Yes thats proably true but LOTR can be a long lived theme, maybe not as long as SW but many years. So it sad if we don`t get any castle themed sets in between here, cause I will not buy any of the LOTR sets. The only thing what is good that there is diffrent accesories there.

There maybe is a thread or same kind of topic already for this, but now that Kingdoms Joust is probably the last Kingdoms set. And Lotr theme is coming next summer. I hope Lego still has hidden in the sleeve, Castle themed sets to go side to side with Lotr sets. And that what I hope for is small and medium sets, like Lego town has, one minifig with accesories, some small marketplaces, town fair, with cows, pigs and other animals, and regulare villagepeople. So that you can make bigger medieval sets. That is what I would like.

I just have to give praise to you blake for this serie here on Eurobricks, altough I already did on CC. But I could not help it when I saw your creations on the frontpage. These are so great :thumbup:

This would be cool, but yes it would be too much extra work to make something like this for users to customize minifigs. I would like to know what kind of tool/machine/paint Lego uses to make the details on the minifigs. This is of course somewhat of a secret but in the same direction, that i could customize at home some of the older minfig heads and torsos that has weared out from age and use.

Does somebody know if these have been relesed in europe yet or is it them same date as US? Series 6 is going to be the best series so far easily.

I think LOTRs licence will work out great, cause there are so many LOTR fans out there, like SW fans too. I dont care for licenced sets, I have decided that I wont buy i licenced set (RALLS) but I dont care if somebody else does it. SW licence as been a good money bringer and new collecters to TLG (ofcourse Lucas as taken some of it) hopefuly LOTR will be too. So TLG can do other sets, like castle theme going side to side with LOTR theme. Dosen`t matter if Kingdoms end but if Castle theme is replaced by lotr then its bad idea. I would like to see castle themed small and medium not over priced sets, with diffrent medieval themes, that you can build bigger villages and towns, ofcourse you can do it already with the bricks you have but it would be cool if lego would continue this pattern it had here with kingdoms, make mills and stable, shops etc. like City has does small sets with one minfig and some accesories. That my rabbling babbling but and good idea to continue from here

Yes more castle related, that is what i am wishing for too. But i dont think TLG will stop making other castle related and just concentrate on LOTR. Heroes and villains from Heroica would be great as minifigs

_Oceanblue_: My opinion is that apart of Kingdoms Joust there will be no more Castle/Kingdoms sets in 2012. However as long as LOTR/Hobbit wave is running, I dare to guess that still Lego will not forget the Castle/Kingdoms fans and in next forecoming years will flatter us with an exclusive set. My personal wishes would be as follows: 2013 - A mountain Taverna Inn with lots of landscape, greenery, well and new animals - bear (fm the City sets), rocky goats ( well known fm Mill Village Raid) and some wolves. 2014 - A fortification under siege with siege towers( 2pcs), long ladders and battling ram, which perhaps can be the connection with the sets for year 2015, when I would like to see the Black Falcons in full power. I really hope to that Lego won´t forget the castle theme now that LOTR theme is coming. Joust set coming now and then LOTR sets next summer but then again I wish Lego will make some Castle/Kingdoms small sets and/or a bigger set for christmas next year. On the other hand Kingdoms theme has dissepeared from Lego official shop. So maybe this is the end of Kingdoms

Great review, I´ve thought series 5 was better when I first saw the images of series 6 but now that I read your review whitefang I`ll have to think again . Can`t wait that these comes to the stores. Whats everybodys favorit minifig in this serie? I like the Celtic warrior, sure to look for these bags
