David, I can't PM yet as I'm a new user on this forum, but I've been lurking for quite awhile and found your posts and youtube videos very informative. I want to turn my little bro's Unimog I got him for xmas into RC. From what I gather on your youtube clip, I'd need a receiver, remote, xl motor, and m motor. Do I need anything else such as gears? (the video shows gears and parts I need but I dunno what they are on the lego site, and I dunno if I can just find them in the 8110 kit)
Also, Do I use the battery box provided? wont this kill the original 8110's power functions?
If you could let me know what other parts (aside from the 4 I listed, and if any at all)I would need to order that'd be great. Trying to make one quick order and be done with, first time dealing with Technic mods haha.
