  1. So, which is which?? It did contain this hyperlink below, http://cache.lego.com/images/shop/prod/9901-0000-XX-12-1.jpg
  2. Thanks guys for such an awesome trade, +1 to EverettYA and +1 to robuko
  3. Voted for Elf! Same here. I like Musketeer but I don't think I will need them in hundreds. Yes, I believed Cheerleader was the female army builder and was very receptive to many. I am not sure what was the rational but it was meant to build a team of sexy cheerleaders. I, too was also looking for this fig when the Series 1 was still around. I didn't know that you have made use of the polls. Thanks mate!
  4. Excellent topic! This really arouses my interest especially when collecting LEGO is part of mine army building conquest. Is there an option for me to choose all? For myself, I don't disregard myself of what to army build and what not. In this case, of what you have presented, these minifigures are the ones that I will wish to army build to an unbelievable level of troops given the amount of financial resources and availability. I enjoyed collecting these army building minifigures as it helps to potray the size of the army that one kingdom or empire that could use this to associate with. This is a picture below which identify some of mine favourite army building minifigures and it didn't include the ones like the Zombie, Ninja and Musketeer. If you really forced me to choose, I could only emphasis on the following minifigures and these minifigures are equal weightage in my context and not based on any sort of ranking. 1) Elves 2) Samurai 3) Forestmen 4) Spartans
  5. Thanks Hinck for taking off your precious time to write this lengthy critique. For sure, this is one of the few mafia games which I have placed a lot of efforts especially in the private scenes. In the past, I tend to fly under radar and hoping to find trusty allies in the midst of the game and rarely participates actively in both sequence. However, this game change dramatically at the start of Day 1 when I was actually being cast to the fire. I wasn't very happy and determined to fight back. It was an extremely risky move and I can't believe I managed to pull off and because of my reveal of my certain information as the firefighter, people actually believes me one way or another. It was not complete trust but I managed to convinced many leading townies. More importantly, I do not know why I was not made as a target by the scummie. I thought I will be long dead by now and I really wondered why. Can it be that the scums didn't believe that I was the firefighter at first or simply disregard me as their threat and go straight for others. When you have so many people interacting with one another in private, we (include the masons) analysis each other claims and that is where we find the loopholes in there. I knew who to trust and hope to trust at first, like beliving in def, Rick, Rufus, Draggy, Murdock, Sandy, Walter, Esky and ISC. Some sneaky scums like badboy and Zepher are trying their best to make me believe in them. I did believe a little at first, but not completely. We lost alot of friends in order to win this cause... I truly enjoy the games very much. Even though Hinck and I got some misunderstandings along the way, and it was partly because of my misinterpretation and creative imagination which annoyed poor Hinck a little. I didn't mean to but the only thing which annoys me the most was actually answering the riddle... Managed to get the answer right but asked a stupid question and wasted the chance. Thereafter, I wasn't able to submit my answers on time. Kudos to Rufus for being such an amazing leader. He really woke up at 5am just to make sure he can solve the riddle in time and that answer helps a little to our cause. There are so much things to look back in this game and I rely alot of gut feeling and hunches to deduce this game. For example in the masonic network, I had never cooperate with Arjay before but I know he is an elite player and I find it very surprising that he was interacting little or none among us in the writeboard or even PMs to me. I don't know what Arjay has been up to but to me, he is the kind of "leading" person to me and I think his analysis should be there somehow or another. It was just a strong feeling that I could not explain but merely told Rufus on how I felt in private. We had a lot of paranoid experience in the masonic network and that caused quite alot of mistrust. At one stage in time, I was so worried that I can't even trust a single soul. Ultimately, things turns out well. There are so many interesting stuff happening behind the scenes, especially when you are trying to figure out their roles/night actions of others. I hope to play more of such games and hopefully it will be less intenstive in the minds. Perhaps this is an all star game and we tend to be very wary with one another!
  6. Zero PMs??? I can't really believe that one player can actually maintain such extreme low profile without communicating with one another.
  7. I am getting senile...
  8. I didn't expect that it will ultimately turns out fine! Before I was recruit into the masons, I believe I shared this "observation" with def, Rick and Rufus. Only just a few of them knew the logic behind this bunny story. At that stage, def strongly supports Sandy very much and the only 2 bunnies among them, left Bob. Based on the opening pictures, the arsonist was holding a "carrot looking" torch and to further infer from the pictures based on Day 2 and limited clues, I decided to share this hunch in order to get the act going to conclude that the one holding the torch from the arsonist is a bunny. The problem was, we never knew the true alignment of Bob the next day and fail to realise that we actually scored one.
  9. That helps alot. I wonder if we are able to see outside of US. I will love to get that packaging and knows the exact distribution. I couldn't mind to get more since almost all minifigures in Series 4 rock.
  10. Happy birthday Izzy. May you have a great and enjoyable one. I am sure it is nice to have someone special to start this moment.
  11. Very nice review! I will never forget this set. A regretful experience for not putting this set in my shopping basket when it was on sales... I shouldn't have gave it a second thought, thinking that such an awesome combination of classic Batman villian, Penguin (not you ) against mighty sidekick, Robin. For a medium set like this, it is definitely value for money and not to mention that there are those cute little brick built penguins.
  12. LuxorV, this is a well written presentation on this LEGO Vintage review. I never knew the existence of this set and even though the design is not part of the modern LEGO design concept but the overall appeal back in the 1970s certainly appeal to many. I could not mind to own such vintage LEGO model and put them on display and potray as if it was a chart of evolution of LEGO motorbikes. Thanks for sharing and I can't wait to find out your next review.
  13. Ahhhh!!! You know the whole paranoia thingy started off very early and it was actually not long when Arjay was recruited and we didn't use the writeboard after that. It was all coordinated and everyone including myself was suspected by one another from our fellow masons. At that time, it was truly a tough period for all of us to go through.
  14. Brickster, this is an excellent review especially with the good usage of the black frames that encompass the dark aura of this ship, and very much suitable for the whole POTC theme. Despite the weak areas of this set which includes lack of complete cannons and high prices, I think the designers did a great job for a taste like myself. I am very much eager to place this together with the Imperial Flagship. At the very least, it is not as bad at the Blackbeard's Bounty ship. Perhaps that can't be placed on the comparison chart in the first place. Oh well, I think with the upcoming Black Pearl and putting this ship side by side. I am very certain it will be an impressive view. As for the minifigures, I am definitely in love with them. Like what all licensed minifigures does, it simply filled with lovely details that yearn for more.
  15. Yes, Walter Kovacs is our town vigiliate. Throughout the game, only Draggy and I knew of his actual identity through his knowledge and we shared this in our mason network, to make sure we keep Walter and even Eskallon safe but that info was leaked out when Arjay got inside and more half of our resources are gone... Those were our key allies before Draggy and Rick were killed. It was practically a double blow for us. We also lose def along the way due to the framing process...
  16. Thoughts are now flying in and out of my mind. I got more than 300 PMs solely catered for this game and practically interacted almost 80% of the players via PM approach. A lot of things are happening behind the scenes. First of all, I owe def an apology. We couldn't convert you over and we never knew why the action failed, and at that very same day, you are actually framed.. Now we understands why and I really think you have done well to pull all of us together at the early start. By the way, this is my character's bio!
  17. The conculsion???? The victory of the mighty Masonic villagers!!! I thought we still had one more scummy player to worry about and it looks like everything has paid off but with a great deal of sacrifice. I am so thrilled and it have been so hard to keep my mouth shut during this game on the last day!! I will like to thanks my fellow masonic players, which includes Rufus, Draggy, Rick, Fugazi and CorneliusMurdock for our team work even though the both of you came in very much later. There are so much thoughts and comments in my head and this is definitely one of the most intensive mafia game which I have participated and I am glad this game really made me learnt a lot from it in this different gameplay. And, yes before I forget, don't ever metagame me on the first day!!! Thank you Hinck, for hosting this outstanding all-star games. We have plently of questions for you and I need time to compose my thoughts better.
  18. Thank you so much for all of your kind comments for this review. The POTC theme is really incredible even though there are some disappointments and the high price factor but I don't think that will deter most of these new LEGO purchases. It is interesting to note that the Euro prices are quite or almost on par with SGD currency. I fully agreed with you. Not only that, it works well with the Medieval Castle era, by changing the hands to yellow. Erdy, thank you for the frontpage. I think it will be quite possible to see a few more reviews once the local stores is equipped with the POTC sets. Thank you Admiral Croissant for the CP blog! Looks like there is some bit of confusion between here and there. Mine set is clearly comes from the Europe region, while this problem seems to surface from the US region. I really wondered if this is intentional. Do you have any pictures showing this new changes? Now I am really baffled. I wonder if this will be an one off problem? No backing for the instruction manual package too. It appears so. That's funny! Me too. I think this whole set is merely to sell those exclusive minifigures to people like us and bundled with a couple of useful parts and accessories to entice us. Nope, the POTC sets have not arrived in Singapore and it is estimated to arrive in May.
  19. Huh??? My set don't have any of those mentioned wierd stuff. It is just those regular typical normal golden Pirates coins in the correct denomination of 10, 20, 30 and 40 with LEGO wordings on the other side. I don't know any of those new coins. Opps!!! You are right. I have amended and updated the content accordingly. Hopefully I have changed it correctly. I find this point very new. I haven't been reading a lot of the recent discussions or revelations on any of those coins. Can someone enlighten me a little on what I have missing so far? You meant POTC LEGO sets???
  20. I think to sum up, regardless which country one is from, the sealed box distribution is very much likely the same. For the upcoming box of Series 5, I can safely assume it will be at least 2 complete sets, anything lesser, will definitely caused more unhappiness. Meanwhile, I can't see this topic discussion going anywhere. Thus, this topic will be locked. Thanks. WhiteFang
  21. Time for me to clean up this past April Fool Joke. Topic locked. WhiteFang
  22. I have been a little lagging behind my indexing. For now, I will index this and will do the rest of the backlog later.
