  1. I remembered this set and I still have these mini figs in good condition, except for the missing spyrius robot. His torso is being used by Staudie. I enjoyed playing this set, as it offer wide variety of minifigs during the earlier space era, across the galaxy. Thanks for sharing. It certainly brings back lots of nice childhood memories.
  2. Please do not attempt to discuss night actions or single out players whom have night action abilities. Such actions are deemed to be interpret as game interference. The earlier message was served as a gentle reminder to all players to submit their night actions whom have one, are to send their pm to TinyPiesRUs, IN CASE he is waiting for them.
  3. Oh my gosh, it can't be! I must be dreaming. Lord Dragonator can't be alive. I saw your potrait before. When I was a boy, I used to search for old history documents in my attic which was left behind by my ancestors. I believe his name was Grim. He was the head of the Royal Guards back then, and was brutally murdered by one of the Generals whom was a scum, plotting with the smelly Rotro... something.... This place is filled with long vibrant history, which still stands after so many hundreds of years. This is a place for inspiration and great place for history to be re-told, but in a different manner. Let me offically introduce myself. My name is Dr Phillp Marshall. You may refer me as Dr Phill for short. I am a General Practitioner, working in Dratos and was graduated from the Medical Facility few years ago. I enjoyed my job very much, as it's my honour and duty to save the lives of many fellow citizens in the City. My other areas of interest include medieval history and playing golf during my free time. I am pleased to meet with all of you and it's my honour to be invited to be part of the investigation team where I will offer my expertise to assist in this tedious investigaton.

    City '09?

Hewman, your source may be right. From what I know, it is similar from what you have said. However, I can't be certain what is that set all about, heard its something useful for any Town or City. I did not want to mention it, because I am not sure about this rumor and do not want to raise hopes for the rest. Let's wait for the pictures, just to be sure.
  5. Nice job! This is indeed creative and nice way of presenting the advent calender in style. I did once for EB News Reviews earlier back In Sep though. Click it if you wish to view (Contain spoilers). I will be looking forward to the rest of your story.
  6. Just a reminder to all players, please send in your night actions to TinyPiesRUs if you have not done so, so he is able to prepare Day 7. It seemed to be a long night..
  7. Zorro, Christmas is coming in less than a month. I hope you will be getting something "giant" from Christmas this year. I just took a quick search on Peeron, and there was no submitted inventory indeed. I can't promise that I am able to submit one soon, but I will try to explore how to use and upload the list if possible. The amount of parts listed can be quite extensive.

  9. Inertia, you have read my exact same thoughts. I feel the same way as you do. I feel that the armor design will retain the orignal charm with a change of color to represent a different battalion, more towards the Imperial or Royal Knights. Oh yes, they sure make a great Paladin. Right now, we just have to wait for more accurate info.
  10. Thanks everyone! It was not very easy to write its content for small sets, as most of us will feel that its nothing special because what you see in the box art is what you are going to get. I don't see it this way. Every sets deserve its own attention, no matter how small it is. It's part of System sets and part of its theme, which is always remembered by us such as Classic Town. Freddie, thanks for the additional reference. I never saw some of them before, especially the 1633. It's was almost 98% identical. I agreed with you that it's one of the design which TLG has used in the past, to introduce small sets or use it to be part of the bigger sets. Whatever the case, this might also prove that this is one of the nicer design which is receptive towards the children in that generation. Simonwillems, oh my gosh. I must have be blind. With the very own reference picture in front of me, I never realised that the seat was replaced wrongly. If you have never pointed it out, I thought I managed to restore this set completely. Now, I have to find where is that blue seat. All this while, that grey seat was there for more than a decade. Thanks!
  11. a53021, welcome to Eurobricks! That was a very good introduction of yourself. I am glad that you have emerge from lurking and decide to interact with our hype community whom are crazy all over different themes. Even for some, there are a few of us whom adore Fabuland as well. Enjoy your experience with us, which I am sure you defintely will.
  12. Topic updated. New item added: Skeletons' Prison Carriage (CASTLE)
  13. I will like to add another important point about "Limited Edition". Limited Edition, normally refer to a set limited in its quantity OR distribution channel. In different countries perspective, various Limited Editions can differ from one another. For example in Singapore, the Troll Battle Wheel and the Hoth Rebel Base are Limited Editions in TRU. In this way, these sets are exclusive to this distrbution channel.
  14. Actually, this is Dragonator's second attempt to host a game. The first one was Mystery Castle.
  15. Svelte_corps, thanks for answering. I was looking around for answers, and I found that long string of answers in one of the boxes... Sigh, it's very unfortunate that the rest of us could not take advantage of it.
  16. This offer only restrict to US only? Other countries could not enjoy this offer? I can't seem to find the options for shipping to other countries.
  17. Thanks guys for your kind words and those pictures references, it's nice to see some comparison. Oh, Brickster thanks for the frontpage. It was really unexpected. Although this was a small set, but it took me a long while to decide the direction of this review approach. From what I observed, all "construction vehicles" used yellow as their primary color scheme. I don't remember there was any blue construction vehicles. Please correct me if I am wrong on this. I had done a quick check on set names in Brickset related to Tractors. I am very sure that the set names which is given by TLG should be linked in some ways. This set has the similar name too. Without the bucket and the arms, it looks more like a miniature tractor for the farmer to pull. Since 2009 will be releasing a new farm set, and the color scheme for this set looks more appealing inside the farm barn instead of a construction site. These are some of the factors, which have determine the nature of this set.
  18. Thanks Guss, for showing me the comparison. It defintely helps a lot. This is an eye opening experience, with various submarine designs. You guys, are tempting me to open up my box and start building it.
  19. Guss, that is a nice mod. My submarine is still inside the box, and I have not started building it yet. I do like this submarine, and your mod version has certainly done it much better, especially its interior. Does the orginal submarine comes with nothing inside? I am not sure what it contains though. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Welcome to Eurobricks! I had saw one of your impressive moc earlier in the Lego Trains and Town. Nice piece of work. I am sure you will enjoy yourself here. Feel free to share in your views with us.
  21. Welcome to Eurobricks! It's nice to know that you have gotten lots of great buy recently. I do hope that your kids and you have time to do so much of these building.
  22. Hi Indra, Welcome to Eurobricks. Our countries are very near to each other. It's nice to see Asian LEGO collectors joining up Eurobricks. Your english is understandable. Don't worry. Just remember to start every sentence with Upper case, so we will know that it's a new sentence. Nevertheless, I am sure you have a fun experience with the rest of the members. WhiteFang
  23. Hello all Eurobricks members and Town Lovers, Today, I had managed to discover one of my old sets inside my storage boxes during my childhood and this is what I have found. A small blue tractor, produced in the late 1980s. Is it possible that TLG have plans for a Farm theme back then? Now, TLG has finally decides to implement the new City sub theme, known as the Farm theme which will be release in early 2009. I am anxious too. Name: Tractor Theme: LEGO System / Town Year: 1988 Pieces: 27 Minifigs: 1 Price: Unknown Resources: Brickset, Peeron An image of a 6504, Tractor Working on the farm on a bright sunny day Blue tractor moving up and down, making sure the job is done well. Actually, I thought this was a regular digger for the construction vehicle. I checked Peeron and thought for a long moment, based on its actual name "Tractor". Therefore, I looked into the dictionary and found various meaning related. I have finally concluded to write this review from the perspective of agriculture and translate the use of "Tractor" into a farm tool. A typical farmer in the 1980s This farmer boy works hard in the field to ensure that that the citizens in Classic Town will have a bountiful harvest at the end of the year. His working attire comprised of a red dungarees design, red pants and even a red construction helmet. From far, he looks more like a regular construction worker which I have mentioned above. Maybe, a different helmet will make him looks like a farmer. I never knew a farmer wears a helmet while working. I thought a straw hat or a cowboy hat related, will be much of a better choice. I will leave this to the audience to decide. Tractor's engine The primary color scheme makes up of blue and black. The blue plate which covers the engine casing, reveal two 1x1 round brick hollow stud. This part is commonly used to illustrate the vehicle's engine. With the black cone's addition, it serve as a chimmy or exhaust pipe for releasing exhaust smoke. This is the overall concept of its engine. Let's take a careful look of the mechanism of its excavator arm and bucket. It is able to to lift the bucket to quite a considerable height based on the scale of this tractor. This is the main playability in this set. Different angles of the tractor Let's do some farm work, starting with this This is one of my smallest earliest childhood set which I have managed to discover from the pile of old LEGO. I enjoyed the simple concept of this set which has the element of Classic Town touch. With a mere 27 pieces, it is able to construct a very impressive mobile tractor for small children to play with. It is versatile and is able to use it for farm or construction purposes. I have plans to use this and integrate it with next year CITY Farm 2009. Summary review Playability: 8/10 (The excavator mechanism is fun to play with, especially when you used it to scoop bricks) Design: 8.5/10 (A very good and simple design which has Classic Town's touch) Price: 10/10 ( A small set like this is very affordable, similar to current impulse sets range) Overall: 8.8/10 (A lovely set with an affordable price) I gave it a "4" based on my Review Score Card. What about yours? Hope everyone of you enjoyed reading this simple review of mine. Comments and Critics are strongly welcomed. Pictures can be found in My Brickshelf (When moderated)
  24. Thanks for this lovely review. I enjoyed viewing the Flying Wing very much. In fact, I think the design is done in a realistic manner, compared to the movie. I am very pleased with this set. Although some of us feel that the oil tanker is kind of ugly, but I think it's not bad in a way. At least, the color scheme looks compatible with the truck in earlier sets. Among the soldiers, the german torsos are still the nice looking. A great set, but a little costly though.
  25. Ras, thanks! Finally, this is not some box art review that we have earlier. Initally, I never intended to plan to buy this set. Right now, I may think of getting it. It might be the last TIE Fighter ever released from TLG when the contract is up. This is such an iconic fighter plane in the SW OT. Yes, I might have to plan to buy it after all, especially after looking at the deep contrast with the old TIE Fighter. I must admit that it's well designed.
