  1. I don't think this makes much sense. How could the Templie investigator's result be a Scum defence? Vote: Voolvif Monn (JackJonespaw) I don't think much of an explanation is necessary. As others have just stated, he's been acting scummy in one way or another throughout this ordeal and still fails to give any kind of defence. Master Monn, you've seen from Euna's situation how no defence does not favour the Jedi in any way, so I would have expected you to make more of an effort. This lynch has been put off for too long, so hopefully this will get our Sith streak back on track.
  2. Thanks guys! What happened to those links, CTS? Apologies for the wait, while I've been at home, but I have some more 501st troops to add today... Added: Rex (Phase I - 501st Legion) Coric (Phase I - 501st Legion) Denal (Phase I - 501st Legion) Ged (Phase I - 501st Legion) Cameron (Phase I - 501st Legion) Koho (Phase I - 501st Legion) Ridge (Phase I - 501st Legion) Torrent Company Trooper (Phase I - 501st Legion)
  3. I was going to radically bring this point back up with a vote, but I guess it would be better for Master Monn to defend himself first. He's avoided a lynch for far too long and action is needed; not just words!
  4. I don't particularly like to think this is the case, but I cannot argue with your logic. Either Coryn has been surrounded by some unfortunate coincidences, or he's a Sith, and I'm starting to believe the second option more. I think Artoo's message to you was written in such a way so that you would not get a clue as to whether or not Master Kenobi has an action, so I'm inclined to trust that Obi-Wan is telling the truth.
  5. "I shall sign up for Quest 35" says a well-rested Ad-Hoh as he signs his name on the Questboard once again.
  6. Hello everyone. Today I bring my villain for the Batman Minifig Customisation Contest. Harlon Black was born with a rare mutation that caused bony growths on his skull which protruded from his head like horns. He was once an innocent child, who remained kind and good-spirited despite the abuse from his peers. As the years went on, and insults like 'freak' and 'demon child' became more and more common, Black's hatred for these people grew. Eventually, one night when a bully confronted him in an alleyway, something inside him snapped and Harlon attacked the boy. His anger took over him and he eventually strangled the bully to death. From then on, Harlon changed. His personality grew darker and his lust for revenge increased. He began to keep a list of all who had teased and humiliated him, tracking them down one by one and killing them. With a different supervillain in the Gotham news every week, Black adopted his own alter ego: Diablo. He fashioned himself an outfit of black robes with an impressive cape, and had his face covered with black and red tattoos to enhance his fearsome appearance. Today, Harlon Black is a metallurgist at a weapons-making factory near Gotham. He used the equipment there to secretly forge a three pointed axe-like weapon with which he gruesomly murders his bullies. More recently, he constructed a flamethrower gauntlet which he has added to his arsenal, to burn the remains of his victims. A view of the fig from the side A view of the fig from the back And the fig complete with weapons and head mask. He was inspired mainly by the several new promos I obtained from The Sun and Smyths: Batman, Ninjago, Darth Maul, etc. The figure showcased on an 8x8 vignette: Further pictures can be found in this folder, when it becomes public. Cost: Estimated at £5.29, based on the lowest current Bricklink prices per part, including weapons and mask and excluding head (cost unknown). Comments and criticisms welcome. Thanks for looking.

  9. I think what he was meaning was 'if you do turn out to be a Templie, you were useless and so you won't be missed'. I doubt any Sith would be so stupid as to publicly announce how good it would be for a Jedi to have died.
  10. My thoughts exactly! You really aren't behaving in a pro-Jedi way, Euna, and you definitely seem to be the best lynch choice today. I guess we will see how it turns out tomorrow. Vote: Euna Iladru (Jedi master Brick)
  11. Hello everyone. Today I'm sharing my entry to Category C of the Batman Minifig Customisation Contest, hosted by the very generous LuxorV and The Penguin. Here is my ordinary Gothamite... Dmitri Petrov is a Kaznian-born man who moved to Gotham several years ago to study and teach at Gotham University. Dmitri was born in the Eastern European nation of Kaznia where he was raised well by a traditional and loving family. When he came of age, Dmitri joined the Kaznian Army where he became a well-known military officer. Following his service in the army, he began studying economics at the university of his home city, before transferring to Gotham University after earning his degree, renowned as the smartest in his year! Another year of impressive study for his Masters degree passed and he is now, at 25, the Curator and Vice Head of the Masters Degree Department, as well as a much-loved lecturer of economics subjects, primarily to international students like himself. Dmitri speaks very good English and settled into Gotham quickly. He even developed friendship with the illustrious businessman Oswald Cobblepot, commonly known as The Penguin. It is even rumoured that The Penguin rewarded Petrov with a custom-made umbrella (pictured) after Dmitri helped him out of a small financial crisis not long ago. A gentleman of such class as Dmitri is rarely seen wearing anything other than the smartest and most formal contents of his wardrobe when in public. Today he is sporting his brand new top hat, a luxurious fur coat made from only the most ferocious Kaznian bear, over a pristine black suit and dark green waistcoat. He is also carrying his bespoke umbrella and briefcase. A view of the fig from the side A view of the fig from the back I was inspired to make this entry by a certain friend of mine who some of you may be familiar with. The two are fairly similar. The figure showcased on an 8x8 vignette: Here stands Dmitri in a corridor/courtyard of Gotham University during the winter time (note the icicles and footprints in the snow - nothing compared to Kaznian winter!) And here he is in his office above complete with desk, chair, lamp and blackboard for making notes. Further pictures can be found in this folder, when it becomes public. Cost: Estimated at £1.00 exactly, based on the lowest current Bricklink prices per part, including umbrella variations and briefcase. I'm not a very skilled or daring customiser, and so I prefer to keep to purist customisation. It may not be as impressive, but the most simple yet effective combinations can often be found within LEGO's own selection of parts. Comments and criticisms (and votes ) welcome. Thanks for looking.
  12. Sorry, I wasn't mocking you. I didn't know who they were either.
  13. Who is 'Sherlock'? Just kidding!
  14. Hmm, not a good night at all. If Threepio's allegiance was hidden by a Janitor, why have we not seen any of his work previously? Is it likely to only be a one-time ability?
  15. Thanks, Superkalle. I've edited the model and updated my post above. Oops! Thank you, Calabar.
  16. Alright, I'm not as confident about today's vote as the previous two, but I think I'll have to go with the majority and... Vote: C-3PO (Brickdoctor) The most likely explanation is that you are Scum, whether converted recently or somewhat protected by Windu's bluffing on Day One, and are responsible for the clues given to us by Hugar. You gave a decent defence, and I expected nothing less than that from you, but I think lynching you is the right thing to do today.
  17. Thank you. Guess I'll make him grey then. Added: Fox (Phase I - Coruscant Guard) Stone (Phase I - Coruscant Guard) Riot Clone Trooper (Phase I - Coruscant Guard) Shock Trooper (Phase I - Coruscant Guard) Updated: Rancor Battalion ARF Trooper (Phase I - ARC Troopers)
  18. Thank you, Master Mundi. I found it myself after I notice Luminara had left. Alright, I'm becoming convinced that Hugar did receive information about the cop/shrink as it seems he did not get that information in-thread. I assume that as Sherlock is said cop/shrink, you, Coryn, trust his word that he told no one but the three Cs? And Zane is the protector (?), who you trust as well, but you consider him a possibility, if he does know. So apart from you, that leaves two possible traitors and an unlikely traitor? So it seems like there is some room for leaks to appear.
  19. Interesting. Do you have this quote to hand, Master Luminara?
  20. Again? I made it quite clear that I was not specifically referring to your statement alone, but all similar statements said today. I didn't think I would have to quote every single one, but apparently I will in future to avoid 'annoying' (not sure how; my point seems like a perfectly valid counter to the common opinion) sensitive people such as yourself. In case you weren't aware, not everybody shares your point of view. People are able to question another's beliefs without 'having a go at them', if not simply to point out flaws in such a plan. Maybe the entire plan was not intended by you, but after reading through many comments all suggesting that we lynch Threepio and then Coryn if that turns out to be a bad move, I thought simply quoting the most recent post relating to that topic would be acceptable. I apologise if that upset or offended you. And there's no need for you to hold a grudge against me purely because I raised your name as a suspect. That is the aim of all the Templies here, and so I was only trying to help my team by doing so. How am I not being helpful? I'm trying to help people to see the bigger picture: that Threepio is not a confirmed Sith by any means and he could well be telling the truth. Sheepishly voting with everyone else would not be nearly as helpful. It does matter. There are these things called 'manners' and 'respect' which most people usually use when communicating with others. I do not like the way you are being unnecessarily aggressive towards me. How hypocritcal of you to call me 'useless'... Really? We should look at the droid's allegiance and think of lynching somebody tomorrow too?! I had never thought of that! Thank you so much for bringing that to the attention of the group!
  21. What?! I never accused you of anything. Many others raised similar points but yours was the easiest to quote at the time. Don't get so defensive! And I'm not trying to be cute! This is a dangerous situation we're in, and besides, my famous grin is cute enough. I didn't say that you would want to vote off Coryn, but lots of other people have said he would be an obvious choice for a lynch if C-3PO turns out to be innocent. It was related to what I was saying, so I didn't think I'd have to go back and find someone who raised such a point to stop you getting so touchy. And judging by what I just said: no, I obviously don't think that would be a good idea. That was the whole point of my last post. You need to calm down and stop being so aggressive, my old Padawan. Just because I have been suspicious of you for things you did on Day One doesn't mean you need to get so angry with me. I've done nothing wrong. Those suspicions were starting to fade, so you don't have to have such a go at me. If you listened to what I said, you'll find I said "shrugged off as 'too bad'", meaning I thought the situation would be worse than just giving a couple of disappointed words, and I also said that about having potentially lost two active Templies, not just C-3PO, and so we would of course be in trouble compared to if we still had both working to destroy the Sith. And just so you know, this: 'Come on. Really? I mean, really??' is, as you say, 'not helpful in any way either'. Not so simply, as I said that all of the droids defences combined seem more convincing than Coryn's suspicions, but yes, I think that could be possible, and I don't need you trying to force your views on me. C-3PO possibly being innocent was my whole point. Maybe he is the best bet, as I can't find anyone who has seemed overly suspicious to me. Master Monn's slip up about saying there were five, or seven, or however many Scum you confused yourself into noticing was suspicious, sure, so there are other options. It seems my vote won't do much to sway the bandwagon that's already formed on Threepio anyway, so why are you so concerned where I place it? I have done all my reasoning and stated it all on Day One. Like I said, those suspicions were starting to go, but I'm perfectly entitled to go after whoever I think may be Scum in the interests of protecting my beloved Jedi Order, so I don't need you telling me what I can and can't do, young one. You really are an unpleasant little fish and I hope Grievous does you in again soon.
  22. No worries. Thanks for bringing it up. I thought that too when I watched Clone Cadets/ARC Troopers the other day, but when I went back to look for it, I couldn't find it, so I'm not certain. The three ARF's I've found are this (plain body), this (full length arm stripe - coming soon with Wolfpack), and this (no visible upper arm stripe, though possible; I'll need another look - posted yesterday). Looking at that Wolfpack pic, the other troops seem to be a similar colour to the ARF, yet they're grey, so could it be possible that the ARF too is grey? I can't see any logical reason why the red 'Rancor Battalion ARF Trooper' would be there. EDIT: I rewatched the scene in Clone Cadets and the ARF trooper on the right definitely has full length arm stripes. It's difficult to tell on the other other trooper, but I can't see why they'd be different, so I'll update my version soon.
  23. And then what? We vote off Coryn who turns out to be Jedi too who just made a mistake and Threepio was telling the truth the whole time? Then we've lost our two most useful, vocal, coordinating Templies, which I can't really see us shrugging off as 'too bad'. We'll be in trouble. In all honesty, the droid's defences do seem rather reasonable, and I don't think Coryn's case is as condemning as should be for such a quick vote off. It's highly possible that Hugar was a Sith framer and, if it went into that much detail, his role PM could have informed him off the lightsaber switching. I believe Master Corobb had mentioned a Shrink/Serial Killer before Hugar did and the private conversations between C-3PO and Coryn seem to imply some mixed thoughts coming from the latter, which weakens his case in my eyes and makes it seem that he isn't as confident as he makes himself out to be. I shall have to hold off voting for the time being.
  24. Exactly. If you follow where the ridge would be upwards from the top of the kneepad, the blue stripe is just a little way away on the edge, like in the picture. Added: Rancor Battalion ARF Trooper (Phase I - ARC Troopers) Bravo Squad Cadet (Phase I - Bravo Squad) Hawkeye (Phase I - Others) Kosmos (Phase I - Others) Trapper (Phase I - Others) Silver (Phase I - Others)
  25. Why so when it's obviously possible? Is the grill slope too wide? Hmm, I see. You mean the pin goes through the technic plate and the curved slope/bow and collides with the plate stuck on top? There doesn't seem to be room for the wider 'lip' of the pin, such as if you were to put the pin through the technic plate and stick an ordinary plate on top. It shouldn't be allowed.
