  1. Great story! I can't wait to see how things turn out for our lovely maiden!
  2. Welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay here. You will find that many peolple here have the same interests as you. I hope you have a wonderful time and make some new friends. I know I have!
  3. Very true, my friend! Thses two sets both look amazing to me. I can't wait to get my hands on a red clone commando! The twilight doesn't look that bad to me, though. It's pathetic structure and odd shape is actually growing on me. (Like the rogue shadow! )
  4. I think you did a good job! It was clever to use the red dots as ants in order to compenstae for the lack of the molded ones. I like the jeep, but where did you get those stickers for it? Please tell me! Anyway, I like the way you constructed Mack and your "makeshift" crystal skull. Excellent work!
  5. Welcome! I can see your wonderful enthusiasm for the hobby will be a great contribution to the site itself! Your interset in castle lego will certainly be welcomed here as well. Enjoy your stay at eurobricks.
  6. Couldn't have siad it better myself! I agree with all of your suggestions, lego.ryan! One of my favorite parts pack is the imperial star destroyer. (the one with minifigs! ) Whenever I need some gray pieces I always find myself using parts from that set.
  7. Looks great! I like the simalarity to the Sentai Fortress whereas it still bears your own originality. Excellent job and keep up the good work!
  8. Whoa, calm down buddy. I personally like the idea of impulse sets and I don't think this sort of reaction is necessary if you don't like them. This is great news for some lego fans, so please don't spoil it for others.
  9. Awesome! I can't wait for a clearer picture of this set. The Agents sub looks great witth all the dark blue and window pieces. from what I can make out, the bad guys seem to have a boat or a skiff of some kind. This is a nice a addition to the agents line, no doubt!
  10. Oh! I know exactly what set that head is from! I have it from a spider-man set. The set was the one with doctor octopuse's research building with an ambulance. That head is from the mini-fig ambulance driver.
  11. When everyone says they want a non-light up mace windu I think they mean that they want one that is much easier to obtain. By the time the turbo tank was re-issued, everyone already had the tank to begin with. (At least that was my situation, anyway. ) I wish they would have designed the sets first and THAN let us vote. I have a very hard time making wild speculatuions voting for something that I have no re-assurance for. Our "favored" set could turn out to be the crappiest. With the pessimism aside, only time will tell.
  12. Well, to shine some perspective on my encounter, I am 15 years old. Despite my younger age I believe that I am mature enough to converse with fellow adult fans of lego here on eurobricks because of my maturity and respect for them. I suppose my mishap was not that serious in retrospect, but I was worried I humiliated a hard core lego fan. I think it is truly inspiring that a grown man (or woman! ) can play with the marvelous bricks that he/she loves without any shred of embaresment.
  13. Thanks, Ras! Come to think of it, I might have actually known about this guy. I do know for a fact that a brickshelf star wars creator does make dioramas for my lego store. His username is ACPin, I believe. He makes outstanding creations and I wish I could of asked. Oh, and I think Mr. Customizer is right. be sure to tell me how your experiment works!
  14. I agree with you there, Brickmaster , but I feel bad for not explaining myself to him regarding my outburst. I think it was very stupid of me to do that. I don't want to hurt anyone's feeilngs. Lego is nothing to be ashamed of, but feelings can still be hurt.
  15. For the past week or so I feel that I insulted or generated some awkward feelings to an adult fan of lego. Do not get me wrong, I love lego and I admire the older fans of lego; mostly with their tactfullness, passion, and skill with our beloved hobby. I feel with all my heart that lego is something that does not have to be out-grown, but I feel I made a terrible blunder a little while ago. My friend and I were excited because the new indiana jones sets had just come out. We ran to the lego store in bridge water commons, New Jersey's only lego store, and were running happilly to the door. We were worried that they would be sold out, until we saw an afol carrying two bags filled with lego store brick buckets and multiples of all the new indiana jones sets. Surprised with his huge haul, I looked at him and yelled, whoa! Look at all that lego! I ran off and did not get his full reaction, but he may have interpreted my outburst as saying he was too old for lego. I may be overeacting, but I did regret my outburst and worried if I demoralized a fan of lego. I know for a fact that lego is for all ages, and as members of eurobricks we can all beam with pride when we reflect on the awesome hobby known as lego. I feel it is great that adults and kids alike deserve our chersihed bricks. What about you? Have you ever recieved disrespect from the younger fans or even older fans about your obssession? How did you overcome it? Feel free to discuss your feelings about my encounter as well as yours.
  16. This was definately a hard choice. Personally, I thought they all sounded like good sets and I would not mind no matter what the outcome. I guess the best choice for me was the mon calimari cruiser.
  17. Looks cool to me! I think it is interesting that you utilize the droid perspective. Keep up the good work!
  18. I have noticed some problems with the leg printing on my indiana jones figures. They look somewhat faded and printed at the wrong angle. However, I have noticed that minifigure legs are a lot more stiff. They can barely budge sometimes and take a while to break in. I can't complain though, it sounds a lot better than having them fall off!
  19. [i also don't see how it makes commercial sense for Lego to manufacture large quantities of Castle 08 sets in February and then warehouse them for 8 months! So true, so true. I live in the U.S and managed to get the battle wheel in march. Now, there was absolutely none in sight,. However, I managed to plunder my share of Indiana Jones sets! However, where the heck are the castle sets lego?
  20. The figs look great! The natives and the skeleton conquistador are my favorite figures in the set. The set itself is very good. The interior sort of reminds me of an older style lego set for some reason. It could be just me, but it has a classic feel. This will a great set to add to my list! Great review! (So far, anyway. i only saw the back of the box!)
  21. This looks fun, but since I can't even work on my own comic because of school, I do not want to get too involved. However, this is a great idea, Jim! I will be sure to keep track of the events here! (300th post, baby!)
  22. MTT, hands down. You might want a large army of droids, but do you want a large army of droids with megaphones with lights on them? the MTT is definately worth the wait, my friend.
  23. A dewback with levers for eyes and its appendages replaced with jets attached to a stormtrooper? Now I have seen everything! However, it is still awesome. I love it!
  24. That design is very innovative! It looks great! One of the best parts about lego is the surprising combinations an element can create. Keep up the good work.
