  1. I wonder if anyone will be @ GenCon this year to show these off...
  2. Skeletons are all over the place. Its the unique machinery and weapons that Ogel uses to draw forth new skeletons from whenever he happens to be.
  3. Even not knowing what you do in development, that makes sense. Marketing or sales come to mind for those who would use them the most effectively.
  4. That. Is. AWESOME! Man-o-man what cool way to do things. Thanks for the find.
  5. Very cool! I can't wait to see more of the "steampunk style" at this years BrickFair. (in the DC area...)
  6. A new note... Latest News: 2/22/2009 We are pleased to announce seminars already scheduled for BrickFair 2009. Will Chapman (you know, the BrickArms guy) will give a presentation about his custom molding creations. And Joe Meno (you know, the AFOL community's Abraham Lincoln) will present on BrickJournal. And even more, Joe will also speak about his fantastic trip to Saudi Arabia where he used LEGO in a college orientation. If you'd like to speak for an hour about a niche LEGO subject that's close to your heart, we'd surely love to listen! Be a bigger part of BrickFair '09, shoot us an email to tell us about your angle. Requests from last year included: Train layout design, LDraw, Robotics building, Mindstorms programming, Collection insurance and Sturdy large-scale building design. And for you Bingo fans, we heard your plea; seminars are scheduled to avoid overlapping with Bingo Grande. Oh yeah, LEGO Bingo definitely returns to BF'09 :) BrickFair comes this August 21 - 23. Mark your calendar and register today! BrickFair.com
  7. Welcome and enjoy the pics and posts!
  8. I'm a big fan of the Fright Knights. I love the bat symbol shield. I love the witch. I love the winged helmets. I think these would be the perfect idea to bring back during these Castle years... Have them fight on the side of "evil". Alongside the skellies and trolls as hired killers.
  9. The Commish! While Batman deals in justice, Gordon deals in law!
  10. Yeah - but that just proves that he's found a way to keep himself alive throughout the centuries and needs to battle the Agents as Ogel!! Okay - I swear I didn't read the above posts before making the travels through time argument myself. Just great, creative thinking on all parties behalf!
  11. Agreed. Especially when I receive a package from them in a box that could hold 2 or 3 of the specific set in and it's filled with packing material. I usually wait until the end of the year shipping-free deals or wait until I have a coupon or discount that evens out the S+H charge. Otherwise, I'll wait for TRU or a Brick and Mortar store to have it available.
  12. What are the different things you have to trade? I've got a listing of things I'm looking for, but even if you don't have anything from there, it doesn't hurt to check out a list or 2...
  13. Welcome and enjoy your time! Lots of little MOCs. Very cool!
  14. Updated! Its a whole new month...
  15. Very cool. Do you have them on separate baseplates or are you just adding on? I can't wait to see the whole series.
  16. Nicely done again! I too might have included Katherine. I was also expecting at least a blurb regarding "General Winter".
  17. Good call! I forgot about that.
  18. I use mine all the time and since my youngest (who has neither nails nor strength) has gotten her own lot of Lego to play with, I've gotten her one as well. \ Oh yeah - I just wish there were other colors sold other than green...
  19. Good stuff! I'm glad it wasn't a "Where Slurm Comes From" grossout!
  20. I wish they'd bring Ogel back in the new Agents line...
  21. Joe Meno is the head-man for Brick Journal. I didn't notice where you live but he usually shows at the various Lego-themed "conventions" around the country (and world...). As far as submissions - basically its like a job. One asks for a certain image done and you might do it for a fee or trade item.
  22. I said it when I saw the Apache warrior... Get this stuff published in Brick Journal. BTW - do you do submissions?
  23. A woman drove down ("Brick Chick" in a very appropriately painted VW bug...) last year - I think I remember her saying it took 6-8 hrs. Couple of guys also made it from the Buffalo area in the same amount of time. Its a really fun show with lots of appreciative "civilians" visiting and admiring MOCs on Sat and Sun. Here's the Brick Chick car...Bricktastic V-Dub
