Hello, i was wondering if anyone who has put this set together could answer a question for me. I just finished it and have a few extra stickers. I looked back through the instructions and cant seem to find where they go. I have two stickers that go on 1x2x5 bricks left. They are red with a hogwarts crest at the top. It came with four, but and i used two but cant seem to find where the other two go. I also have 2 1x1 gryffindor shields and a slytherin shield and a larger slytherin sheild. Does anyone know if these are supposed to be extras or if theres a spot for them? i ve never had a set with extra stickers before. Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone on here knows of a way to combine all 5 hogwarts castle sets together. I think it would be pretty cool. It would be even better if you combined all of the classroom sets or if there was a way to. I recently acquired the last castle set from the order of pvhoenix subtheme. It is a very cool set but I think I want to put it on a display with the other four castles so that it may appear that there is only one castle. Does anyone know how to do this? Any ideas wouldbe greatly appreciated. It also made me wonder whether anyone has build a large scale hogwarts moc. I saw a post of a small scale MOC the other day and it was amazing.

hello lego community. I was posting for some help in building this set, Batman 7783 THe batcave. I bought the peices to it on ebay but it didnt come with any instructions. I know the instructions are on the lego website along with a few other websites but every version i find is extremely difficult to read. The problem is that the black peices all blend in with each other and there is one part where i cant even tell which peices they are using. The part im stuck on is the 2nd or third section (its either mr freeze's or penguins vehicle/sled thing). On step number five, they put a few black peices on the back of the vehicle. I cant tell which peice/peices they are putting on the back of it. Its kind of embarrassing asking this because legos are very easy to put together when following the instructions and i feel like a failed Le-Goer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I could use some help from any that are willing. Here are pictures of my partially complete infirmary. Im struggling with this. The first picture is what i saw and decided to model my MOC after. (if anyone has any better pictures of it please let me know.)But anyway when i went off to build it, my internet was down and i could not pull up the picture i was going to reference leaving me to build from memory. Once i finishd and could get online i realized my MOC was pretty far off. I posted it on here because i know you guys will give me some good feedback to make my final alterations before i submit. Thanks. Hope you like it. infirmaryscreenshot by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 51 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 50 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 49 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 48 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 47 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 46 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 45 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 44 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 43 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr The things i think im changing after seeing the pictures are: I tried to use light greys on one side of the floor with dark greys on the other to seem like there was a shadow from sun coming through the window but i cant tell if it worked or not. Change the color of the cabinet probably white to make the picture look brighter. Make the sink smaller make the indention in the back wall the doors to get in instead of a little room with a bookcase (i could have swore it was just a little corridor with a window when i saw the picture first but it looks like that may just be the hall way.

If i put this in the wrong forum i truly apologize as it was not my intention to anger or upset anyone with the location of this. but....... i just so happened to purchase a burrows, hagrids hut, star wars AT TE and a lot of extra legos like 8 lbs worth. The owner says the only other set besides harry potter that would be in the lot is the AT TE. Which means that i have a lot of legos to other Harry Potter sets which is what they look like anyway. There are a couple unique parts that im trying to figure out which sets they would belong to, that way i can get the instructions and put them together. Does anyone have any tips for me on finding part lists or part identification numbers to figure out which sets they were used in? or any advice at all on the matter. Thanks in advance. Again, if i put this in the wrong forum i truly apologozie and i wasnt trying to cause trouble or upset anyone.

how do someone get a job with lego? how cool would that be honestly.. well i work for lego and my job is to watch harry potter movies and read the books and come up with lego sets according to different locations and scenes in the movie...... wow i wouldnt even need paid that much to have that career. makes me jealous just thinking of it. But anyway, I have had some great ideas for new Harry Potter sets although i dont think i will ever get to see them. Although i dont know much about this, i believe star wars released an "Ultimate Collectors Series" and im not sure if this was released after the main production of legos or during but i could definitely see Harry Potter releasing something similiar to this. The sets would be larger, prob around 100-150 a peice but would be built for display purposes. I have the TIE Interceper and it comes with a face plate that has a description of the ship and dimensions. So i could definitely see Harry Potter doing something along these lines. As i do agree that the Star wars universe is larger (just in terms of it existing in the entire universe with multiple planets rather than a "secret" society if you may hidden in one world, i would not bet that star wars has that many more fans than harry potter especially if you would consider how long its been out. Harry Potter is an extremely popular series in all countries and as im not as familiar with how popular star wars is over seas (im from the USA) i know that it is very popular here but so is HP, especially with younger kids. And HP is argueably the most successful film series to date, which is most of the reason why star wars gets so much hype now. So i definitely dont see this as being the end of HP LEGO. But done with my random speeling, These would be my ideas, I would love a better hogwarts, i just got into collecting harry potter sets and dont have many but i do have 3 hogwarts sets, (all of them besides the one with the clock) and i must say that im disappointed. I mean, they are definitely awesome, but i agree that a much bigger better hogwarts would be awesome. And i really like the idea of doing them in different sets like an Ultimate Hogwarts Collectors Series. i think the trainstation with maybe a carriage and boathouse would be a cool one, the great hall, One common room with many stars that maybe could rotate on swivels to different paintings for entrance the common rooms a couple class rooms the chamber of secrets (with moaning murtles bathroom on the top floor of it) The astronomy tower room of requirement( i would make this two fold, part of it being the room of hidden junk and the other being the training room from order of the phoenix. dumbledores office, the bridge and courtyard in the back There are more i thought of earlier but i cant think of them right now, the pictures of these in my head look awesome i wish i was creative enough to build them out lol The one i would be most excited about seeing would be a department of mysteries for the minister of magic. Just think of how cool and semi easy it would be to make, a hallway with a few fire places, a common room with the center fountain with the muggles under the rock, room of prophecies, and the room of the battle with lucius malfoy and the other death eaters from order of the phoenix. maybe even a room with a courtroom appearance from DH2 or the people printing the why half bloods are bad booklets.

Hello all, im not new to legos but I am pretty new to the online following of it. I never really knew how many different themes there were as I was really only into pirates and castle. However I found this set w the rest of my sets and w iff as wondering if anyone could provide me with some information about it. Who piloted the TIE intercepter? Is it a valueable legovpeice? Like I said im not very much into star wars so if its worth any money I would love to put it on ebay and sell it to buy some sets I want. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
yes that helps, i wasnt aware it was just a one peice. I couldnt tell if you built it with bricks or not and it was the square wooden box that i was talking abou.t

how did you make the trash can?

ill take the infirmary if its open.... i have a pretty good idea for it. Have alot of work mtgs this week so ill probably get started weds or thurs.

Thanks guys, i was about 10 bricks short of what i originally decided to do and placed an order on bricklink so when those bricks come in i will change the floor to a greyish stone floor that looked pretty sweet. But i decided to put this down for now just to get rid of the green. The only reason i put the trophy cabinet (although it says james potter) is because i read on the wiki that flitwick was supposedly a champion dueler because of his knowledge of charms. WIth that being said i figured hed want to brag about the trophies hed won. I could probably make a another trophy an ex-nay on the cabinet ill make that update when my floor peices come in.

did you make that on a computer digitally?

I feel the same way on everything you said. The only reason i used the red bricks in the back was because in the picture they looked red. But i agree it does stand out because of the brightness of the Red. As far as the floor, i also agree, unfortunately i dont have enough tiles to cover it and i couldnt find a creative way to cover some of it without the rest so if you have any advice how to do that i would definitely comply. And as far as the random printed tiles, thats all i had also lol (sounds like i need to build up my collection alot. I saw that thier were frames in the picture and i was just trying to put stuff up that looked like they could be portraits or something that would be framed. The reason the map is on the table on the left is because im not creative and couldnt think what to put on there. I already had the torches on the front and it was either something like that or a plate with some cherries in it lol. Ill try to figure something out though. If anyone has any advice of what to put on the little table i would appreciate that also.

Well This is my first community build and also the first time i have ever built something not following the instructions. I would appreciate any tips, advice, or construcive criticism as i am new to the "creating my own" building. After seeing the two offices posted before mine i considered not posting mine at all but i guess the only way ill get better is by learning from the best . I tried to model it after the first picture and then added some of my own ideas with it. 660px-CharmsClassroom by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 82 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 78 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 77 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 68 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 74 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 73 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 72 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 70 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr 69 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr

WEll this was my first community build. And honestly the first time i have ever tried to make my own thing without following the directions that came with the set. So any constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated as i am not very in tune with the different tricks or techniques to design your own lego sets. I have quite a few pics as i couldnt get a very good picture with the camera i have. charm14 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr charm7 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr charm12 by jhc2nmfn, on Flickr

Ah sorry for being a pest, but i have the pictures uploaded to my flickr account. For some reason they are huge files compared considering i only have 100k of space on here( each file is around 700kb) Does anyone know how to shrink the files or a solution to get them posted? i apologize for being illiterate.

Does anyone have any tips as far as taking pictures of and posting my MOC. This is the first time I have done anything like this and im very happy with the way it turned out but every picture I take does not give it the credit I feel it deserves. Not saying that it is awesome or anything, just by seeing the ones that are submitted already I know im probably behind and have alot of learning to do,but the pictures are just dark and make it look bad.any tips would be greatly appreciated.its funny also, after looking on the internet I ve found thay the charms class has two different depictions in the movie so hopefully I chose the right one.

What is the Room of Requirement griffindor, hufflepuff, ravenclaw hide out? Are we only allowed to do one room? i got super excited about this last night and built all night (sucked this morning waking up to go to work) but im almost done probably will be by tonight tomorrow and wouldnt mind participating more.
-
I am assuming were taking pictures of these and sending them in correct? so with that being said should it be more of a view of the room from one wall or from the top. Ex. i have the charms room, so should i make the room have all four walls and take a picture from the top of it or would it be better to give the room 3 walls and take a picture from the view point of the missing wall like your looking in. I found this hard to explain so if it doesnt make sense i apologize.

Ill do the charms class room for gryfindor (sp?) please if thats not open ill pick something else

Is this full alreaady? Can i do a room? Do we just build it at home with our bricks and take pictures of it?
