Another beautiful piece of vintage locomotive. It's great to see such awesome train creations from you.

It's getting messy in there... 1) Removed EB member, legowill1 submitted blank WIP entry. 2) Removed EB member, legowill1 Category B entry. [Failed because of placeholder minifigure and poor photography] 3) GeneralTalon is given "Pending" status. Please read my comments in your submitted entry. 4) James Markham is given "Pending status. Please read my comments in your submitted entry. 5) Cusm is given "Pending" status. Please read my comments in your submitted entry. absolutelylez, may I know why 3 of your images are all different in terms of lightning?

IMPORTANT NOTICE After much consideration, I will like the participants not to make use of the fiction minifigure to be used for their entry such as black minifigure or neutral minifigure is not allowed. Furthermore I have added rules to raise the standard of photography of participants' entries. Thanks. Rules added/amended for Category A and B [updated on first post] # No clone brands or custom parts including decals, stickers, cut outs unless it's official TLG stickers. # No placeholder minifigure (Series 2) can be used to reflect the actual position in the entry. # No webcam or handphone camera images can be used for the submitted entry. It must be taken in a clean and decent background with enough brightness to show the beauty of your entry. Yes, it's possible to give advice and you could probably do it here. No, then in the first place, I don't need to create the entries topics for each category.

It can be WIP to a large extent until the deadline gets closer (less than a week). Participants are allow to retake their photos and make adjustments to improve the overall presentation better especially picture clarity and quality. However, if you are intending to change the entire entry concept after submission, it's best that you clear with me first and get a replacement up as soon as you can, otherwise it's not fair to others who have decided to share their entry early. Then again, I will normally reject it unless you have a strong valid reason to do so. In this case, EB member, legowill1 has withdraw his earlier submitted entry and is working on his entry again since his entry image is very small and can't be seen which will ultimately lead to disqualification. EB Members may feel free to drop their advise/opnions in this disucssion thread to share their thoughts on the submitted entries. Maybe you could

Eurobricks Raffle and Mystery Treasure Hunt

The creator is definitely not me. However, this clue can be pretty direct if you read it from a certain angle and think simple by using your existing LEGO knowledge in a particular recent theme (less than 4 years) where you could easily relate this. -

The last window will be made available on the 10th September. I have not made the official announcement for the submission deadline but it will last for at least another 7 days, likely on or after 17th Sep. I hope this helps. I am not sure if you have used that method above but I don't think it's quite possible for you to locate in this manner based on the given windows in the first post. In short, the URLs are different and yes, the EB Staff have already considered that possibility. Dear Eurobricks Community, The exciting moment is coming soon and now we are on the 14th window, Mime Artist - 14th window [8th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 0830HRS, GMT +8] [Poor Mime, why must you be sad? You look so miserable, but at least you've found a friend to cry with. Maybe you could both wear your happy faces instead?] WhiteFang -
Interesting. I don't know what's the right way but for all of mine minifigures holds the same orientation like yours, regardless of the items that they hold like the Forestmen image below,

Since this is non-LEGO related, I will move this over to the Community section. Sorry to hear about this and welcome to Eurobricks. WhiteFang

Participants, you are strongly advised to check your submitted entry for my comments. If you see my comments in your entry, it means you needs to do something about it and if you don't see any, it means you are pretty safe for now. No, the required minifigure needs to be in the original state. This is something new? A cut out of the TLG instruction page? Personally, it will be leading towards customisation aspect, so I don't permit that. This question is in between and is stepping on the thin line. IMHO, I discourage the use of stand-in unless it's totally required but if you needs a firm answer from me, I will need to think about it first. On another note, I just realised one of the entry is using such concept too.

Plain awesome! I love the incredible landscaping of yours and the cave above. You even placed your own signature in that MOC, "Quack Quack".

Interesting review. Thanks for doing up those videos to showcase the playability features. It's really nice to see such fun mechanisms made available in this. I wasn't interested in this theme, mainly because back then I was in my dark age. It's good to see a review like this to keep me informed of the beauty of this set.

REVIEW: 8964 Titanium Command Rig
WhiteFang replied to -R8-'s topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
As what Rufus has mentioned, "stunning". I wanted to grade this review earlier but seeing the rest of the dedicated teachers are helping you out, I will wait patiently for this graduation review. It's not easy to handle a large set like this for your 3rd level and I must admit that you pulled it off well. First of all, I am not a big Power Miners fan, but after seeing your review, it kinds of tempted me to look at it again and wondered if I should get this in the first place for the drilling platform. Lots of fun for kids who love actions very much. Thanks for sharing this review. -

But seriously, this is the Collectable Minifigures Series 2 celebration and the Mexican is our lovely ambassador. -
Thanks for sharing this comprehensive review. A nice 4-studs wide car with doors is welcoming but that's what I hope for though. This set does not come with red doors and I have to purchase those doors and done slight modifications to allow that fixtures. Nevertheless, it's still a decent set though. I have inserted the review title as well which you have omitted earlier.

Dear Eurobricks Community, The 13th window is up, Mexican - 13th window [7th SEPTEMBER 2010 at 0900HRS, GMT +8] [He likes to roams the streets of his village. Can be found in a MOC.] WhiteFang -
I have attempt to answer the questions below, even though my rules has stated clearly. Please read the rules and ask something related to the contest, especially areas which I have not covered earlier. Appreciate it very much. Thanks. Yes, it's possible and it happens before in the previous Minifigures Series 1 contest. No. You are not allow to vote for your own entry. The voting rules will be further explained once the categories are closed. You can include other minifigures of any other types. I don't quite understand your question. Yes, you are allowed. Refer to the previous contest for examples related to Category A. Because other parts of the world have not gotten their Minifigures Series 2 and it will serve as an unfair advantage for those who owns them and used it in their entries. Maybe. Maybe not. Yes, you can replace his surfboard for other existing elements. No new Minifigures Series 2 elements/parts are allowed. I know what are those parts. Read the prizes distribution again.
-
Category B has to be on the 16x16 building platform. It's meant to weave a story for one chosen minifigure in Series 1 to interact with an imaginary minifigure in Series 2. In this case, it's not allowed. However, you may choose to modify the rest of the crash test dummies not to look like the orignal ones since the rules permit the usage of Minifigures Series 1 new parts. Hope it helps.
-
No, you are not allow to do so since this area belongs to customisation aspect. No, you can't use any Series 2 Minifigures or new Series 2 parts in this contest at all. This is to ensure fairness among the interested participants, especially for those who do not own the Series 2 Minifigures yet. Furthermore, the previous contest was also following the same manner just like the current Category A.
-
I meant using only "parts" and I don't mean using those parts to form the exact same minifigure inside Series 1 twice which is why I mention only having one designated minifigure in the storyline. However, using those Series 1 parts to construct a brand new minifigure to compliment the storyline is allow.
