10 years and has never heard of Lord of the Rings, it's a story about a Hobbit called Frodo who has to return the Ring of Power to Mount Doom where it can be destroyed. Of course, he and his friends meet many obstacles along the way! For anyone who hasn't seen them, I'd strongly recommend watching them. I've not read the books, but I have read The Hobbit, from which the Lord of the Rings follows on. I'd give the films 5/5!

It took me a while to find, but seeing as we're back on this topic, I'll refer back to what I'd like to see in a C-9979 Landing Craft set: Some good ideas, and a display of many similar small-sized sets like that would look good. They wouldn't offer much for playability, but would make good BPs if they included generic figs.

More great work, Hound Knight! Very well done again!

Adding small scenes together like that will eventually become a set identical to the 10188 Death Star. I think TLG did a good enough job making the compactor in the Death Star set, and I don't think they'll want to design another small set containing just one small scene. I agree that there aren't really many more opportunities to make new OT sets, but TLG may surprise us with some good redesigns or sets we thought would be too big for them to pull off, like Chalmun's Cantina or Jabba's Palace, etc. Sorry, Kim. I just thought it important to use emoticons when commenting on other peoples' ideas so not to seem as though I'm criticising them or being sarcastic. I think an AAT will definitely be released if LEGO goes back to PT. It, like the Geonosis Arena (also on your list), are long-awaited sets for many PT fans, including myself. A C-9979 Landing Craft would be a great idea, with a good opportunity to build up a Separatist Army if it's a minifig-scale one. I also see TLG continuing this line of midi-sized vehicles for a while too. Just my thoughts.

It was supposed to be 'Palpatine's Arrest', but I doubt they would have included much more than what's in the office in the Venator. I'm sure we had a 'reliable-guess' of what the figs were at some point: Palpatine, Windu, Fisto, Anakin and a Senate Guard. There was no sign of any new Jedi figs. When that set didn't win probably thought to just put the essence of the set into an existing set. I could be completely wrong, but that's my guess.

I agree that the jetpacks are bland in the fact that they are all plain white. Some blue detailing, for example, would be much better. They are very detailed in their shape, but the colour could be improved. I don't think it was ever TLG's intention to just release the winner of the set competition. Home One won, so we are seeing that as a complete set. Palpatine's office was included in the Venator, and it was said we'd see an Empire Strikes Back anniversary set which would probably 'Slave I with Cloud City Landing Platform'. There is then a chance to see a new Boba Fett.

The Senate Commando battlepack is a good idea. Maybe it could include 3 commandos, a commando captain and a special speeder as the BPs include small vehicles. Or, to go another way, it could include 2 commandos and two Coruscant guards. Any of these would be fine with me. "senate guard clones" I assume you mean Coruscant guards as Senate Commandos aren't clones. If TLG did release a BP, it would be great if they included different heads for each commando to give a bit of variation. About the Senate Building, I doubt they'd release it without some form of Palpatine, even if he has been in a set recently. Fewer Senate commandos and more individual Senator figs like both Padmé and Organa. Good ideas otherwise. Which Separatist frigate do you mean? The Munificent-class is used more widely by the Confederacy, but due to its unusual shape and it relatively poor fame, I see TLG going more towards the Malevolence or the Invisible Hand. ("Separtist frigate" isn't good enough for the 'Star Wars Specialist'. ) Also, TLG probably wouldn't release a CIS ship without including a main character/hero like Grievous or Dooku.

Nice army, legopiotre! I see you have a great many sets and only a couple of multiples. Do you have big Rebel and Imperial armies too? I'd love to see pics. -
That is the Open Circle Fleet symbol. It signifies that this Venator belongs to the Open Circle Fleet. Can't wait for the rest of your review, Bricks!

I think I can speak for KimT in his absence when I say that all this discussion of which German shops the new sets are being sold in belongs in the 'Star Wars sets anyone?' thread. EDIT: Penguin, jansued mentions at the start of his Hoth Base review that he bought the CA Tank droid too. We may see a review of it soon.

Thanks a lot. There'll be more here soon. If there's any you think I've missed, please let me know and I'll get right on it. About the Covert Ops trooper, I'd never seen that design before so it was interesting to make it. Thanks. Same as above: if you've any more requests, please let me know. OFF-TOPIC GAME INFO CloneCommanderDelta7 has brought to my attention that the game is played by people all over the world, so it can be difficult to keep up when you live on the opposite side of the globe to me. Because of this, the 10-hour rule is now the 24-hour rule. This means I will change the question at the same time on the following day. This also means I won't have to change it in the middle of the night. btw. Your folder isn't public yet so I can't see the pics.

You're welcome to make mine, if you wish.

Added 38th Armoured Divison Trooper (Phase 1) Added Combat Engineer Battalion Trooper (Phase 1) Added Clone Assassin (Phase 1) Added Sky Corps Trooper (Phase 1) OFF-TOPIC GAME INFO In addition to the new rules stated, I'd like to introduce a new rule relating to the time for which question is available. The maximum time a question will last for is now 10 hours. If nobody answers correctly within 10 hours of the question being uploaded, I will change the question to another of the same topic. This will keep the game moving and prevent hard questions being around for a week. Hope this is okay with everyone.
