  1. Ant-Man has potential to be a good licence - and Marvel are going to want to really push his brand given him being a tougher sell. There's potentially four marketable characters too - Ant-Man, Yellowjacket, Crossfire, and possibly Wasp. Throw in Hank Pym as the civilian in peril and have Ant-Man in each set, and it could easily carry a wave, even if it is two $20 sets.
  2. Ant-Man starts filming on the 18th I believe, it'll be very much on the radar then I imagine
  3. War Machines a cameo and Falcon isn't confirmed, and if so he's probably only a cameo too... Highly doubt they'd get sets.
  4. In the movie the Hulkbuster is only a little taller than Hulk... I doubt it'd be too huge in the set
  5. Hulkbuster will almost certainly be brick built, and would be better that way
  6. I wouldn't really look at past years for any sort of comparison set wise - in 2012 there was only one major Marvel movie and in 2013 Lego had to produce sets for Man of Steel as well. Thor and The Winter Soldier didn't have huge marketing pushes either - both Avengers and Ant-Man will
  7. The first movie had four, and given the bigger marketing pushes Marvel has been making recently I'd say five is likely - although they're also going to be pushing Ant-Man within a similar time frame as well, so I'd expect at least one set for that movie.
  8. Someone on ebay has em
  9. That would be ridiculously expensive The room where the final confrontation takes place would be more reasonable
  10. Only going to get two if possible, the gold armour and the Mark 1.
  11. Rocket being to big would be more excusable if they'd made Groot not so ridiculously oversized
  12. Hulks pants also aren't ripped in the film - they're stretchy special ones - so it'd have to be a new mould
  13. If I had to guess, I'd say we'll probably see SDCC Rocket in a poly bag, but with all red-legs instead of the multi-colour ones. In a perfect world there would be a minifig-scale Groot either in there or as a DVD/BluRay preorder bonus as well.
  14. As much as I'd love that Rocket in a poly bag, I'd much prefer a minifig scale Groot, with Woody-length arms and legs. The current one is horrible
  15. They'll have seen Avengers material and concept art, though. All of those mentioned have different outfits too. I'd be very surprised if any of them had the same printing.
  16. I think we'll see Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, Ultron, Von Strucker, an Ultron Drone, and Vision, plus a brick-built Hulkbuster. Maybe Falcon as a bonus with orders over ___ amount. Given Rhodey, Maria Hill and Nick Fury will only have small roles at best, I doubt we'll see minifigs for them.
  17. Yondu barely has a Mohawk in the movie anyway.
  18. EDIT: Beaten to it Really annoyed the Collectors an exclusive. *sigh*
  19. Lego just seem to choose illogical characters / sets for these exclusives. It's the hardcore comic fans who go to these things - this set would be a big hit outside that market as well.
  20. This would have been a whole lot better if this variant was the prison Rocket, and the actual set came with the GotG Rocket. Lego will never learn aha
  21. The plus side is one of the various bootleg companies will inevitably produce a clone of the variant Rocket.
  22. What! Really wanted Rocket in his Guardians uniform... People are going to sell this for a ton. Ugh.
  23. Would be a nice opportunity to get Falcon, considering we missed out on TWS sets
