  1. Thank you very much for everyone's excitement. Nothing beats the best of a regular traditional LEGO CMFs Series where it is not bound to any form of licensing. Yes, thank you. I didn't realise it until you have pointed it out. Review updated. Thanks! I have updated it. By the way, the Repair Robot is using the extreme sharp side of it to chip away part. Ok - I reckon the flat side is the correct side, but somehow I had always positioned the hammer in this manner unknowingly. Awesome to know that and to hear that too. I had a lot of fun to put different past and present CMFs and my other LEGO stuff altogether in order to show its diversity of this series. Yes indeed! I had not owned the older version and seeing this really pleased me very much. Thanks AmperZand. Updated the text. Unfortunately I did not record the order due to the hasty opening of the packets for review preparation. Apologies.
  2. Dear Eurobricks Community, It has been quite a long time since I last did a traditional CMFs review for Eurobricks Community. I hope you will enjoy reading this review as much as I do. Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments on what you like or dislike about this latest upcoming new series. Thank you and I look forward to hear from you. WhiteFang
  3. To be fair, I felt the Singapore skyline did a good job in capturing most of the icons in the city central/CBD (central business district) and the designer had managed to squeeze tons of miniature landmarks in there. I felt the Marina Bay Sands is the best representation especially for fans who had missed the original built. The Singapore River is a lovely touch. What I didn’t like about this set - is the lack of the Merlion, Fullerton Hotel and Singapore Flyer. These are within the close vicinity of Marina Bay Sands and these are often daunted as part of Singapore skyline. Nonetheless, to able to see this Architecture series which feature Singapore certainly made me want to own it in my own humble collection.
  4. Thanks!! However, I had my own version (WF interpretation) of describing them, but it is great to know their official names now.
  5. Hello everyone, It has been quite sometime ago that I am so excited since I last did a traditional LEGO CMFs review for Eurobricks. I believe the last traditional CMFs review was for Series 19 in Sep 19 and I didn't manage to review Series 20 and 21 previously. With this latest box in my hand, I had to be ready and get myself immerse in this brand new series. Thanks to our EB Ambassador, Jim for facilitating this reviewing opportunity for Eurobricks. Special thanks and mention to The LEGO Group (TLG) and my wife (Belun) for the support on this reviewing endeavor. Without further ado, I am very pleased to present my latest simple review on this brand new traditional LEGO CMFs Series 22 which will be available worldwide in January 2022 (estimated). This will also be my 34th LEGO pictorial reviews for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme. Name: 71032 LEGO Minifigures - LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22 Theme: LEGO System / Collectable Minifigures / Series 22 Year: 2022 Minifigs: 12 unique minifigures Price for 1 box: USD N.A, GBP N.A EURO N.A, SGD $234.00Price for 1 packet: USD N.A, GBP N.A, EURO N.A, SGD $6.50 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink, Brick Insights An image of an 71032 The LEGO Collectable Series 22 [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] What could possibly lurk within these mysterious sealed packets? We are finally here once more to see the brand new traditional CMFs Series and this is the 22nd time over a decade The LEGO CMFs line-up had seen leaps and bounds since May 2010 when Series 1 was first released. Fast forward to a decade plus later, we are now seeing the 22nd CMFs series and I am very excited to share my thoughts with our Eurobricks Community and why traditional designs are always the best creations despite seeing more licensed CMFs series in recent years. This is the second CMFs traditional series where we see a total of 12 minifigures since Series 21. Despite the decrease in the overall presentation and change from 60 to 36 minifigures per box, the design process would have to be more stringent and TLG designers would need to put in more efforts to perfect those designs which were ultimately shortlisted. In this new series, we had opportunities to see new animal moulds and brand new parts which I strongly believe it will resonate to all LEGO fans for all various main themes in your MOCs and collections. DISCLAIMER: Please note the naming for all 12 minifigures that I have use in this review are not the official TLG minifigures naming for the LEGO CMFs Series 22. For the purpose of this review, the naming which I had used to describe the minifigure is based on my pure inference where I had received the box prior to its official release. General statistics for 71032 LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22 Below is the combination which I have received from my sealed box and I am sad to inform that I am able to form two complete sets with one other remaining spare character. 3 Repair Robots 3 Chili Costume Girls 3 Singing Bards 3 Arctic Warriors 3 Ranch Caretakers 3 Ice Skaters 2 Moon Hunters 4 Acorn Boys 3 Ornithologists 3 Raccoon Costume Ladies 3 Space Aliens 3 Wheelchair Racers In my humble opinion, I would think this should be a three complete set, with a remote possibility of distribution error during packing. However, I am seeing some popular minifigures will be highly sought after, especially with army builders looking out for the Arctic Warriors. It is a pity that due to the ongoing pandemic that many stores are not allowing customers to "touch" and "feel" the packets due to personal hygiene concerns. Other minifigures which could be popular with Castle fans is definitely the Singing Bard, while costume minifigure lovers will definitely aim at Chili Costume Girl and Fox Costume Lady. Of course, the latest new foal entrant for the Ranch Caretaker would also be another highlight. The rest of the minifigures are equally impressive, other than a few odd ones which I will elaborate in my review. Front view of The LEGO Collectable Series 22 promotional poster Back view of The LEGO Collectable Series 22 promotional poster Each minifigure contained in this sealed packet. You can view more of the details at the back of the sealed packet. After you have opened all of the packet content, you will receive these spare and loose parts. Among the 12 minifigures, these are the four minifigures with a separate sealed packet within the building packet. As you flip to the back of the promotional poster, you will notice a set of simple instructions to guide those who are not familiar with the fixing of minifigures' accessories and built. These are some basic instructions to guide our very young builders who may not be familiar with these LEGO parts. 1) Repair Robot Without further ado, let's bring out the first traditional minifigure known as the Repair Robot. This one-of-a-kind robotic is very illuminated. The choice of yellow colour in the main design is to create high visibility and attention to the people around their surroundings, so they could pay attention to each other. The Repair Robot is very well equipped with the necessary tools and gears to resolve any technical issues in the repairing process. It also accompanied with a diagnostics bot to assist with the troubleshooting or at least that's what I think "Red Bot" is designed for. I am impressed with how this first specialised repair robot come about and it can venture into places where it can be dangerous and hazardous for humans to venture into. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. It come with the necessary bricks to build up Red Bot and the eyelets are printed tiles and one of it is a spare. It come with a choice of a grip or drill for the right mechanical arm assembly for the different repair configurations. The overall printing is very impressive and especially where I had noticed a very subtle battery cell level at the rear of the minifigure head that took exceptional considerations in the helmet design. Outstanding work to the TLG designer who had thought of this. the You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. It also come with an alternate facial expression or rather its mechanical wiring at the back of the head. Robotic Repair Station Checking on current radiation levels 2) Chili Costume Girl The next minifigure is part of the ongoing LEGO Food Costumes designs and the latest ingredient or food is the red chili. Chili is a very popular and important ingredient in Asian spicy cuisines. Seeing this latest Chili Costume Girl is definitely a very welcoming addition, which kind of make me wonder what is the focus of this design. Is the Red Chili Costume Girl advertising for the latest milk product in LEGO City or is it simply she is just using milk to quench and take-away the burning sensation which cause by consuming chili (part of the sensation). The costume would be quite useful in some food related MOCs which there is a need to depict some "spices" in there. It is certainly a very welcoming addition. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average especially with the surprising inclusion of a red hairpiece and alternate facial expression. The red burning chili design on the torso is a great touch instead of just a plain torso which we had seen in some LEGO Food Costume minifigures. The printed 1x1 milk brick is a nice accessory which is useful in many recreational settings and if you had taken a closer look at the back torso, you would also notice a subtle opening near the neck. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Our new spicy addition Have some milkshake to cool off Complete knock-out 3) Singing Bard The next minifigure is the Singing Bard and it is my second favourite in this current series. The bard will be an instant musical blockbuster in all of my medieval towns, especially of those with Classic Castle setting. I am particularly fond of this design as it is able to resonate very closely to Classic Castle design and how the modern yet so classic looking meet together. It does not feel odd to place iconic Classic Castle minifigures of their various times with the Bard together. In fact, it felt so appropriate that I could not resist further that I can customise further to make it become like your regular villager. Not to mention of the new printed coin currency which I want to amass and fill them up in my treasure chests right underneath the cellars. Parts assortment The parts are excellent in my opinion. It came with a brand new classic plume on the iconic Forestman hat with a different shade. The torso design is very impressive with the all rounded details such as the belt and coin bag. There are three printed pearl gold coins in a different currency representation and I am very glad to receive another spare coin in this design as it will help me to accumulate faster. The musical instrument is also a brand new design piece instead of re-hashing it. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Bard or Bard? Life as a singing bard in this medieval kingdom Enjoying the performance 4) Arctic Warrior The next minifigure is the stoic Arctic Warrior which is my number one favourite for this current series. I am absolutely elated by the fact that this minifigure is so well designed, that I could hardly find any flaw which might be an eyesore to me. The absolute treat was the inclusion of a brand new white husky variant which sweetens the entire design further. This is a complete warrior, fully equipped with thick fur armour from top to bottom where he hold a long broad sword and circular shield that represent the allegiance of its frozen kingdom. I really wish somehow or somewhat I could build an army of these to challenge my other Castle Factions or Historic Factions for that matters. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. It is fully equipped with the long broad sword in metallic silver and the circular snowflake shield which we had seen this design for the first time. The torso also had the same emblem on the belt design too. The fur collar at the neck is to keep the warrior warm along with the helmet piece. It also come with an alternate facial expression with a slight update on the eye expression. The new animal husky which was first appeared in LEGO Arctic Theme in 2014 where the husky was seen for the first time. There are some slight update at the eyelet and fur, but considering that I had never own a husky in my animal collection. I am very glad to have this variant in my collection now. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view especially the back view where you must pay absolute careful attention to the rear belt and sash. Historic Warriors Frozen Warriors Welcome to the North Pole 5) Ranch Caretaker The next minifigure is the Ranch Caretaker or at least I am assuming this lovely girl is taking care of the ranch on behalf of his parents or during her pastime. Her passion for foal is truly jovial as she hold the carrot to carry out the feeding session. I know some of our members felt the focus is more of the foal than the girl and in my opinion, I felt both are complementing one another. However on the practical side of it, we are surely aiming solely for the foal to add into our animal collection. This will be a very popular minifigure and I believe it will be another highly sought design as well, among many fans. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average and it was largely due to the foal design which is one of its kind. The carrot piece is a common accessory which she used for feeding. She also have very nice set of alternate expression to play around with. The torso is made up of lovely olive checkers jacket and a nice beanie covering her head. Her medium short legs are very useful and I am very fond of seeing these Harry Potter CMFs short legs appearing in other themes as well. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Time for feeding Helping out in the animal farm 6) Ice Skater The next minifigure is Ice Skater and is direct companion to the Series 4 - Ice Skater in 2011. While I find it very unnecessary to have this male ice skater appearing in this series, but I am sure it will be appreciated by some fans who will love to see a variant to this ice skating design. It will be a direct addition for the pair to do ice skating competition together. It is also possible that they both had finally won the grand champion together after a decade together. Well, that is just my guess and the probable consideration of why it may be consider for this series. At the very least, their outfits are consistent and match well with one another. Parts assortment The parts assortment are below average. There are no other special accessories. The champion trophy and ice skates are quite common. While the holder is useful, but I had plentiful of them from the Marvel Studio series and other LEGO Marvel sets as well. Despite the lack of better accessories, there are also no other alternate expression and I find the overall design a little bit lack luster. Overall, I find this minifigure to be one of the weaker design. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Ice Skating Champion Relaxing at ice skating rink 7) Moon Hunter The next minifigure is the Moon Hunter or at least I felt she is more of a huntress than a warrior or knight. Under the bright moon light, she wield the moon power from her sword and shield. I am actually quite fond of this mysterious Moon Hunter. At first, I thought this could be more of a space character or some sort. Then, after taking a closer look at the actual minifigure, I felt it is more of a mystical knight or warrior similar to those clans or tribe who worship the moon as their holy goddess. This is a very original looking design and I am quite pleased with the overall approach. I wonder who else will be thinking of what to do with this character in their respective setup. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. The translucent purple short broad sword came with a spare and you can always put the shield aside to make her a dual wielding character. The shield is very well designed with good tint of purple around the oval shield. She have an alternate expression which show a much pleasant side of her. Her overall attire and skin colour show a very exotic scale armour which kind of resonate to me that she is of a mysterious descendent. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front and side view. I invite you to join my Bat Legionnaire We need the fury of the Moon Hunters 8) Acorn Boy The Acorn Boy or I felt he is more of a Forest Wanderer in the enchanted forest. He seems to be the ranger or guardian of such an enchanted forest and the acorn on his head mark his birth origin. Or I can simply put - he can just be a small boy donning onto his acorn costume but seeing the enchanted mushroom which led me to believe there is a bigger story about this boy in his acorn outfit. I am very fond of this character design and it is also one of my close favourite due to a sense of how versatile you would like to use it. Be it fairytale, medieval or even modern city costume, there are many purpose which you can design this minifigure for in your respective MOCs or setup. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. The unique green cap is one of its kind and the contour are very nice forest touch to the back of the minifigure. It has an outstanding acorn headpiece and I am imaging there are a lot of builders who are planning to build an acorn tree with it. The mushroom are printed and it came with a spare piece. Those are very useful printed parts for your mushroom design if you are planning to do something magical. The Acorn Boy hold a walking stick and one of it is a spare. The overall torso is very well designed and I am very pleased that it used the medium short legs instead of the short leg. There is also an alternate expression for this minifigure too and if you take a careful look at the back of torso, you will see some joy and scream for the outstanding printing detail as well. This will allow him to be much flexible to traverse in his journey. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. My dreamy night Where are you heading to? 9) Ornithologist The next minifigure is the Ornithologist or can be known as the nature bird watcher. I personally like this minifigure for the hornbill toucan and truthfully it is the same reason why we are very focused onto the earlier foal as well. The minifigure is a very decent looking design and she has all of the apparent attire and gear which could allow her to be ready and observe the bird from afar. It is useful for her to become a jungle explorer or equivalent or something more adventurous like tagging along with Johnny Thunder. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. It came with a new dark green binoculars and one of which is a spare. The side pouch also came in pink for the first time since we had seen in khaki brown extensively during the release of LEGO Indiana Jones in 2008. The overall torso is pretty nicely design especially the arm band on the left hand and the side pockets at her cargo pants. She also came with an alternate expression which show her cheerful glow. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Wildlife Observation What a beautiful Hornbill specimen 10) Raccoon Costume Lady The next animal costume minifigure is an accompanying similar variant of the previously released Fox Costume Girl in Series 19 which will pair very well with this Raccoon Costume Lady. There are some similarities but you can see the difference at the eyelet. It is rather nice to see a raccoon costume lady doing her part to promote green recycling since the rubbish bin is being included inside and in most cases, you will see the actual raccoon rampaging for food scraps in bins at the park. I am sure this costume animal will be another highly sought after minifigure too. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. It come with a green bin without a lid and a white grab bag or similar thrash bag. In most case, we always had assumed that was like Santa's bag. It also came with a standard tail in grey to place at the back of the minifigure. I am surprised like the Chili Costume Girl that this minifigure also included a hairpiece for the wearer itself who also happen to have an alternate expression too. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Dynamic Foxes Clean the park campaign 11) Space Alien This next minifigure is a very uniquely designed Space Alien which has close association with Classic Space. At this point, we do not know the origin of this alien species and how it is affiliated with Classic Space too. The minifigure has a very different way of representing the alien head. In most CMFs, it was normally depict in a form of a specialised mold or a specialised helmet. In this case, it was done very differently with a hybrid of hairpiece with the eye as an antenna and the mouth as the headpiece. The overall attire seem to suggest that he is holding some sort of toxic poison in his weapon arsenal and I am really thinking who it will be meant for. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. It come with a new colour blaster in turquoise and the toxic rounded chamber is printed and place at the back. The headpiece is rubbery and the antenna seems to be very firm onto the head, so no issue in bending left or right. The purple attire bearing the Classic Space design will definitely be popular with space fans and if they do not like the alien headpiece, it can always be replace easily as well. Do take a moment to digest and examine the alternate expression and it certainly took me awhile to compose myself of viewing the mouth and head as a whole unit. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. New Classic Space variant? You are coming with us 12) Wheelchair Racer The last character in this traditional series is to dedicate for the Paralympics and the choice of sports is Wheelchair Racing. The Wheelchair Racer is the first sports category which is solely for the Paralympics and I applaud LEGO to be inclusive to the global community where disability is not consider as a burden to society but as a living soul like anyone of us in this world. Hence, I am very pleased to see such an inclusion in the CMFs and I am sure they had to stretch the design to ensure the accurate design of the wheelchair racer which made me very surprise to see the articulation for their wheel connectors, similar to the real wheelchair racer in real life. Never doubt that the Wheelchair Racer had won a gold medal for its category. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent and I am very fond of the new cycling helmet. Apart from the two medals which one of it is a spare piece, the greatest highlight is the racing chair as it is the first ever LEGO design to be created for the Paralympic. Not withholding the representation that the minifigure is meant to be disable, you can re-purpose the minifigure for other sports event and I can't help but to notice that the sports logo is very closely resemble to Adidas. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Let's go for a race Don't limit your Dreams The LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 22 is launching on 1 January 2022 To conclude, the LEGO Minifigures - The LEGO CMFs Series 22 is an another excellent and outstanding traditional CMFs design and I am very pleased to see its astounding return before CMFs revert back to Licensed CMFs in May 2022. I am very confident that it will be a popular series like their predecessors. To be able to view this brand new 12 designs of Series 22, there are six City related minifigures including costume designs, four historical/fantasy/mythical minifigures and two sci-fiction minifigure. As you can see, this new Series 22 is a city-focused theme with half of the minifigures being focused on the area and a large part of it given to the historical and medieval side of stuff which I am very glad of. There are five female minifigures out of the 12 and I personally find the representation for the female minifigures are on an upper scale and I believe the trend will continue to maintain in this manner. Nonetheless, the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series or known as LEGO Minifigures Theme shall always be an unique distinction of their own, which had already distinguish themselves away from regular LEGO Theme and special releases. I would only hope that such good minifigures' design can continue to thrive in more years to come where imagination is endless. Please note that all opinions and content shown in this Eurobricks pictorial review is from 'WhiteFang' and is not meant to represent LEGO official views. It is purely stated to share as a vantage point of a reviewer. Summary review Playability: 9/10 (New LEGO minifigures which will be great additions to the collection and MOCs)Design: 9/10 (High amount of detailed printing, new parts/accessories, alternate facial expressions and more importantly - animals (foal and hornbill).)Price: 7/10 (Pricing is stable and distribution ratio is good for two complete sets in my case of a sealed box.)Overall: 8.3/10 (Get ready for this traditional CMFs experience with these brand new designs.) 6. Ah. Thank you very much for sharing the unofficial names. Look forward to find out the official names for this series 22. I am glad to see a traditional series again.
  7. Is there a list of unofficial or official names for the LEGO Minifigures Series 22 available yet?
  8. To be honest, I am not sure how prevalent it is. I double checked my opened packets to ensure it was not stuck beneath the bag seal. I am damn sure it was not there. Pity that you had to suffer the inconvenience like me. Thank you. So glad you enjoy it. Simply put, if you had not watched any of those Disney+ Series, it will be very hard to appreciate the meaning and the origin of these designs.
  9. Glad you like the Amiibo addition, which is a first for me in my LEGO reviews (I owned more than 60 amiibos and will love to sneak them in the future). I have recently bought the Metroid Dread amiibos and I am hopeful to see more LEGO and Nintendo IP collaboration in the near future. Some disappointments in this series is to be expected and I do agree with your observation that there is a likelihood for such limit and design choice which could be influenced by Disney/Marvel. I am sure if other readers who have not watch the series - will be shouting OMG - why there is Zemo. Well, that was my initial reaction when I first watch the drama and the inclusion was worthy. Agree that it could or might be a little better if John Walker is included. How many of you would actually know who is he without watching the show. I wouldn't and I probably would not be able to relate if I had never watch. This is a very niche CMFs and it is really well suited for hardcore LEGO Marvel fans or fans for these MCU TV series. When I first compare with both Captain Carter minifigure design, I prefer the CMFs version more than the Hydra Stomper set where she wear a stealth suit. I find it less appealing unlike the one in this design and this is also another reason why I did not buy the Hydra Stomper set at all. Like I said above, not having John Walker or Zemo is definitely disappointing for fans who "had" watched the series, so yes - I echo that. Like I mention in the review, there is no mention of them and it is up to readers in EB to find out on their own if they are keen to know who they are inside The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series. Thanks Jim. Super glad that I had finally got a chance to review this for EB. Never late than ever!
  10. Dear Eurobricks Community, I am very pleased to share with all of you my newest review work on the LEGO Minifigures - Marvel Studios Series 1. I hope you will enjoy reading this reviewing coverage. Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments. Thank you. WhiteFang
  11. Hello everyone, Hope all of you are still coping well and good during this hectic period and I have not been very active as of sort. However, thank to our EB Ambassador, Jim for arranging this reviewing opportunity for Eurobricks and myself, which feel it will be useful to share with our community since I have just received the box. Special thanks and mention to The LEGO Group (TLG) and my wife (Belun) for the support on this reviewing endeavor. Without further ado, I am very pleased to present my latest simple review on this licensed LEGO Minifigures - Marvel Studios Series 1 which is currently available in stores. This will also be my 33rd LEGO pictorial reviews for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme. Name: 71031 LEGO Minifigures - Marvel Studios Series 1 Theme: LEGO System / Collectable Minifigures / Marvel Studios Year: 2021 Minifigs: 12 unique minifigures Price for 1 box: USD N.A, GBP N.A, EURO N.A, SGD $234.00Price for 1 packet: USD $4.99, GBP 3.49, EURO 3.99, SGD $6.50 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink, Brick Insights An image of an 71031 LEGO Marvel Studios Series 1 The LEGO Minifigures - Marvel Studios Series 1 main colour schema is based on navy blue background which feature the latest Marvel Studios dramas. [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] The very first LEGO Marvel Superheroes CMFs This is the third Minifigure series which contain a box of 36 minifigures and it appears this trend will continue as we go into 2022 for future Minifigure series. In this series, this is the very first time where we are finally treated with LEGO Marvel CMFs. Instead of seeing the usual superheroes which we had already seen over the past years with different variants, TLG had worked with Disney closely and brought four of the current Marvel Studios dramas which is an extended version of their Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). These Marvel Studio dramas are currently available for Disney+ subscribers and I am a huge fan of these four dramas - WandaVision, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki and the animated cartoon drama - What If...? These are some excellent dramas and I will not be giving out any spoilers in case you have not watch any of those dramas since its release. These minifigures were released in September 2021 and I believed fans of LEGO Marvel would have already picked up a complete set of it. General statistics for 71031 LEGO Marvel Studios Series 1 Below is the combination which I have received from my box and I am able to complete three sets (with the exception of a missing cape for the Zombie Hunter Spidey - that is quite disappointing). 3 Scarlet Witch (s) 3 Vision (s) 3 Monica Rambeau (s) 3 Winter Soldier (s) 3 Captain America (s) 3 Loki (s) 3 Sylvie (s) 3 Zombie Hunter Spidey (s) 3 Zombie Captain America (s) 3 Captain Carter (s) 3 T'Challa Star-Lord (s) 3 Gamora with Blade of Thanos (s) Front view of the LEGO Marvel Studios Series 1 promotional poster Back view of the LEGO Marvel Studios Series 1 promotional poster Each minifigure contained in this sealed packet. You can view more of the details at the back of the sealed packet. In every packet, there is this useful part which can be used to help pose your minifigure in elevating position. There are also quite a number of numerous spare parts as well. You might want to note that some of the minifigures' content sealed bags are not easy to take out as I had noticed some of it are glued to the bag edge as well. 1) The Scarlet Witch Without further ado, let's bring out the first minifigure from the Marvel Studios Series - WandaVision (Season 1 - nine episodes) which feature our beloved Scarlet Witch that went through lots of emotional upheaval since the Age of Ultron. This Scarlet Witch design is the true classic design in Marvel Comics and seeing how Scarlet Witch evolved from her gothic looks when it first appear, till she become a member of Avengers and now where she is right now after the end of WandaVision. This design is very remarkable and accurate. I strongly believe this is how we will see her in future MCU appearances, namely the upcoming movie in Doctor Strange - Multiverse of Madness in May 2022. Till this far, Scarlet Witch has appeared in three LEGO sets with different variants. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average especially with the accurate classic design of Scarlet Witch accompanied with her red cape for the first time. The red power blasters which depict her telekinetic powers are great additions. Her hairpiece with her tiara at the front is also equally nice touch. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression which has her red fury laser eyes on it. Charming Halloween You shall not pass 2) The Vision The next accompanying character in WandaVision is none other - The Vision. He is the love partner and interest of Scarlet Witch. This is the first time that Vision had appeared in this variant and it look very cool to have him in pearl white, metallic silver and gold threads as a whole. He also had a very few appearance in other LEGO Marvel sets from Age of Ultron and Civil/Infinity War. This is the first time we are seeing a complete different Vision and I highly doubt that we will ever seen another variant design of him in the near future. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average and the nicest part would be the laptop with printed house model on the cover with the book bind design which we had seen in Harry Potter accessories. The overall design of his torso are absolute awesome with superb printing all over his body. It also include a white cape as opposed to his former yellow cape. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Jarvis Special Project An unexpected encounter 3) Monica Rambeau The last minifigure being featured in WandaVision is Monica Rambeau. She is an important character in this drama which feature her being a part of an US government agency - S.W.O.R.D (Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Division), as opposed to S.H.E.L.D. She is the daughter of the late Maria Rambeau and she also knew Captain Marvel when she was a child too. This is the first ever minifigure design with an Agent of S.W.O.R.D being feature in the LEGO design and I hope we can see more of this organisation appearing in other future LEGO set appearances too. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly below average. The brick built drone which Wanda haul it out of town was average and I would rather she equip with a decent accessory or a complete new mold to accompany with. You can view more of the details from all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. My dream spacecraft WandaVision 4) Winter Soldier The next minifigure is Winter Soldier and it is the second Marvel Studios Series - The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (Season 1 - six episodes). The Winter Soldier has been an integral element since his first appearance as Bucky Barnes in Captain America - The First Avenger. This current version in this design is the most mellow and neutral blue with least hostility unlike his previous reiterations. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average, due to the inclusion of shield (which is actually same as Captain America aka former Falcon) and a pair of wielding daggers. I am very fond of his new metallic vibranium arm. You can view more of the details from all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. Changes of Bucky Barnes 5) Captain America The next minifigure is Captain America and this is my favourite minifigure among this series. You need to watch the series in order to understand and come to accept how he and shall become Captain America. Sam Wilson who is formerly known as the Falcon and he had appeared in limited sets with different variants as well. This is the first of its kind to feature a full-fledged Sam Wilson in Captain America outfit with his falcon technology hybrid that is supported by Wakanda technology. I got to admit it is damn cool to see him fighting in action and I can't wait to see him follow-up in MCU Phase 4. Parts assortment The parts assortment are excellent. From the printed "upgraded" red wing and the aerodynamic structure of his wings frame and flaps, these are excellent printed stuff. I could simply admire the prints and the different wing pose it can adjust to, in order to show a much dynamic Captain America in aerial combats. He also come with the same shield as the Winter Soldier in this series. You can view more of the details from all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Changes of Sam Wilson Captain America(s) The Falcon and The Winter Soldier 6) Loki The next minifigure is Loki and it is the third Marvel Studios Series - Loki (Season 1 - six episodes) and among all of these four series - Loki is my favourite. Seeing him inside the Time Variance Authority (TVA) is an absolute treat and without his appearance in TVA, it was heartening to see a complete different side of Loki where you will journey the episodes altogether to gain a better understanding of him from a fresh perspective. I could imagine people whom have not watched this drama may not understand the TVA reference, but I can assure you that what you see is entirely accurate. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average, especially with the surprising inclusion of a mini-doll - Throg (similar to Thor Classic Outfit, aside in miniature scale). It also included a mug with TVA logo on it. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. Which Loki will you like to meet? 7) Sylvie This particular character - Sylvie is also a popular character in Loki and I live it as such for you to go and watch this highly acclaimed series. In fact, the alligator beside her is also equally important which explain sorts of a variant of some kind since TVA is already involve. I don't think we can have a chance to see Sylvie in other regular LEGO Marvel sets until MCU has decided to cast her into a MCU movie, but I would said she has a damn important role in what will come up in MCU Phase 4, so "thank you" - Sylvie for everything. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The alligator is an outstanding piece and I am very pleased to have this new reptile piece in the collection. She also equip with a green machete and it also come with another spare. Her hairpiece with a broken horn is a nice touch and this display accurate character design from the series. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. Loki 8) Zombie Hunter Spidey The last Marvel Studios Series - What If...? (Season 1 - nine episodes) and it is a complete bizarre journey of endless possibilities especially for these next five minifigures. How would you imagine Spiderman donning a Doctor Strange Cape and become a Zombie Hunter at the same time. Yes, it is and you can watch on episode 5 to find out more. I prefer to display Zombie Hunter Spidey with his Peter Parker appearance as it is quite refreshing to see his face in action with the nice appearance. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. I love the dual red capes and the interchangeable heads between Spiderman and Peter Parker. Technically, you can configure him into Spiderman, Peter Parker or Zombie Hunter of either ones. Good thing that it come with a white spider sling. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Why are you wearing my cape? Pete, that is a cool outfit 9) Zombie Captain America The next minifigure is the Zombie Captain America which appear in Episode 5 of What If...?. This minifigure will match well with Zombie Hunter Spidey and even though the bizarre idea of seeing Captain America being an undead is strange but this is truly impactful for zombie fans to have the first legitimate zombie superhero equivalent. Of course, you don't expect that Zombie Captain America to be all heroic. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average, other than the scarred shield which is my favourite accessory in this assortment. You could showcase a much worn out looking shield of Captain America than a pristine version. The rest of the design are heavily zombie influenced with torn and tatter clothing. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Superhero Zombie 10) Captain Carter The next superhero is Agent Carter becoming Captain Carter or Captain Britain in episode 1 of What If...? . This is a very cool alternate outcome of seeing Peggy Carter instead of Steve Rogers becoming the equivalent of Captain America. The overall design and outfit of her uniform is done beautifully and I am very fond of the union jack being featured on the torso and shield which is a very refreshing appearance. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average and the biggest highlight for me is the shield of Captain Carter. The 3 pieces of 1x1 translucent brick forms the Tesseract (one of the six infinity stones). You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. Super Soldiers Captain, what is your order? 11) T' Challa Star-Lord The next minifigure feature T'Challa becoming Star-Lord instead of taking his mantle as Black Panther in Wakanda. You can find out more about his journey in Episode 2 of What If...?. In that episode, he really change the way how he became the Guardian to be in the great universe with his great persona. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. He is equipped with his typical Star-Lord helmet with his black hair at the top that separate from the original helmet and he also got himself with a set of dual blasters. I am particularly fond of how the purple colour scheme match well with his overall attire. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Different times, different outcome 12) Gamora with Blade of Thanos The last character in What If...?. features Gamora who ends up in the last episode. She who wield Blade Of Thanos (either by inheritance or reasons unknown) - that you can find out on your own. She is one of the important characters in the finale who will accompany T'Challa and Captain Carter in her quest to become the new members of an unknown group (which is set by The Watcher). Hence, it is important to watch for yourself and to find out how did Gamora don in this incredible battle armour too. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average and the notable accessory was the brick-built blade. The design of her torso was very nicely done with the gold and black combination that match well with her green skin. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view and alternate facial expression respectively. Make me proud What If...? Have you bought your complete series? To conclude, the LEGO Minifigures - Marvel Studios Series 1 is a mixed bag of feelings. It is a very niche series which will strongly appeal to current MCU LEGO fans and to the group of fans who have or already completed watching the four mentioned TV series in Disney+. It is obvious that this series is meant to provide additional marketing promotion and coverage for products related to these newly released TV series. It is definitely the first time I had seen such a close tie-in and I must admit that TLG have done a great job to reference it well. However, anything outside of this group, it will be hard to appeal to them as they will not know how these characters come about. That is definitely some sort of restrictive towards licensed CMFs. The CMFs quality are top notch and I am glad that it still continue to serve as an avenue for others to acquire minifigures which is of unconventional to mainstream sets. Till this point, it still remain relevant even though the number of minifigures have dropped quite a fair amount of 25% from the former 16 (which I have truly missed). Nonetheless, I hope you have at least gotten yourself a chance to own a complete set. After all, this is the very first LEGO Marvel CMFs series ever release in LEGO Minifigures Theme. Please note that all opinions and content shown in this Eurobricks pictorial review is from 'WhiteFang' and is not meant to represent LEGO official views. It is purely stated to share as a vantage point of a reviewer. Summary review Playability: 10/10 (New licensed characters' designs from the Marvel series which would expand onto your gameplay.)Design: 8/10 (Most designs are pretty and a couple of new parts including the Thorg and Alligator.) Price: 6/10 (Pricing seems ok for now as there are no price hike which is quite reasonable.)Overall: 8/10 (Marvel fans, ready yourselves to complete this series.) 12. Amazing review, Veebs. Just reading this whole review back and forth to compare the details in the review. Thanks for sharing this with us and doing a great job to put this forward for our community. I will not get this item - simply because I don’t have any display space for it and it will be damn challenging for any display showcase with this length.
  13. Thanks Clonie for the awesome review. I am looking forward to pick up the upcoming wave of Harry Potter sets which will be added into my display. The adult minifigures are excited bunch of new designs. i am very much fond of the building design and they really complement very well in the layout. I had always find proper building to be much useful than some random play scene in particular where we are more focused on minifigures instead of the built. This set is definitely highly anticipated on my wishlist amongst the Harry Potter sets.
  14. I do not recall anyone able to identify the content of each player in a sealed package. It is almost near impossible - unless you are equipped with see-through visors. Even with weigh, the content in there are very similar. Except Coach Joachim, the rest is not possible to sort via sealed packet. You just got to open them. Unless someone might know another way, but I am very confident that is the only way.
  15. Thanks Hive. Aww, other than cheese slope? There are some great printed parts but even though not quite a lot of them. Thanks for the update. I hope the Road Runner is not going to be missing in some of the boxes. We just have to await for more of the other distribution reports. Ditto. I agree with the usage of the sign for restaurant and movie theatre.
  16. Dear all, I have added the minifigure - Wile E. Coyote, which just arrived at my door step just awhile ago. This will complete the overall review footage with the additional images. The review has been updated to include the following segment. I strongly believe this is an isolated batch error and I am currently verifying this information with our LEGO Ambassador, Jim. Hence, I cannot confirm the distribution ratio after receiving one unit of that particular missing minifigure. 3) Wile E. Coyote (unavailable in this review) - post-review note: added on 16 April 2021, after TLG has sent this minifigure to me I am very pleased that LEGO CEE has provided us the missing minifigure and I have taken these simple set of photos without my elaborate setup. Hence, this minifigure is a little bit short of the images but I do hope it will provide you with a complete insight on the entire series. I reckon and believe the boxes which the community receive is an isolated batch error, but I am unable to really confirm this at this point. I am very pleased with the overall accuracy of Wile E. Coyote mold especially the design of the head. He is part of the duo which feature Road Runner as he is always up to his cunning schemes to capture and outwit Road Runner with his devious tactics which will lead to its ultimate feast. Parts assortment The parts are pretty average. The brick built anvil is a nice touch as most of his traps are associated with that. I did wish we can see an ACME explosive instead. That will be much better. It also include a tail at the back. You can view more of the details from the side view and back view respectively. Parts assortment WhiteFang
  17. Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and comments. I am sure most of us will be looking forward to collect their favorite toons. I could be really disappointed if Tweety is made into a microfigure. I like the way it is even though it is bigger in size. The use of small legs and the bigger head could helped on the minifig proportion. Thanks Makoy. Everyone is just looking for Elmer. Yes, he’s an iconic toon which is always heavily featured together with Bugs and Daffy. Yes, we are not the only community that have received this wrong distribution. TLG is already aware of this and the three spare Road Runners are definitely from the missing Coyote. Thanks Clonie. This is what happens when we get a highly specialized LEGO licensed CMFs. It’s either you like it or dislike it. Considering that Looney Tunes is a popular cartoon (not as prominent as Disney) but it serve the right appeal for those who grew up with them watching the cartoons. For me, nostalgic hits me hard and the design outcome is exactly what I could expect too in relations to minifigure design. I am also equally clueless on Petunia Pig as well. That is the only character which I had not seen before. I also share your sentiments for the missing minifigs design. One can only hope for a future series but I highly doubt it will come as TLG could require some form of tie in to get people into buying more Looney Tunes. Thanks The Stud. So glad you enjoyed the various crossovers with various themes of mine. That is something I truly enjoy doing when I am messing with new minifigs and LEGO is all about playing and having fun. Now I am curious of the real SRP.
  18. No, I didn’t manage to review the recent Series 21. Likewise, Series 20 and Batman CMFs series 2 are also not available too. Hope it clarifies.
  19. I am not sure but it should guaranteed three complete sets from a sealed box. I am not sure if the boxes for the communities are the one solely affected though. Thanks Robert8. Yes, EB was given this reviewing opportunity. We were not extended to the recent Series 21.
  20. Thank you for your thoughts. Although some could be underwhelming, but I really think it is pretty amazing to see such new molds being put into great use in minifigure context and scale. Thanks AmperZand. Nowadays, I am not able to keep up with all of the releases, but I will do my best to continue working on it, whenever possible. I had placed Speed Gonzales against the BL colour guide. It is very much medium brown when I put it side by side with the BL colour guide on my monitor. If I view it as it is without reference, it is more towards medium nougat. Not sure if it helps.

Dear Eurobricks Community, I am very pleased to share with all of you my newest review work on the LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1, even though there are some disappointment in the distribution (for me). I hope you will enjoy reading this reviewing coverage. Feel free to leave your thoughts and comments. Thank you. WhiteFang
  23. Hello everyone, It has been quite sometimes since I last did a LEGO CMFs review for Eurobricks. With this set in my hand, I am very glad to be back on the reviewing scene with this exciting refreshing opportunity to share with our Eurobricks Community. Thanks to our EB Ambassador, Jim for facilitating this reviewing opportunity for Eurobricks. Special thanks and mention to The LEGO Group (TLG) and my wife (Belun) for the support on this reviewing endeavor. Without further ado, I am very pleased to present my latest simple review on this brand new licensed LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1 which will be available worldwide in May 2021 (estimated). This will also be my 32nd LEGO pictorial reviews for the coverage of the LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series / LEGO Minifigures Theme. Name: 71030 LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1 Theme: LEGO System / Collectable Minifigures / Looney Tunes Year: 2021 Minifigs: 12 unique minifigures Price for 1 box: USD N.A, GBP N.A EURO N.A, SGD $234.00Price for 1 packet: USD N.A, GBP N.A, EURO N.A, SGD $6.50 Resources: Brickset, BrickLink, Brick Insights An image of an 71030 LEGO Looney Tunes Series 1 The LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1 main colour schema is based on white background with wacky expressions around it. I am surprised that they didn't use bright orange instead, which is a typical choice for Looney Tunes branding. [Reference 1] [Reference 2] [Reference 3] [Reference 4] What could possibly lurk within these mysterious sealed packets? The most wacky bunch of looney characters has finally descended onto LEGO universe This is the first time for me to review a box of LEGO Collectible Minifigures with 36 minifigures. This new trend started with the recent LEGO CMFs release of Series 21 in January 2021. With this approach, it helps buyers to spend less at the expense of less newer designs from the usual 16 to a new 12 minifigures. However, the biggest advantage is that you are able to form full three sets per sealed box. Before I officially dive into the review, I would like to point out for my sealed box which I have received from TLG. It saddens me greatly that I am unable to present a minimum full set of 12. I did not receive any minifigure of Wile E. Coyote and I got three extras of another character which you will see shortly. I am not exactly sure how prevalent this is but I would like to get this out of the way before I touch on the various parts of this new LEGO CMFs series. Therefore, I will also not mention in greater details for this particular missing minifigure too. To see my childhood cartoon characters appearing in LEGO minifigure design, it is simply incredible and magical. Looney Tunes was developed by Warner Brothers in the early 1930s and I had watched most of the episodes in the early 1980s where it showed me most of the crazy and wacky side of cartoon character which defy all odds of gravity and physics. This is a complete opposite from the regular Disney cartoon characters. Every cartoon character has a special unique personality in it and LEGO was able to accurately create them into minifigures standard with specialised head mold and parts. This is also a very timely release to match with the upcoming the new blockbuster movie - Space Jam 2 (A new legacy) which will be released somewhere in July 2021. Please be informed that a portion of the characters' references are linked to looneytunes.wikia.com for additional background information on the named characters for better appreciation. DISCLAIMER: Please note the naming for all 12 minifigures that I have use in this review are likely to be official TLG minifigures naming for the LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1. General Statistics for 71030 LEGO Looney Tunes Series 1 Below is the combination which I have received from my box and I am sad to inform that I am unable to form any complete sets with 3 specific remaining spare characters. 3 Lola Bunny (s) 3 Bugs Bunny (s) 0 Wile E. Coyote (s) 6 Road Runner (s) 3 Twetty (s) 3 Sylvester the Cat (s) 3 Daffy Duck (s) 3 Speedy Gonzales (s) 3 Tasmanian Devil (s) 3 Marvin the Martian (s) 3 Petunia Pig (s) 3 Porky Pig (s) Front view of the LEGO Looney Tunes Series 1 promotional poster Back view of the LEGO Looney Tunes Series 1 promotional poster Each minifigure contained in this sealed packet. You can view more of the details at the back of the sealed packet. After you have opened all of the packet content, you will receive these spare and loose parts. As you flip to the back of the promotional poster, you will notice a set of simple instructions to guide those who are not familiar with the fixing of minifigures' accessories built and cape placement. These are some basic instructions to guide our very young builders who may not be familiar with these building parts. 1) Lola Bunny Without further ado, let's bring out the first licensed minifigure design in this series. Lola Bunny was first appeared in the 1996 Space Jam Movie which feature most of the Looney Tunes characters and she was eventually became Bugs Bunny's girlfriend at the end of the movie. She is excellent in playing basketball and is one of the strikers in Tune Squad. We had seen other LEGO bunny characters before and this is definitely a very nice representation of a licensed bunny design which is very accurate with the original character design reference. One more thing, don't ever call her "doll". Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The printing on the minifigure overall sports attire is very detailed with all of the all rounded printing. I am a little disappointed that the designer did not include a proper basketball accessory and instead we receive a round orange orb which can be held on the hand. I am particularly fond of her ponytail at the back of her head. the You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Meet my new friends Can I have this bunny instead? 2) Bugs Bunny If you have ever watched Looney Tunes before, then you can never forget the witty Bugs Bunny in the show. He is the one of the main characters in the cartoon and the key mascot as well. He is known for his relaxed, passive personality, mischievous trickster and his catchphrase "Eh, what's up, doc?" usually said, while chewing a carrot. It is a pity that his other sworn counterparts such as Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd are not included in this series. I would love to create funny chase scenes with any of the pranks that Bugs Bunny plan to pull off. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average with the inclusion of a common carrot. The overall design of Bugs Bunny attire can also be used to create other LEGO bunny variants for other costumed effects to pair with. Even though there is no bunnyt tail at the back, but I do not mind since it has a printed tail at the back of the torso. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Looney Couple Eh... What's up, doc? Parts assortment 4) Road Runner The next minifigure is Road Runner after we skip the missing Wile E. Coyote. I am very excited to see Road Runner and this is my favourite character in this series. Road Runner is known for his intelligent counter-offensive actions against his nemesis - Wile E. Coyote. He is famous for his signature phase "Beep Beep" and he is fast like the speed of light. Most of his scenes are filmed in the desert and one such particular moment which must include the laws of cartoon physics. For example, the Road Runner has the ability to enter the painted image of a cave, while the Wile E. Coyote can't. I am truly surprised of how they are able to create this character and at the same time maintaining as a minifigure scale. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average and the snack are made up of common parts. The new parts included his head and tail feather to accompany with his featured hands and molded head. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Birds of a feather Beep Beep 5) Tweety The next minifigure is also an iconic character - Tweety, which is a yellow canary that has a somewhat large head. Tweety appears to be an innocent, sweet and extremely gentle little bird. Don't be fooled by that or you probably end up a much dreadful fate like Sylvester the Cat. His catchphrase is "I think I saw a kitten." Granny is overprotective of Tweety and keeps Sylvester away. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. The built of the mallet is quite impressive with the available parts. It packs a punch and somehow shows Tweety's wraith. The overall design is very accurate with her short legs and non-featured body. Some of us do expect Tweety to be much petite and the use of the short legs which used to maintain minifigure scale is a good outcome. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Bonus character in Mario Course Beware of the mighty mallet 6) Sylvester the Cat The next minifigure is Sylvester the Cat and is the arch enemy of Tweety. Sometimes, he also goes after Speedy Gonzales as well. He shows a lot of pride in his devious activities and many a times, it ended up as a complete failure despite of his never-said-die attitude. The overall design is just so fantastic and I can't wait to put him together with Daffy Duck and Bugs Bunny for some hilarious pranks. Parts assortment The parts assortment are average. It include a common baseball bat. The overall minifigure design is suitable to create other feline costumed character as well. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Who shall prevail? Shall we run now? Star Tunes 7) Daffy Duck Seeing Daffy Duck in this selection simply made me felt elated. Just like how I felt about Road Runner, this is just a classic iconic Looney Tunes character which is paired up with Bugs Bunny for the many hilarious stints. Like the "Rabbit Season" signage which Daffy Duck is holding to alert all hunters in that vicinity to hunt for rabbits aka Bugs Bunny. To deter that issue, Bugs Bunny will often divert the attention to "Duck Season". This is a good childhood memory to remise about. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. The duck tail is now in a black variant while the 2x2 printed tile featuring the "Rabbit Season" is the key accessory highlight. The overall built is simple and yet accurate, which depict Daffy Duck original design. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. This is the rabbit season Don't chase after me 8) Speedy Gonzales Ándele! ¡Ándele! ¡Arriba! ¡Arriba! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! ¡Epa! Yeehaw!", that was Speedy Gonzales signature phase. When you translate from Spanish, it meant Go on!, Go on!, Up, Up!". Speedy Gonzales is the Fastest Mouse in All of Mexico". He usually wears an oversized yellow sombrero, white shirt and trousers. He has a soft spot for cheese and you can't hide the presence from him. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. I love the new printed cheese slope and it is very useful in MOCs. The tail is a new part which I had not recalled seeing it before. If I can wish for one more accessory, perhaps a plate to hold the cheese will be ideal. You can view more of the details from the all rounded view inclusive of front, side and back view. Festive Cheers Give us your cheese 9) Tasmanian Devil The next minifigure is the infamous Tasmanian Devil who leave a trail of destruction whenever he goes. His ravenous appetite is Tasmanian Devil's main characteristic. He will devours everything in sight, including boulders, trees, shrubs, and hills, all the while whirling about like a miniature cyclone in smooth clockwork. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. I like the pie and drumstick as the food. The main focus is the new printed circular spinner to simulate the spinning. I have tried the spinning and it does not perform a perfect spin as you could like it to be. Nonetheless, it is a good representation. There are no significant printing on the parts except the toes. Battle of the Spinners No trolls can pin me down 10) Marvin the Martian It warms my heart to see a Looney Tunes villain appearing in this selection. Marvin the Martian is what you could imagine a Martian looks like. Well, no one had ever seen a Martian in real life too. Despite his destructive tendency to destroy Earth, he is a funny comedic character. At times, he shows an interest in studying Earth rather than destroying it. Marvin is the quietest, calmest and politest among the Looney Tunes villains. Parts assortment The parts assortment are above average. It come with a new skirt piece and a lime green ray gun. I am particularly fond of the exaggerated pair of eyes which resemble accurately of Marvin the Martian. The helmet design is also spot-on with great accuracy with Spartan culture all over it. Come with me You are under our custody 11) Petunia Pig I am actually surprised to see Petunia Pig in this series. She is the only character which I have vague memory of, other than she is Porky Pig's girlfriend. I had looked at her original cartoon design and the outfit matched completely with her dress and braided black hair. I have very little recollection of her and this is probably my most least favourite character to me. To me, it was not as impactful as compared to Lola Bunny's first appearance. I suspect her inclusion is to increase the number of female minifigures in this series. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. The tea pot and cups accessories are welcomed and the new bright red skirt is also a nice touch. The overall printing on the attire are also very good. Join me for a cup of tea We will find a good partner for you 12) Porky Pig The last character in this series is Porky Pig and he is a real cutie. He is known for his signature line at the end of each short, "Th-Th-Th-That's All Folks!" and it is so nice to see a 2x4 printed tile with the iconic sign-off at the end of each Looney Tunes cartoon episode. The overall design is very well made and accurate with the original reference. Parts assortment The parts assortment are slightly above average. It include parts to form the holder of the banner. The main highlight could be the 2x4 printed tile with the iconic font of "That's all Folks!". The overall minifigure attire is also well printed. Lovely couple Visiting the Pig Shrine The LEGO Looney Tunes Series 1 will be launching on the 1st May 2021, est (worldwide) To conclude, the LEGO Minifigures - Looney Tunes Series 1 is an excellent specialised batch of minifigures which are very accurate to the original character reference. In fact, I did not find any glaring faults on any of the designs. All of the head molds are very sturdy and well made. The printing are very accurate and detailed. Every character in this series is an instant spot-on and anyone who is familiar with Looney Tunes are bound to praise the well designed minifigures through this sheer refreshing combination. Despite of the lack of new parts in the series, it is understandable that most of the costing would have gone to these specialised new parts. We did get two new printed plates and a new printed cheese slope. Overall, this is a damn fine series and I am looking forward to see what the rest of you could do. Of course, if you count my disappointment for the lack of Wile E. Coyote, it will not be a happy ending for sure. Summary review Playability: 10/10 (New licensed characters' designs from the Looney Tunes universe that can be integrated across many LEGO settings for more wacky fun.)Design: 10/10 (Outstanding designs with superb detailed molds to represent accurate depiction of the characters.) Price: 4/10 (Pricing does not look too friendly and I hope the price will not increase further in order to recover cost. Distribution is very unstable and I am sure there are some risks involved as well.)Overall: 8/10 (Ready yourself for this new craze. Looney Tune fans will surely be looking forward to them.)
