As long vehicles of any nature are kept within 4 wide or 6 wide, it's acceptable. Doors is a "must" for all vehicles types. Your understanding above is correct. It's strongly discouraged for the builders to reuse its past mocs and use it for this contest, as it will be unfair to the other builders. It will be better, if there is a significant improvement on its current design or a new design concept. Official LEGO sets which was previously done are allowed to be use for inspiration, and is not supposed to be copied 100%, but creating your own classic style of building, to demostrate the orignal feel. Of course, if you are able to re-create the Chomel Factory in another new way, feel free to do so. Well, both factors to me, is important. It's really up to the builder on how they wish to deliver the emphasis of Classic Town scenes. Look at the title of this contest for hints. As long, the entry fufill the rules above, which will be screened eventually, the entries is ultimately decided by our EB community through voting. Re-discover the bustling streets of Classic Town Hey everyone, this is a chance for all Eurobricks members and Classic Town lovers to build their very own Classic Town scene! What You're Building The plan is to create a typical Classic Town scene like those found in the classic sets of the 1970's and 1980's. This scene will include at least one building and a vehicle on a road baseplate, but don't stop there. Be creative and add all those little extras that make your town come alive like lamp posts, signs, street vendors, just about anything that adds action and excitement to your town. Classic Examples The Rules At least one road baseplate must be used since your creation should be something seen in the downtown area of your classic town. You may use a maximum of two road baseplates and two additional 16x32 or 8x32 baseplates, if necessary. In addition, when two road baseplates are in use, you are to ensure that both road baseplates are from the same time period (grey/grey, green/green). Never mix road baseplates of Classic Town and City together. Your creation must include one building of the kind that you would see in your classic town. Examples include: Apartments, Businesses, Government Offices, Public Services, Entertainment/Dining or anything else you would like to see in your downtown area. You must include one vehicle with doors. This can be 4 or 6 wide, but should be appropriate to the setting. You may use up to 20 minifigs. Those minifigs should be classic style, meaning they use the traditional smile head and classic torsos. If you do not have the appropriate torso, you may use a custom printed one, as long as it's one of the old designs. Take a look at this gallery for some inspirations. No clone brands, no custom parts except for the previously mentioned torso print. One entry per person. Entries are to be posted separately. Title should begin with EBCTC: (Entry) and should include no more than 3 images that are 640x480 or smaller. The first image you post will be used to represent you in the voting, so choose wisely. Digital backgrounds are allowed. The contest begins today and will end on 13th May 2009 at 1200hrs (GMT+8) 20th May 2009 at 1200hrs (GMT+8). Very interesting topic! There is a discussion similar to this too, and I have merged and moved to here, in order for us to discuss in one place. Yes, I do keep my LEGO boxes, as much as possible, especially if I have one box for one single set and big sets. However, I will tend to buy multiple sets as much as possible and keep each unique set, MISB, so I can retain the box and open the other spare for playing and building, but this is a very costly way of doing it though. In addition, keeping boxes take up way too much space, and eventually I will choose those boxes that are much beautiful and better condition.

Another nice review. I like this set much better, as it provides many useful parts in such a small sets, ranging from tools, dynamites, croc, snake and a cool looking Johnny Thunder. Well done. By the way, Brickster did use this set and include it in his Jungle Adventure diorama.

AwesomeStar, I have read your summary, and it's a good starting point for the draft, but however, there are many events or past history of these faction which have not happened or reflected in any of the players' post. Run through the entire posted characters and co-relate these characters together, by indicating their roles/position in the particular kingdom. The kingdom's monarchy may differ from one culture to another too. At this moment, I do not have the time to read through your current plot again, and comparing with it. On another note, the players and I have not really defined a specific timeline for the current events, and I think its better to leave it open ended to allow us not to stick closely to the chronological order in terms of years and etc. In this summary, you have involved the role of Morica. Did we ever develop Morica's plot? Please expand your summary and write it in a way where stories could be derived from the summary and allowing the players to understand the background of the faction with ease of integrating if required. Lastly, use the very same post to do the editing. I couldn't want to find multiple drafts to do comparison. Thanks.

This volume is out! This set is way much better than the earlier one, especially when there is a red ninja in it. I will need a few more for my ninja army. While the rest of the minifigs, I don't own any of it. I am pleased to see their return as well.
