  1. Managed to complete the series a couple of weeks ago YAY. I'm studying in London this year and have easy access to LEGO stores (going to miss that a lot when I go back home). Two of the guys who worked there offered to help me search and we stood there for a really long time. In the end one of them even turned out to be Norwegian It was a great visit. My favorites this time has to be the Genie and the Spooky Goth girl. Overall I think this series is a lot better than the previous one (11).
  2. Thanks! I think I like the Luke Skywalker one (because of the light eyebrows and similar cheek details), or maybe Han Solo. The challenge with Lockhart is that he's so darn stupid and can't have too much of an evil/clever grin. I'll just have to buy some of them and see how it looks I guess :D Just thought I'd ask here first in case I was overlooking something very obvious.
  3. Hey! I recently bought this Gilderoy Lockhart minifig to add to my HP collection, but he's really standing out with his yellow head and I don't like it. (Don't get me wrong, I love yellow heads too, just not in combination with flesh heads) Do you guys happen to know if there's a similar sleazy/jolly flesh head out there that I can replace this one with? Here's the original dude in case you need a reference: (Isn't he great)
  4. (Wow this thread is old, sorry about that. Fits the theme though) This set was the property of my older sister I think, but I remember playing with it just as much as/more than she did I'm gonna have to search for this the next time I go home now.
  5. Hey there, just wanted to say I love your avatar! :)

Oh hi, thanks! Ginny's not my all time favorite HP minifig, but I like her (and the pose) ;]

  6. I really do. LEGO Harry Potter was the thing that made me become an AFOL in the first place (at least it pushed me over the edge). I own all the flesh colored minifigures and 2010-2011 sets but I still want MORE Same dude same.
  7. 100% collector (with main focus on minifigures). I have thought about building stuff from time to time though, so maybe it'll happen someday
  8. He thinks it's "cool", but nothing more. He's a very childish person in general though, so it kinda bugs me that he doesn't enjoy it like I do I love sharing LEGO.
  9. I'm just too excited about this. It can't be healthy. That is one handsome minifig
  10. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) My boyfriend loves everything space. Me, not so much. It was alright though
  11. I don't know exactly. According to Brickset I've used $855, but I'm pretty sure that's too cheap. I live in Norway after all In 2011 I bought: All the Harry Potter sets from 2010-2011 (and the older minifigs) Queen Anne's Revenge Winter Village Bakery A couple of Lego books (Star Wars and HP) Some small sets from Kingdoms and Pharaoh's Quest I didn't start buying sets until october though, so I think LEGO is going to steal more of my money in 2012
  12. Haha. Good point This is just perfect. I'm both envious and inspired!
  13. I've loved every single set in the Harry Potter series, so I'm a little sad that I can't afford the really old ones. But at least I've collected most of the minifigures As far as I can see the sets are still pretty popular in the stores here. No reason to stop making them just yet! *strict voice* I know I'd pay a lot for a couple of Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff torsos.
  14. Thank you! I check out the forum sometimes, but I haven't really felt the need to register yet because of the low activity there. I guess I'm also a little freaked out by the fact that the majority of members are men over 40
  15. Thanks! Yes, I've seen it, but I just can't afford anything right now. Too many sets to buy
